Netflix made a giant move up the other day and it moved up ALL DAY with no sign of turning around. It was up up and away. Of course, I didn't trade that day, it's all right but I can go ahead and talk about this: it is very discouraging for me. Maybe you guys feel the same exact way. To not trade one day when a giant move happens and there was a great opportunity. It's very frustrating because I know my strategy would have told me to get in and it would have been such an easy day but unfortunately I didn't trade so here I am a bit irritated.
Tips on Trading a Sideways Day:
1. Continue to use your strategy in case it makes a move
2. If you've made too many trades disengage for the day
3. Or avoid sideways days altogether if you can
Ever find yourself getting very discouraged after seeing a big move happen on a day you did not trade? Well, you're not alone! I feel the same exact way and I'm not sure how to avoid feeling that way yet.

I had never traded stocks. I started off with Forex market for 6 years and saw that I wasn't getting anywhere with this market so on Aug 2020 I switch to Futures market. I'm still learning...

I'm learning Forex and Futures (Demo trading) and the FX pairs that i trade have been moving sideways all summer so there isnt any opportunity to make money right now and grow my account in that market which sucks but as they say a sideways market is what kills trend traders.
And thanks for posting I enjoy watching your videos and listening to your experiences with trading.

Tradestation feature the reverse.. is basically making people more gambler and staying looking at the chart.. Well Played
Do they charge for that feature to go short from long?
Sideways trading days suck even more with options trading 😢

It's funny, I trade crypto, and I made a decision not to trade sideways days a while back. Sadly, that usually means Saturday which is the day I'm most available to put in more effort.
