I owm this bike & clocked around 11k kms in 7 months, and I'm getting 32-33 in complete city mileage and 39-41 in highways when cruising around 90-100kmph, engine is very refined & best for touring in this segment.
12 months and 20k on the odo, only issue is low end torque that can be seen when climbing ghat roads. Plus points are reliability, long distance touring, rider treiangle, stability, ease of maintenance. I did 900km in single day and mostly do 500km per day. There is very very little oil leak in right side head due to head gasket getting slightly melted. Left side pulling is present so hand less drice is not possible. Still its stable. Riders less than 5.8 dont get because one fine day with full load and a pillion, on a slope after a hard days ride, the bike will fall. Short riders can definittly manage but one fine day bike will fall.
Mera vstrom 250 with 80 to 100 speed mai 40 aa raha hai aur banglore city traffic mai 35 ka aa raha hai.did mild to moderate offloading and the bike is damn good.
I own a suzuki gixxer sf and I must say, Suzuki only cares about selling scooters in India; they are least bothered about the motorcycles. They make good and reliable motorcycles, but their aftersales service is not at all satisfactory. I have never faced any issues with spare parts though, spare parts are usually available in metro cities.
Hlo sir I was waiting for your review on this bike for long time I saw you were riding with Digvijay sir you both are my true biker ideal I own this bike for 10 months and i loved it Thanks for sharing your views on V strom 250
A Great Review By Bulu Sir and a major point which he stated that it's better on Highway than the Scrambler 400x. I am a VStrom Owner and really enjoy my ride on my Yellow VStrom.
Bought this bike in June 12th, have completed a 1400km round trip on her. Absolute mile muncher extremely comfortable seat while not a off roader but with a pillion it can go over speed breakers and broken terrain much easier. Definitely a great purchase. Love the tiers. I also got avg 38 through the trip tho I did ride around 90 most of the time.
I clocked 22k km on odo on this motorcycle, it still feels great. Minimum buzz, quality engine, great refinement, did cruise continuously at 130kmph on solapur road, forget entine heating, most of the parts cost less, efficient fuel economy, can go till 10rpm. Drawbacks are won’t get pampered service experience, needs handlebar risers, personally don’t like tail light looks, finding certain parts are hard, light throw is minimal aux lights mandatory for highway, worst bluetooth app functionality not much to complain about tbh.
As an owner of bike, I can say this my two years experience you will never regret owning this bike. This bike can do 90% of the things which we do in our regular life. The mileage and maintenance is the deal breaker I am getting around 42-43 in regular ride and on open highway I used ride in between 70-90 so I am easily getting around 45. The maintenance is very pocket friendly almost half than the ktm adv 250 and marginally less than xpulse also.
Hey Bulu, Nice that you finally posted your views on this bike. I just recently bought it and I'm very happy & satisfied with it. You're right, it's an "Adv Tourer". Agree about the fuel tank capacity, though. A slightly larger tank would've been ideal. But as you said, you can't beat Japanese reliability, for sure along with the engine refinement. Thanks for this!! Ride safe & tc!
Proud owner of this bike.. the facts that this bike attracts lots of eyes on road is very true, people doesn't hesitate to drool their eyes over my bike as I pass them on roads.. one of the reasons is due to the rarity of this bike on roads.
Thank u bulu bhai... I'm waiting for this review from a very long time ago... As I'm an owner of Vstrom SX250.... Im totally agree with ur review... Yes it's not build for off road.... But feels very good whenever I ride my bike in highways ... Big bike feel leni hai or budget jyada nahi toh u can go for Vstrom Sx 250❤️
3:50 I beg to differ. This 250cc engine is crippled with issues, which crops up later, it has balancer issues which suzuki made a recall on just 199 however, more are affected. Suzuki is trying to brush it off. I am very disappointed on suzuki service

Spot on review sir. I own a v-strom 250 and it’s been almost 2 years riding it. I agree with you 100%. As you said after 130kmph or 7000rpm the engine starts to vibrate a lot. But I would like to differ with you on one thing and it would be mileage, you see i have ridden it in the city and on highways and have taken it off road as well but i only ever got the lowest mileage was 27 kmpl and that was before the 1st service was done. This is just my experience sir, please don’t take it as a jab to you😅. And about the gears, they are still hard to shift even after 15k kms😂.
