I had a F80, this happened to me twice plus someone shoved a broken blade in the rear tire at my old job. People are haters, someone definitely hating on you bro. Stay up.
1) never drive on the shoulder of the road / hwy 2) try to avoid any roads near construction zones. Screws and nails are always falling off trucks. 3) avoid gas stations used by commercial trucks.
Yeah it happen to me bro in the same damn week that I replaced my three new tires was only able to use the warranty on one wheel I was so pissed man you not the only one but definitely be careful near gutters or pot holes as when it rain nails get washed up in those areas
My girl's got a GTI with magnetic tires too. They get extra magnetic when we just get on the road for vacation. The someone messing with you is named "Road"..
My theory is that the tpms battery generates a current and as we all know every current generates a magnetic field around it. As the tire rotates the magnetic field also rotates causing the current to increase in magnitude which in turn causes the magnetic field to similarly balloon to such epic proportions that metals objects in the immediate vicinity are unable to resist it's powerful magnetic pull much like a blackhole explaining the screws that seem to make it into your tires on a regular basis. Or it could be because BMW really stands for Big Magnetic Wheel and it's built by design.
Happened allot in my vette but the worst one was a literal freaking bolt with threads that was on the far right highway lane it probably dropped from a truck
My m4 comp does the same. I think the thin side wall and sticky compound makes it easy to grab nails. Currently have a nail in my tire but doesn’t leak been on it for weeks
wait til the 666’s bend. They have a tendency to bend or warp. I went through 4 sets of oem wheels before realizing that’s where bmw skimped out on quality control. Couldn’t get them to balance or road force after 100mph. Turns out at least two had minor bends from hitting minor potholes. Went with aftermarket forged and never looked back
It just be like that. I’ve gotten something in the tire of every car I’ve owned. Never fails, especially if the tire costs more money. Those are the real magnetic ones.
Got an F10 M5 and I've replaced the rear right twice and rear left once. All nails, and all too close to the wall to repair. Damn tires cost me $480 a piece in the back.
You don’t want to repair a high performance tire even if it was in the middle. God forbid at high speeds that repaired tire blows out it could be catastrophic. It sucks I know but trust me it’s much safer to just get a whole new tire.
Nitrogen . In the Air Force they don’t put air in the tires of the jets, they use nitrogen because nitrogen don’t heat up and your tread will last forever….
Been driving for 7 years never had a nail in my tire it could be a specific area your driving where ppl are loose with there nails I worked at a pallet repair place and ppl would have nails in they pockets and stuff then throw them out and I’d see ppl with flats and shit all the time I eneded up parking a little ways away and walking a block or 2 for work cause of it
Happen to me on the second of ownership. I they couldn’t patch it so I had to get a brand new tire for $600. That hurts. 2024 m4 comp xdrive is what I got.
I have this exact issue for the second time in two months. First the right rear, now the left rear. At least I will have had two brand new rear tires using the tire and wheel protection plan I purchased 😊. Only got the car since last August smh
I dont drive in alleyways or onto sketchy roads, never accidentally drive onto the shoulder etc. And i had 10-12 total nails in a little more than year. One of my tires has been patched SEVEN TIMES😭 Getting new ones soon i hope this doesn’t continue
I had f80 m3, with stock Michelin pílot super sports tires. same problem. Nail almost monthly. You gotta drive slowly in the city streets, which makes no sense since it’s a sporty car. Pick your poison.
Best thing to do is a get a dash cam one in the front and one for the back, someone use to mess with my car becuase I use to drive to my girls house and one of her haters would always f with my car for no reason
Another thing bmw owners notice, the rims crack. I know a guy who welds cracked rims he said Mercedes and BMW rims are notoriously cracking… I started noticing the issue my tires kept losing air little by little then the more I drove on it the bigger the crack got so lost air faster. I took wheels off to plug it and sure enough on back of the rim after spraying with soapy water small crack, and don’t weld it, better off buying a new rim
@@brianmiller915 no it’s because the rims are shit aluminum, cheap metal , I don’t have low profiles on mine and they crack easy af especially when it’s cold, hit a little pothole right…. Soft compound tires are magnets to nails. My last set of Pirelli’s got nailed more than a frat chick from that Bay Area.
😂😂😂😂
frat or fat?
@@eligennis5436why not both?
Pilots are definitely nail magnets.
Bruh 3 times in 2 months!! 🥲
Oh for sure
@@louiexiii91obviously you are driving through areas with recent construction

