Dante's Down the Hatch (kickstarter)

Dantes Down the hatch was an amazing landmark restaurant in Atlanta Georgia that after 43 years shut its doors forever. It housed a two story pirate ship with live crocodiles swimming in a moat around it, there was live jazz to listen to 6 nights a week while you enjoyed a fondue dinner. Dante is a crazy character, being one of this nations first navy seals he traveled the world and smashed together everything he loves into one nautical theme that wowed people from all over the world. This documentary is about the closing of an era and saying goodbye to a part of Atlanta's history. Check out the trailer and the Kickstarter page.

I really hated to hear that Dante's Down The Hatch closed... It truly was a landmark of Atlanta and it disheartens me that I will never be able to take my children to experience the aura, mystique and ambience that Dante's gave to the public. It truly was a one of a kind place that will never be able to be recreated...thanks for memorializing this restaurant with your documentary!
