This E Bike is packed full of great features and well made. It has a powerful 750 Watt Motor, 48V 15Ah Battery and 7 Levels of pedal assist that will take you up to 60 miles on a single charge. In this video I take it for a long ride, testing it on dirt trails, roads and beach bike path. I tested all the different levels of pedal assist 0-7 and also pedaled without any Electric assist. It has a Shimano 7 speed gear system that helps out a lot with hill climbing and easy to ride without the battery. The twist throttle makes it feel like a motor cycle. It is a level 2 E-bike with a max speed of 20 MPH. I put 31.6 miles in this video testing all the features and using the throttle only on the last 14.1 miles of my journey. I took the battery down to zero bars but it just kept going and I made it home without having to pedal. Lol! The HiPeak Elias is one of my favorite bikes I have reviewed and well worth adding to your list of bikes when looking to select the perfect electric bike for you.

supposedy theres a way to increase the top speed to 25mph thru the settings mode. Maybe it would map out the peddle assist levels differently. Really been looking at ebikes lately.
I have already changed the speed but I didn't want to take on any liabilities showing people how; so for the video I left it alone. Now for personal use, in pedal assist 6 I cruise at 22mph without feeling it being governed and pedal assist 7 I feel it governed when it goes above 25mph. I road it 8 Miles all throttle to the Farmers Market and another 8 Miles back all throttle and in 16 miles total I still had 3 bars out of 5 bars on the battery. I will keep this one for sure, I ordered a childs seat for the cargo rack so I can give my Grandsons rides. So much fun!

Did you put it at maximum height of 6’3”? Or how tall are you? I’m thinking about purchasing this for my husband.
My friend is 6'5" and he had no problem riding the HiPeak Elias. It really is a great bike.

How many miles can you get before the battery dies?
I am a big guy 275lbs, I went 36 miles and still had a little battery left when I got home. I ran electric alone a lot but the ride home I got nervous but I made it.
@@funwithjim would the highest level of pedal assist give you better mile range than throttle only?

On the website it states "Recommended Rider Height 4'10" ~ 6'2" " So Yes!

@@funwithjim Hipeak must of updated their recommended rider height because now it shows 5'3" to 6'3". I really like this bike but my daughter is 4'10"..
