I'm not going to lie I like how I met your mother but the whole Quinn and Barney romantic subplot was so freaking unnecessary and it was absolutely completely pointless it really slow down the show a lot I mean seriously what was the point of that whole thing
Jullian Mitchell idk but it kinda foreshadowed (with the whole trust thing, the prenup) him and robin somehow ending up. The guy trusted robin the most, if i may recall he was offered to make a prenup for robin but he refused i think he said, "not this time" or something like that
Plus, it was a stepping stone for Barney. He realized that he was ready to commit but didn't quite realize what a healthy marriage looked like. And unfortunately, same thing happened with robin
