Im from western Germany. 200km till the border too france. Last year i was on week in southern france, 100km away from monte ventu, france is just awesome for riding. No traffic and trouble. i will enjoy ur roadtrip.
one of the best videos on YT on Yamaha XT660X. You ride it like a Supermoto not like a Touring Bike. Fucking awesome ...now a wont this bike too!

Thanks! Shitty tires^^ Front is a crappy michelin pilot road, rear is slightly better, michelin pilot power. Surprisingly I've never lost the front wheel, but the rear is losing grip pretty often if I really put myself into it ;)

It's in the comments below :) That day I was riding with michelin pilot road 2 on the front, michelin pilot power on the rear. I don't really recommend them for "sporty" riding though, they are good road tyres but if you push it too hard you will find the limits. Surprisingly I never lost the front wheel so I guess pilot road 2 is a decent road tyre! And yeah I loved the bike, although it lacks power and it is quite heavy. But it's a really easy and reliable bike, perfect for roadtrips!

salut a toi, je suis dijonnais ! j'ai tout de suite reconnu la route du lac kir ! je souhaite m'acheter un XTX 660 d'occas', avec les nouveaux permis je suis bridé en 47 cv... est ce suffisant pour s'eclater sur nos route bourguignonne ? je pense aux montée de paques, prenois, corcelles les monts, vallée de l'ouche ou val suzon ... j'ai essayer un sv 650 et meme en 34 cv c'est l'eclate mais le XTX me tente vraiment beaucoup mais j'ai peur d'etre decu ...
La vidéo parle d'elle-même, non ? ;) Regarde les trois premiers épisodes de roadtrip supermoto 2012 si tu es toujours pas convaincu... Difficile de trouver meilleure bécane pour le nouveau permis 47ch

T'es un putain de tueur avec ta 660x mec ! Respect ! Une question : avec la loi sur le bridage a 35 kW tu ne dois donc pas la bridée ? Car je vis en Suisse et cette loi viens de s'appliquer et je compte prendre une 660x egalement ! En tout Nice vidéo !
+Yzeecko J'ai eu cette moto il y a longtemps, avant les 35kW. j'étais censé être en 34ch mais la patte qui bride l'ouverture des gaz au niveau de l'injection était pliée de telle sorte que la moto était en full.
Sinon seules les 660 XTX à partir de 2013 sont homologuées en full pour le A2 à 35kW, celles d'avant doivent être bridées à 34ch
