@@WalkOnWheels_ How tall are you? My only fear is being too tall and looking a bit goofy. I’m 6’2”. I would go sit on one but there isn’t any available at any of the dealers near me.
@Castrati007 honestly you should go sit on one. I'm one inch taller than you and it is too small for me unfortunately. Honda does offer the xr150 for a similar price and might be a good one to look at if the grom is too small. The xr150 is an all sport so it's a little taller.
@@ryanwhitfield100 I’ve been meaning to. I just haven’t had one available near me in the past two years or so. If the grom doesn’t work out I’ll probably just go for a CRF300. I just enjoy the idea of the grom being so nimble and it’s capabilities of going anywhere and everywhere
Almost 11000km / 6850miles on my 2016 grom, never had any issues, even though I wheeled it a lot during the first few years of my 8 years ownership. Just an oil change once a year, fresh brake fluid every two years and a valve adjustment every now and then. Awesome bike for a short and chill after work ride!
Honda makes some amazing stuff for good prices! Just got a CRF300L rally, and I'm in love with it. Your channel makes me want to do a video blog on it the way you do. Seems fun
Groms are just great, great to start on if you consider going into riding more and do the course etc. It is really a great "get acquinted to riding and see if it's something you would enjoy" bike but also as to have next to another bike for various reasons. Easy to ride, cheap, good on gas and parts, easy for people to get on and learn and then decide and heck maybe even an apocalypse proof little bike. 😆
Wasn't my first pick never crossed my mind till I start looking then ended up going for this for a commute 10 mins to work right down the road from me and learn and then upgrade to z500
Hondas been making that engine in various displacements since the 60s. They dont get more bullet prof than that thing. If it runs for 100 miles it'll run for 50k miles with basic maintenance. Groms are stupid fun. I'm 58 and have several bigger bikes, but the 2 Groms I have (had to get a 2nd one or I never get to ride one) are the ones people always wanna ride.
@@WalkOnWheels_ If you can do it its a great idea. I've had as much fun or more goofing around town on those with a friend or two as I've had doing anything else in motorcycling lol.
ima see ima see if i can get a 125 x pro dirtbike so i can practice on something ima get the one where you have to change gears manually so i can get used to it

Your videos have convinced me to get a grom as my first bike. I can’t wait to watch and see what you think!!
Grom is a good choice for your first without a doubt

That'll definitely be a good play/choice. 😆
Finally picked up my grom today its my first motorcycle and i almost looped it lol
Take it slow lol most of all stay safe tho!

My commute is about 10 min as well and it’s perfect I save $100 a month

You should make a video on your motovlog/helmet setup
I have an old one but it’s about due for another one

Yea getting the gears down is the hardest part but it transfers once u get it down.
any way to make the grom faster?👀
Sell it
@@WalkOnWheels_😂😂
300 swap
Aye! You should watch the new Deadpool movie and give us a review while riding
Not a bad idea everyone says it’s really good
"maybe $500 bux" so ... a huge % of the total cost of the bike
I have the cost of the bike in mods I feel like 😂