Absolutely brother u r correct, even these bikes were new nkt much ridden so may be after 2nd service or so the efficiency will be better, btw my 26-27kms mileage was only when I rode real fast for the whole day
Mileage will fall down to 22-25 if ridden @130-140. I have Gixxer 250 and noticed it. For a city like bangalore, and other normal highway cruising, mileage doesn't fall below 29 and averages at 37kmpl.
Bulu bhai is a very good and genuine reviewer but there are few things i want to clear : I own a VStrom 250 since last 21 months. Last Jan i did Mumbai - Indore - Ujjain - Mumbai around 1800 kms approx my speed was bt 90 to 110 80% of the ride. I got an average of 41kmpl and its almost correct aft calculating in terms of Money i spent on petrol. Even in mumbai traffic i get around 35 to 37 always. And i think who rides 130/135 the whole day for a long ride, its good to ride for few minutes to enjoy. Very high speeds actually is very very unsafe for our Indian roads,90/100 is enough. About Power,it is enough for a 250 cc engine. If you want more power go for higher CC bike. And the bike is purely meant for 80/85% long rides with a good comfort and 10/15% for mild off road. I don't know why everyone compares it with heavy offroad bikes.
Agree with you completely..I have ridden 30k km in last 18 months..got 40 kmpl milage almost every time.. no gear shifting need in low speed when you are in traffic. And honestly I did a lot of off-road rides. I didn't face that much problems.
Which one is better bullu bhai, I loved Vstorm and Yezdi Scrambler. Mostly drive in Bengaluru city and on Mysore/ooty weekend rides. Not really a hardcore off-roader. Want something that super fun to ride bike and shortlisted these after trying all the bikes I aspired to buy.
I agree with most points 👉 especially about the hard gear-shifting since i have the old Gixxer 155 2017 version carburetted 😎. That cat is scary 😂, i have had problems of false neutrals in it while putting it into 2nd gear out of nowhere 😅. The gearbox is hard and notchy even when the bike has done 24.5k kms . Its a Suzuki gixxer character now , can't change it. But the engines are refined, raw and reliable low maintainence beast . The 155 or 250cc bikes are more about midrange actually with a decent topend since they are air-cooled and oilcooled properly. But yes the oil-cooled engine is unique in 250-450cc segment with oilcooling jacket with external oilcooler and a radiator fan to cool down the engine further real fast. And that's the reason why its so expensive compared to other bikes in around its segment. Its sophisticated adavanced oil cooling sets it apart from the competition. And yes the quality is great on Suzuki gixxer series and V-strom 250 models in India that's why they are a little expensive over competition.
I own a vstrom. It linearly accelerates upto 110 and starts slowing after but can go relatively linearly upto 120-125. I have also ridden xpulse on highways. The major difference apart from power is that after the speed of 85 kmph in xpulse it feels like the wheels are leaving the ground. like even if you want to take a turn and move the handle right, the bike will keep going straight as the wheels are in the air type feeling due to softer suspension. baanki vstrom is an excellent starter tourer but after a year you will start feeling that it is slightly underpowered
@@aakashm.2495 If you are a highway rider and long tourer and want some offroad features and bad patches, do not think twice. xpulse is nowhere close to vstrom if you can let go of extreme offroad requirements. and yes you can do more than enough off roading for a casual rider. only go for xpulse if you do off roading for passion else no advantages. rest is your choice
@@aakashm.2495xpulse I have I love this bike but it's seat is narrow so not too much comfortable for long ride , and for pillion it's uncomfortable even in 30 min ride. But overall I've done 8k so far and bike is good and light and amazing for off road. In highways power feels lacking a bit.
