Very informative video...Just for reference.. i am 5' 6" and i am comfortable with bike in the city as my daily commuter. and clocked 5000 km on this. I dropped the bike once during the initial days on a slope because i was holding the clutch and by the time i switched my leg to change the gear, it went backwards and i dropped it. I have not dropped it again as i learnt the mistake i made. If you ride it regularly we will automatically get used to. U turns are managable, if you want to move the vstrom from the parking, I prefer by moving the bike without sitting, getting it into a comfortable position and then get on it and start riding, slopes always ensure i dont keep the bike in neutral and keep it in first gear when starting bike from slope, that way i have my right feet on the brake and dont have to switch my feet to change gear. Also I purchased lower seat option and it was very hard and after using that for 2000 km, when i switched to the original seat, it felt like a sofa and i found not much of a difference in height. So dont go for it, unless you really need it. Hope this helps. I never tried the KTM 390 Adv fearing the seat height but after riding the Vstrom, I feel that even KTM 390 is managable as our body gets adapted to the tall seat height if you ride it regularly
if the vehicle is moving to left, then you need to get the handle cone set checked. It can be the major reason for that or the break pad setting also needs to be checked.

Very nice review👌 I will buy the VStrom 250 SX if Suzuki increase the suspension travel, increase the tank capacity to 15 litres, slightly taller handlebars with a revised peg position for ease of riding when standing up on the pegs, also give switchtable ABS, a bit more low end torque and a stronger light.

no, but with changed fairing, better tyres, more off road capabilities and better package for long touring compared to gixxer, yes. and amol waise bhi, honda suzuki are overpriced, why? they seem overpriced comparing to below average mediocre indian products because they offers alot, like features etc, but then it comes to engine and refinement, they are far behind compared to honda , suzuki and yamaha. if someone is going to buy honda or suzuki, there is no other option apart from paying that extra money, all because of its quality and being a foreign product.

Sf, you do touring on sf also but vstrom would be a hassle in city! Still go visit showroom and take test ride and decide for yourself. Also, if sx is the choice and budget no issue, check R15

- i commute over 60 km daily in traffic and the oil cooling is so good that even in bumper to bumper traffic there is no heating issues ! - Handle imbalance and lhs pulling even i am facing hoping suzuki does some r/d on this. - Mileage is just great maybe the best in 250cc category
I think rusting problem is due to 3 things. 1 Inferior material and 2. is tropical. The place where you ride the bike , like humidity and close to Salty atmosphere like Mumbai-Chennai.3. surface coating like paint, plating etc. Go for powder coating instead of painting and do not wash it everyday, do it only when needed

Would you recommend this for urban highways? I have 15 kms commute to my office. It is mostly on a big 12 lane road with signals at many intervals. So basically you need the ability to accelerate quickly and brake confidently. Currently I use activa whivh scares the life out of me everyday whenever a car passes by me at 100kmph. Do you think this bike is suitable for such a workload

depends on individual's choice, for highways vstrom is still better, for off road i would say xpulse is better and then if you ask me highway touring with pillion, vstrom is the winner. Now you pick one seeing your requirements.
its a good price but make sure you check its condition, get it checked from mechanic and ask the service details, if any service has been made. if everything is alright, good condition etc and your requirement is to get a touring bike, then yes it a good choice.
in a short note i would say if city riding is there, prefer dominar 250. But overall for city there are many good bikes, i just said dominar 250 out of these two choices. if Touring then vstrom anytime.
About your view of taking personal vehicle to ladakh is so weird! I mean activa platina fir bhi kharab ho sakti hai, 250 cc engine me koi farak nhi padega. My cousin took his avenger at 30000kms it completed 80000 km before he shifted to a car! Nothing happened to the bike after going to ladakh!
if you ride alone,ek dum solid. fun to ride, lightweight, esay in traffic, good with mileage and city plus covering long kms like 300-400 is piece of cake.
Some major issues I have personally felt: 1. Rusting issue almost sabka hai. 2. Handle bar pull(left, right) , wobbling bahat logo ka aa raha hai. I had a very minor fall (bike landed on a car on right side), handlebar started wobbling very slightly when trying to make the handle bar straight after a turn. Been to best service centre of Bangalore yet the issue is still there (infact I'm right now in service centre now it's my 3rd visit). 3. Not a major problem but I'm feeling vibration post 5000rpm.(it's a unit specific issue)
Wobbling is different, for that you can check my previous videos on apache. And yes ,with change of tyre, you can get rid of this issue. It's with royal Enfield, tvs mainly, due to poor stock parts.

Try motul 300v engine oil. Absolutely no vibrations whatsoever I'm using it in my Gixxer 250 naked.

Gixxer have coneset issue..due to which if you hit a hard bump you will end up changing it .

I live in BLR and shortly after delivery I noticed rust on the chain and under the footpeg. Brand new bike. I was shocked.

There is no comparison between cb200x with v storm, it's not even 200cc as well.
Highway Cruising speed of the bike . is engine strained at 90-100kmph ? at same time how about vibrations in this speed range ?

Actually i haven't installed a 3rd party double stand, it's solely on side stand, and no i havent tried such jugaad 😅

thanks for bringing that out, stiff clutch is also one of the factor makes vstrom riding in city traffic tiresome and difficult.
yezdi adventrue is better option . now it has slipper clutch and more refined engine.

How about comparing it with dominar 250, i am a owner of dominar 250 2023. Am excited to see such comparison
in a short note i would say if city riding is there, prefer dominar 250. But overall for city there are many good bikes, i just said dominar 250 out of these two choices. if Touring then vstrom anytime.

what about breaking in raining as there is no abs for rain
modes are gimmick, i have been through all weather to be honest, except snow lol

It seems wobbling issue is because of tyre
Wobbling is different, for that you can check my previous videos on apache. And yes ,with change of tyre, you can get rid of this issue. It's with royal Enfield, tvs mainly, due to poor stock parts.
