"We're Gonna Win Twins" is the fight song for the Minnesota Twins, played when the team takes the field before any home game. It has been used since the team moved to Minnesota in 1961.
"We're Gonna Win Twins" is a collaboration between Ray Charles and Dick Wilson. Wilson, an advertising executive and jingle writer, composed the music. The Twins bought the rights to the song from advertising agency Campbell Mithun for one dollar. The team asked Charles to revise the lyrics. The singers are Kathy Mueller, Scott Nelson, Steve McCloon, and Mary Jane Alm. The only lyrics change from the 1960s to the present was the change of the line "crack out a home run" to "knock out a home run" during the 1980s.

I think it is always cool when they play this song nowadays at a Twins game.

I've been a Twins fan for a long time. since I was a kid in the early 60s actually. Watched them lose the 1965 series to the Dodgers on TV and was actually at the final two games of the 1987 series against St. Louis. The Twins are one of baseball's great teams with a tradition going all the way back to Clark Griffith and the Washington Senators in the early 1900s. This 1980s disco sounding rendition of the Twins song sorta bites though.

This isn't the original song - this a sort of disco-ish 1980's version of it. The original song from the Killebrew, Oliva, Kaat, etc eara was better. Long live the Hamm's Bear.
This was the version used in 1991-2000. They have been using the 1984-1991 again version since 2001.