fuel economy i get on highway cruising between 80-100 i get 42-45, and hard riding i get 38, i calculate tank to tank method and i ride 70 km on highway every day since past 8 months

Hello bulu sir. I have a questions regarding CFMoto bikes. Do you have any experience with their bikes? I am hoping to get the CFMoto 450 MT once it launches in india (in case it launches at all). I am considering the 450 MT because I want a touring motorcycle with some off-road capability with relatively low seat height (since I'm on the shorter side). I've heard the seat height on it is 820mm and it goes all the way down to 800mm when lowerd. I've rode the new Himalyan 450 but that is too heavy for me. KTM Adventure bikes seem like a decent pick but the seat height on those is absurdly high. Is there any other options that I should consider according to you?
We been riding since from one 15months n rode 28k KM, suspension is hard n starter many times getting malfunction. Bt overall compared to other bikes in this section it's really good one.

Buddy, pls comment on Baj Tri scrambler x 400 ( with updated brake pads) Vs R E Guerilla For 40 km daily city And 300 km wkened rides Minor and insignificant off roading. But plenty of bad city and highway roads.
Hello Bulu.. Hows this bike for long rides with pillion n with some luggage? Is it good ? Does it lack power if i ride with pillion n with some luggage ?
Hi Bulu, wanted your guidance here as confused between 3 bikes for daily city commute and weekend Ride purposes. 1. Hiness 350 2. Vstorm 250 3. KTM 25O adv Which should i purchase as avr is alomst similar of three of them.1 is cruiser and other 2 is adv. Pls suggest. Thanks
Bulu bhai, What do you think of Pulsar F250, in comparison with V-Strom 250 ? It is cheaper, has similar highway ability, Ground clearance is less (but experienced riders can do with that much, i guess), Spare parts availability is better than Suzuki.
Pulsar f250 is suitable for city rides and short highway rides, meanwhile Suzuki is suitable for city and long Highway rides. bajaj offers good service and parts availability. And Suzuki offers everything bajaj doesn't
Recently i bought this bike bfr 3 months onky for long stretch & yes its so comfortable & i disagree with bulu bhai abt its avg. I got 45+ kmpl in 80 cruise & 30+ in city
@Bulu Pattnaik bhai... Honda CB 300F and Suzuki V-Strom 250x inn dono me TOURER ke liye best kaunsa hoga? Which one would go a point ahead in High End Performance? Not too much off-roading and pillion comfort is a must. Which one would you suggest?
Bulu bhai..just 1 more thing..Should i consider Yezdi Adventure..Mere budget me woh bhi ek option hai..! Uska stalling issue hai padha hai across comment sections...Kindly revert.
The major thing that is missing here is Slipper clutch which you find nowadays in 150 CC as well. I am looking for a bike that has comfortable riding ergonomics and decent power on highway rides. Can we consider this or Yezdi Adv 2024 latest model? Which is the better option ?I own an Interceptor 650 and lm not happy with riding ergonomics and maintenance cost. I would like to know your opinion on that

@@BuluBiker Bhaiya thank you so much for your fast response, I never expected so fast response. I want your suggestion in buying the speed or vstorm? Since in scrambler I think it would be a problem while doing spiti ride in crossing river as you would be more comfortable if you can plant foot even half and in arunachal ghats during winter as bike would tend to slip more so need foot to plant to control that or else will fall. What is your view on this? I can almost plant both feet in speed 400, but haven't tried my hands on vstorm yet. Only reason for considering vstorm is for its touring capabilities, mileage and more ground clearance. What is your view on this?

The major difference apart from power is that after the speed of 85 kmph in xpulse it feels like the wheels are leaving the ground. like even if you want to take a turn and move the handle right, the bike will keep going straight as the wheels are in the air type feeling due to softer suspension. baanki vstrom is an excellent starter tourer but after a year you will start feeling that it is slightly underpowered
Hey, is it worth to spend 40k on Vstorm over Xpulse? Comfort is my priority
How is the seat comfort for highway cruising?
