I have a number of these which I use for my various Crucial MX500 SSD drives. Work perfectly and no problems to date after 6 months. Great product.

I have a question. I purchased one of these Sabrent Units thinking it was similar to a WD Passport Backup drive. It already had a HDD in it. It is odd though because the case is Sabrent, The HDD inside says it is HGST and when I plug it into my computer it says that it is a Lenovo. So anyway I am trying to understand would this only be for transferring files manually that I want to back up? Or is there an app that goes with this that I can use it for auto backups? I may have purchased the wrong thing. Thanks

So this didn't help as the enclosure they sent me is borked. They soldered the sata connectors so flush to the base of the enclosure that the Ssd won't connect. 2 out of 10. Don't recommend.
