i think this platform is by far a better one then the b8/b8.5 platform
I wonder if these same mods could be done with a Porche Macan as they have the same motor and weigh 220kgs less than the SQ5, and most likely handle better. That would be amazing.

Is it possible to mod a Q7? The sq7 is out of my budget but I love the size of the q7 in comparison to the sq5 😔 but I love the performance in the sq5 with all the upgrades

Have you thought of getting a MTM rear diffuser with real exhaust tips? They make the rear end look so much better

The previous owner actually lowered it! It’s sitting on KW V3 coilovers all the way around!

I have a stock b9 rs5. I'll eventually go stage 2+ but not sure if I'll ever throw hybrid turbos on. I'd like to get as close to 600 as I can without them
Integrated Engineering is doing some crazy stuff on the dyno with their RS5 right now. You should wait for their tuning calibration to come out. 😉 If you have E85 available you’ll be able to make that power on stage 1+/2+ without any issues.

Hey, I saw your older video's, I'm in the market for a B9 SQ5 aswell and was wondering what mods you had to get to 500hp on stock turbo's, could you provide me with the mods you had and the tuner? All the tuners I can find only promise a 420-450hp figure stage 2.
I wish you could clarify on crank hp or wheel hp. For you to maximize stock turbo performance you will need all bolts-on and the biggest game changer: E85.
Now if you do have E85 readily available:
IE STAGE 2 ECU+TCU (E85)
IE FDS Intercooler
IE Intake
IE Turbo Inlet
CTS Catless or Wagner HFC (SQ5 DOWNPIPE)
APR HPFP (IE’s hpfp will be Available soon, hpfp will maximize your fuel/torque on E85)
This is all you really need to make an approx 450whp or 500+ to the crank depending on your fuel/outside conditions. Even if you don’t have E85 available, all these modifications will help you achieve maximum performance out of your stock turbo.
@@Need4Built We don't get E85 at our pumps in Belgium, we have 98octane E5, 95octane E10 or 95octane E15. Do you think 500 at the crank is possible with any of these fuel types?

You need the upgraded HPFP to provide more fueling for the entire fuel system. The stock Hpfp is very limited.
It’s the first upgrade before injectors.
I wonder if they can tune in rolling antilag like I know iroz does for the rs3s

EPL has/had it. I'm still pissed @ EPL lol, I just need to move on to 034 or IE. After the EPL debacle and all the B9 rocker arm forum/interweb noise I have just not done anything and it sucks.
What he said^^^ they can, EPL tuning which actually closed up shop had it, as far as I know IE and 034 don’t have rolling anti lag IE will probably be the first to let us do it in the future before 034.
@@SquashPile ehh the rocker issue is really rare, how many cara have the 3.0T amongst Porsche and Audi quite a few. Their is a mechanic that has beeb tearing into these Audi’s and he doesn’t approve of the 10k oil changes, plus recommended thicker oil.
Do you daily this? Just wondering if you do daily it, do you fill it up with E70 every time or do you switch the tune back to pump gas all the time? I just got a 2020 SQ5 and I bought all the bolt ons I need for stage 2 and am considering doing stage 3 in the spring. I would keep it on pump gas though. Would it be worth it if you keep it with a 93 tune?? Thanks!
It’s actually my wife’s daily car!! I was on E70 for about 4 months since I went with stage 3+.
Right now I’m back on 93 just because gas efficiency. Can’t wait to get back on E70 for an extra 100whp!
Stage 3+ 93 is WAY faster than even stage 2+ e85. I mean it’s Miles ahead. Yes it’s WORTH IT to go stage 3 even just on pump gas. The difference is huge. I highly recommend it!

Have you had any issues with thermal management especially that you don't have the exhaust pipe and especially and you have the TTE810? I have installed the AWE non-resonating resonating CAT back and I find that droning is very prevalent in 7th and 8th gears.
No problems with thermal management, BUT more cooling isn’t a bad thing.
IE is going to come with a drag spec intercooler so that’s going to increase cooling capacity for the 810. 034 said they’re working on possibly a radiator, auxiliary coolers, oil coolers, for the b9 3.0T to provide more cooling on the street/drag/track for the engine cooling system.
I’m going with a top secret TRUE Catback system VERY SOON, so stayed tuned for that video it’s coming! Currently just with the CTS Catless Downpipe, stock midpipes, ecs tuning res delete, and stock muffler, car sounds like a BEAST. I’ve heard some negativity about the awe setup. I’ll be bringing something new very soon!
@@Need4Built That’s good to know. I’m soooo unhappy about the AWE PIPES. The droning and vibration is almost intolerable tbh. Yea, from all the literatures I’ve read on stage 2, the exhaust pipes are highly recommended; but required? Also, with your installs, the OEM pipes already sounds incredibly awesome. I am seriously considering going back to the original pipes. If I can get the original pipes back, you want mine, if not, you wanna trade? Just a thought. Thanks for all Your updates/response. I went into modding blindly-mea culpa!

I’m not sure, this would depend state to state. WA doesn’t have emissions.
i have an s3 and i get crazzzzzy wheel spin. i dropped my front psi 5 pounds, does better but it’s still really bad😢

How well does this 3.0t handle mods and power compared to say the b58s in the m40s
Well the 3.0T is arguably more reliable and handles power much better, including a more beefed up ZF8 transmission. B58 is no slouch on the other hand. BUT…
M40I’s haven’t even come close to what an SQ5 can do. I think the SQ5’s have a better power/weight ratio? Either way I don’t think anyone has really pushed the M40I’s at all.
If you pick a B9 S4+TTE810 vs M240I+Pure800… they run the same times basically 60-130 and in the 1/4 mile. Very close. Like I said only argument is how well the 3.0T can outperform the b58 will less mods/support, and overall reliability long term at these power levels. (600+whp)

Yes. 810 makes more power on pump gas and top end on ethanol.

Everyone does know the fastest B8 SQ5 is a 10.9 @126...right? Not hating, love Audis and the sq5 platform, but apples to apples, I expect the b9 to be mid 10's

Also, 4700 lbs isn't that heavy for a suv. Actually, the rs6 is heavier, for example. Your sq5 is as fast as a cyanne turbo gt is stock
Aren't SQ5's 4300lbs? How did you add 400lbs to it
Audi claims 4300lbs from the factory as a dry (curb) weight number. This means there are ZERO fluids in the car. No oil, no gas, no coolant, etc. So let’s do the math.
4310lbs-Dry weight
Gas tank- 18.5 gallons, 18x8.3lbs (per gallon)= 153lbs
Driver-180lbs
Carseat, stroller, other accessories in the car+approx weight of other fluids=70lbs
4300lbs+150lbs+180lbs+70lbs= APPROX 4700 pounds. This is the actual weight of the car with driver. That’s what important. Especially when it comes to drag racing. I imagine some SQ5’s might be heavier with a tow hitch, roof bars+roof box. Etc.
@@Need4Built dry weight and curb weight are two different things. Curb weight includes fluids to operate and a full tank of gas. I weighed my S4 and it was nearly identical to the advertised curb weight Audi reports. I would imagine the same applies to the SQ5

Absolutely. 034 J style Lightweight rotors and Hawks HPS 5.0 brakes all around.

@@emricscriven6886 Amax is a programming coded into the B9 ZF8 transmission. It’s basically called maximum acceleration. The transmission shifts so fast, there’s no fart.