@@Indranil_b best in range. however there is a resonant frequency that kicks in at 104 kmph and goes away after 109 kmph approx
@@aakashm.2495xpulse I have I love this bike but it's seat is narrow so not too much comfortable for long ride , and for pillion it's uncomfortable even in 30 min ride.
But overall I've done 8k so far and bike is good and light and amazing for off road.
In highways power feels lacking a bit.
definiton of offroad might be different for everyone , just add another point if is suitable for ladakh/spiti
Your video is nicely presented 😊
Nice review sir
Love from MARS....
Special love to you Bulu bhai for Kannada love ❤️

How is the uphill ride capacity with a pillion ??
Dhanywaad sir confusion tha ktm or V Strom m wow thora bht dur ho gya.
i am using 2024 model geting 40 kmpl in 80 to 90 speed.. in city getting 35 to 37 kmpl.. very good for long drives...
fuel economy i get on highway cruising between 80-100 i get 42-45, and hard riding i get 38, i calculate tank to tank method and i ride 70 km on highway every day since past 8 months
Had been waiting for your review on this bike since many months 😢
@BuluBiker Bhai aap k Bangalore me on road thoda zyada hai shayad.. maine abhi 1 month pehle Mumbai me liya.. Bike exchange offer me to mujhe 2.30 lakhs pada (without jacket).. aur mujhe pehle hi pata tha k iska suspension hard hai fir bhi maine liya kyu k mujhe bas highway touring k liye chahiye tha.. aur bhai mai 70-80 km tak max bhagata hu kyu k usually biwi aur bachi k saath ghoomta hu.. to mere liye kaafi acha purchase raha hai considering 2.30 price.. aap k review ki har ek baat maine experience kiya hu.,. excellent review :)
Bulu bhai.. Please do a review on new YEZDI ADVENTURE 2024... Nua asichi.. Please tike ride review apana future diyantu sei bike upare 😊
Hi, I am confused between suzuki Vstrom and Yezdi Adventure....? Please can you help me out.
This is a beautiful machine..offroading means extreme offroading nahi hoga but spiti ladakh wala circuit aram se kr skte hain..
I done 15k with My 250 SX.... Very Very happy with it... 2 years completed and I can easily do another 2 years with this smooth bike...
Suspension stiff hone se offroad me dikkat hoti ha..?
@@oporajitoD yes... This is not off road bike... You can do better off roading than normal two wheeler... Best in high way and touring... It not easily get hot, so in traffic, touring is super easy with this...
Bulu Bhau.. can you please compare this with the updated Yezdi Adventure that's launched recently.. which one would you recommend.. 70 %city 30% off-road/trails
Bro don’t purchase jawa & yezdi bikes.. third class build quality h.. maintenance cost and fuel cost is almost similar in these shit bikes..
@@chandantiwarit-2858 Thanks for the opinion 🙏
How was the stock windshield?
@@hiteshts stock windshield is fine it will cover just below of you helmet. Otherwise it's good but if you are getting an after market windshield that would be great 👍
I want to visit leh ladakh which bike is the best, V strome or xpulse ??
Bulu bhai.. very good review. Can you please post a review on yezdi roadster. Actually I am looking for a city commute as well as tour bike.
Sir please review YEZDI ADVENTURE...
I have xpulse 200 , i need to upgrade
Bulu Bhai, I have honda cb300r since 2022 but so far only ridden as a single rider. Planning to do tours with pillion now. Can you please suggest if I should go for some seat modifications on this or should I switch to some other bike?
I like the refined honda engine, the bike's ability to pull in any gear & it's reliability a lot .. not able to make a decision. Your guidance will be very helpful. Thanks.. @BuluBiker A big fan of your content ❤
Which one is more reliable? Scrambler X or this?
Hi sir, when we can expect update in V strome 250, If you have any idea ?
Bro, Im confused between storm and NS400z.
Requirements :
Office ride - 10kms
Weekend drive - 5ookms
Reliable engine
Low maintance
Good response till 1oo km/hr
Max speed 100 - 120 in highway
Present vehicle access.
