Back in the 60s morecambe was a regular coach trip for me as a child. I remember being mesmerised when we went on the ship and told that it was the same ship that was in the film Moby Dick and also the ship was used in the film treasure island. It caught fire a few times and I think that’s how the ship met its end. I’m 64 now and Moby dick is still my favourite film.
Just wonderful, lived in Morecambe nearly all my life. If only we could turn back time.🙂
