It’s not a perfect solution but sinytra’s connector lets you play a good chunk of fabric mods on forge, and forge already has a lot of ports for performance mods like sodium -> embedding or nvidium -> acedium. my recommendation would be to use the performance mods that are ported to forge using the forge mod loader, and primarily forge mods for content and then supplement it with fabric content mods that mainly add blocks/mobs using the sinytra connector mod
@@Codee_ Exactly what I'm doing with my 1.20.1 mod pack, and I like the result so far. Been actually wanting to switch to Fabric, but now I'm not sure if it'll ever happen, at all.
If you play with the Aether, you should also install some addons like Lost Content and Deep Aether that bring it up to par with the 1.16 Nether. The base Aether mod, while good, is surprisingly lacking compared to the new Nether and the addons really improve things.
I’m making a vanilla style RPG mod pack on forge, so I love this video and want a part 2!! Also a video showing RPG style mods would be great. I know it’s not likely, but the old mod doggy talents has had some updates. It’d be great if you could review it.
ABSOLUTELY make a part 2 ! The bloating of modpack going in every direction is what made me quit modded minecraft . The collection that you have shown us is great and make me want to start my own modpack for a multiplayer server with friends .
Loved the video @Noxusmods! Can't wait for the next video man! Naturalist, Ecologics, Ben's Sharks, Aquatic Upgrade, Friends and Foes, Dixta's Armory, Dragon Mounts: Legacy, Deeper and Darker, Macaw's Furniture, Farmer's Delight, The Aether and Supplementaries are Mods that I'd definitely put on as part of a Mod Pack along with Mods like Create, Valkyrien Skies, Towns and Towers, Tectonic, Terralith, Biomes O Plenty and even mods like Talhanation's Recruit Villagers, Villager Workers and Small Ships Mods. I found the Mod List for the X-Life SMP Server on the Fandom and I was wondering what you think about the Patty's More Armor, Patty's More Tools and Patty's More Stuff Mods. I like the Armor and Tools Mods because you can make Armor From Redstone, Obsidian, Nether Stars and Ender Pearls (The Last Two being the Strongest in the Mod) and you get the Excavator and the Hammer (Respectively, a Shovel and a Pickaxe that Mines a 3 by 3 Area) with the Same Materials as the Armor. Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man!
Actually, some of the Naturalist footage is from the Bedrock addon. Java and Bedrock have different elephant models. I personally prefer how it looks on Bedrock.
I would recommend “Bad Mobs” to manually make hostile mobs stop, “Cold Sweat” and “Thirst Was Remade” for Temperature and Thirst. “Untamed Wilds” adds some cool new wild, real creatures like bears and big cats. Then “Serene Seasons” add the four seasons, primarily for winter. I would also recommend “Create”and “Farmer’s Delight” as well as any building/QOL/performance mods you want.
Autumnity is nice but I wish it was compatible with more worldgen mods. I'm running a pack with Let's Do Blooming Nature, Natural Decor, and Croptopia, and so the Autumnity biome stands out as being notably sparse. :/
Now if only they could update the Aether 2 for later versions. So much more to do in it and the base game is very bland compared to more recent vanilla features.
I'm not able to play Minecraft because every time I try to play I end up opening 1000 browser tabs trying to get my Vanilla++ modpack working. Then I come back a year or two later and everything has changed, so I have to restart the project. I don't have enough free time to get a modpack together because it takes hundreds of hours. I've tried playing the popular modpacks on Curseforge like Better MC but I dislike them because they make so many reckless decisions to ruin the vanilla game. I.e. you'll spawn into a new world and be surrounded by something random like a bunch of cheesy Illager towers next to a massive temple. They lack in understanding of rarity distribution for vanilla balancing. I've never found a vanilla modpack that is high quality enough. There's some acceptable packs but they're basic and they don't add much. I don't want a minimal modpack, I want something that masterfully integrates many pieces.
In all honesty, I think the Better Combat Mod is quite Vanilla Friendly, when compared to... say... the Epic Fight Mod. I love the idea of adding new Weapons to Minecraft, but a lot of people (myself included) would really love some better improvements to Minecraft's Combat System. Not only that, but I would like some vanilla friendly improvements to Minecraft's Vanilla Bosses that also provide some more interesting challenges. I'm gonna be frank, the Vanilla Bosses like the Ender Dragon and the Wither are not really as challenging as they were when they were released in the first place. I hope there are mods that provide said improvements that remain Vanilla Friendly.
hi I'm Robert I'm using my mom's phone right now. I'm canfoused if Mojang didn't add the glair then what was that mob vote winner cuz I don't remember.😔
1.20.1 is modern 1.7.10 1.21.1 is modern mainstream right now and 1.22 the End update will be our modern 1.12.2 If you all understand what I mean, if not just ignore me
Sucks that most mods are still on 1.20.1 instead of 1.21.1. I want to explore the trial chambers with integrations from mods, instead of just a backport.
@@DracuNightmare There is, that's what I'm saying. Other mods on 1.21 interact with the chambers, but they wouldn't on 1.20 with the backported trials from a mod.
1.21 changed some code stuff I think? It's gonna take a bit for mods to port over, and a decent few might never port over, till someone else does it for them of course
The swamp golem boss for that one "beneath the swamp" mod looks so amazing, between the mechanical animations & the axolotl head model.
Farmer's delight have fabric edition as well 🤝🏻
Please make a part 2! I love watching mod showcases, and i play on a vanilla style modpack, so it's always nice finding new stuff to add!
you can search for new mods in vanilla style on curseforge/modrinth on your own
The modloaders split is ruining minecraft. Literally impossible to choose one without giving up on either mods or better performance
It's a failure on Mojang's part for never implementing any official modding API or platform in my opinion.
You just gotta play on multiple different worlds lol

Nice showcase 🙌 a lot of these are essential for any modpack
Hope there will be a mod someday that lets u play both forge and fabric mods at the same time

Incredible video and mods!!!!

Also, the Java version hasn’t been updated in ten months, so it’s safe to assume that it’s been abandoned in favor of the pay-to-play version.
Fyi, when using Copper Pipes, using the fitting block at corners will keep the items from falling out
Please, made part 2

Friend and Foew is cool mod you almost have 2 year playing and enjoying .

team abnormal's mods are being updated to 1.20.1 ??? I am so happy 😢
i really need a realistic survival modpack, without monsters. just animals and hunger and freezing and such
