Yooheon's cover was by Stella Jang, a Korean singer who was educated in France when she moved there as a young teenager. Gahyeon covered another of her songs, Vanishing Paycheck, so she's well known to Dreamcatcher. I'm really happy to see that the company is showcasing the members talents as solo vocalists. This is their future. It was always going to be Siyeon and Yoohyeon, but Sua has come out so strong. Keep your eye on the sparrow.
This is for those Somnies who don't know about MyMusicTaste. They are running a promotion for Dreamcatcher's current tour. If people in any city in the world buy 777 units of a small merch package from MyMusicTaste, then Dreamcatcher will hold a concert in that city. Brilliant idea to measure fan support. Taipei in Taiwan was the first city added to the tour. Dreamcatcher are very popular in Taiwan since it's where they won their first major award in 2020, the Top 10 Asia award for Best Global Artist. So if you want Dreamcatcher to come to your city you know what to do. The tour is open ended.
Many are upset by this as a big money grab ($70 + high shipping costs, when it's already difficult for some to save for attending concerts) under the guise of gathering demographics they should already have or can be provided for free, with no actual guarantee that enough will be sold to have a concert in your area or even if enough is sold (due to MMT history with that sort of thing - concetes owed but never happened), thus it's widely spread (at least on Twitter) to boycot MyMusicTaste in this campaign.
I mean you could participate all you want but don’t get yourself fool… there is no guarantee that they will they coming to your country no matter how much fans buy the merch. MMT have lot of ways of knowing where to hold a concert and measure things without having to hold any of these things lmao Taiwan was 100% already in plans and booked before the event, there is no way that they make it happen in a couple of weeks just bc they saw people buying merch. To summarize is a way of making money for them, but won’t guarantee any concert and they probably have already plan the tour places so is useless if you want them to come to your country