Budget 3 lakhs
Dominar250 vs vstrom sx250 kaun sa behtor hei?
ಅಲೆಮಾರಿ Bulu👍👍👍
We been riding since from one 15months n rode 28k KM, suspension is hard n starter many times getting malfunction. Bt overall compared to other bikes in this section it's really good one.
How long does the chain sprocket last on this bike??
@@motohead4566 we changed 2 times till date, so if we well maintained it will last for 12 to 14 thousand km
@@Motoenthusiast-c8j thanks for the info, even my bike's chain sprocket has to be replaced, currently running at 14.5k kms, just wanted to know if the running distance for replacement is right...
Buddy, pls comment on
Baj Tri scrambler x 400
( with updated brake pads)
Vs
R E Guerilla
For 40 km daily city
And
300 km wkened rides
Minor and insignificant off roading.
But plenty of bad city and highway roads.
Can You help me with how we can access to get a test ride from suzuki, homda ect.
Hello Bulu..
Hows this bike for long rides with pillion n with some luggage? Is it good ? Does it lack power if i ride with pillion n with some luggage ?
Sound 100 %clear mic nice
Hi Bulu, wanted your guidance here as confused between 3 bikes for daily city commute and weekend Ride purposes.
1. Hiness 350
2. Vstorm 250
3. KTM 25O adv
Which should i purchase as avr is alomst similar of three of them.1 is cruiser and other 2 is adv.
Pls suggest. Thanks
Go for Ktm 250 adv
sir kaya iss bike ka update version aa raha hai? please use your sources and answers my comment 🙏
Sir how is Dominor250 compare to vstrom 250?
Very accurate review of Vstrom250 👍👍👍
Is it good for 5.5-5.4 height person??
I got a defective one, (engine noise issue in 20 days)
They asked for time till today for any resolution.
Pls help me if I don't get resolution
After all finally 🎉
Is it good for city ride ?
Recently i bought this bike bfr 3 months onky for long stretch & yes its so comfortable & i disagree with bulu bhai abt its avg. I got 45+ kmpl in 80 cruise & 30+ in city
Looks good and engine is smooth BUT underpowered with pillion, no 6th gear and most imp the hard suspension makes it a bad choice
6th Gear is there. Hard suspension- Yes, Underpowered with pillion- Yes. I have Gixxer 250
Eyes closed Suzuki Vstrom 250, 300F is total waste in front of this
@BuluBiker wow Thanks for the firm opinion. But why a waste bhai...the specifications and price are so tempting..!
@ te suspension r really bad on 300f bro, n since its not selling in big numbers, kya patha kab discontinue ho jaye
@@BuluBikerThanks a lot bhai...will go for VStrom coming December.!
Bulu bhai..just 1 more thing..Should i consider Yezdi Adventure..Mere budget me woh bhi ek option hai..! Uska stalling issue hai padha hai across comment sections...Kindly revert.
Please talk about the seat height of this bike, did you use the standard seat or the lower height seat?
Standrad seat was fine for me, but may be because I m used to tall bikes, u can take a test ride n check for urself
Standrad seat was fine for me, but may be because I m used to tall bikes, u can take a test ride n check for urself
I would like to know your opinion on that
hows vstrom for city?
Ns400z kesa bike h bhai
Bulu bhai bahut din k bat 1 comment here again!

Bro . I've been riding duke 200 since 12 years and now i want to switch to something more comfortable to ride with pillion but with good handling.can you please suggest
Vstorm it is.. i have it me and my brother did 1k in a strech... spacious and powerful

@@karma6762 scramblers suspensions r the beet in segment bro vstorm suspensions no match to scrambler plus scrambler is more powerful too... I will always pick the scrambler
Bulu sir mene yeh bike last week he purchase ki hai 235000 with 10 year engine and meter extended warranty and Suzuki riding Jacket free
Can you compare Suzuki V Strom 250 with BMW 310GS
I am about to purchase v strom sx, can we change the console to tft?
Did you bought?
Yes I have purchased one month back