calling this boy out
Happens to me as well, thank God for the tire protection 😏
dont get pzeros then
Yeah it happen to me bro in the same damn week that I replaced my three new tires was only able to use the warranty on one wheel I was so pissed man you not the only one but definitely be careful near gutters or pot holes as when it rain nails get washed up in those areas
Sucks man. It def has been raining a lot and there is a lot of new potholes that were created from it.
Sticky soft tyres is a deadly combo...
😭
My girl's got a GTI with magnetic tires too. They get extra magnetic when we just get on the road for vacation. The someone messing with you is named "Road"..
It happens to me as well, no one mess ur tires now days, just drive and park the car carefully and watch out for the potholes
My theory is that the tpms battery generates a current and as we all know every current generates a magnetic field around it. 🤯 lol you might be onto something
Or it's just they are soft sticky tires🤷 ask anyone running a sticky tire how often this happens.
@@alwaysstrapped814, sadly 2 or more times per year

I saw a lump of wood in the road recently. It had a nail in it sticking upwards
Wow two months, time flies when your having fun
Sure does!
I truly think it’s someone bro, it happened to me too… I never seen a 328i ever complain about these issues 😭😭😩 I’m an Ex 92 M3 owner.
The reason why every time I park, I always check all 4 tires to see if someone put a nail in the back or front of each tire
Its the sticky tires my guy
Its a plot twist
Sick color that bmw is nice🇩🇪

I had an F80 M4 with starred Pirelli tyres (special order in Uk) and was constantly picking up punctures ? No idea why ?
I have a similar car and I can just go around the corner and back ., mine just luvs them and always too close to the wall to repair .. when it happens
🥲
My Z4 rear tires have gotten 4 nails already Never the front always the rears! Mind you they are all seasons so not sticky by any means
Nah I forsure feel you I changed pently back tires I just plug them now lol the front ones are always good tho so weird
Forreal I had this happen to me too!! It could also be someone messing with you how could that even happen consecutively
Yeah, run flates can't be patched, meaning you have to buy a whole new tire.
Really? I patched my run flats the other day..?
I patched my old Pzero run flats. Even ran up to 145mph on it too.
That’s why people need to buy tire protection when buying these expensive tires
same here 1month old tire found 4 nails at once
Your driving on lanes or roads where most people don't drive like ending/merging lanes or emergency sections on the freeway.
Use your eyes on roads when drive not on on phone, and use the turnsignals. When you turn
I’ve never had good luck with tires but ever since I started rocking extreme contacts I swear it’s like these screws are just plotting against me
Love the color
Mopar Gang fucking with you. But yea someone messing with you
Hoe many miles when you bought it? I found one with 99k miles for $30k debating if I should grab
beautiful car
Sticky aka soft tires. I promise you'll hate your car if you put a harder compound tire on
You'll get used it BMWs are attracted to metal
😭
Road hazard warranty is a must and don’t drive near any construction zones !!! Alleys also. Stick to main streets. Small side roads are bad also.
How much can you get them used and high mileage?
In both of my BMW's this has happened multiple times and on brand new tires
I ask the same question about my widebody scat!!
😭😭
Michelin tires grip to well
It just be like that. I’ve gotten something in the tire of every car I’ve owned. Never fails, especially if the tire costs more money. Those are the real magnetic ones.

I’m looking at this car as my next purchase, how you like it?
Yeah bro I was the one messing wit u. My b g I’ll stop 😂❤
well patch it up and be happy it wasn't on the sidewall
When tires heat up, they absorb everything. I’ve had 3 punctures in the last 2 months. One roofing nail and two screws😢
Nitrogen . In the Air Force they don’t put air in the tires of the jets, they use nitrogen because nitrogen don’t heat up and your tread will last forever….
😂😂 I just expect this atleast 2-3x per season it’s normal
Lol smdh

Performance cars will need new tires quite often sometimes

Same thing with my f80 , had to change the rears 3 times in a month

Bro only one thing left to do, shred these tires doing burnouts and get a new pair

Maybe try driving on different roads, could be the same route you drive daily is also driven by vehicles that screws, nails etc are falling off.
Time for surveillance
Nice car!!!
Thanks!
It’s what happens when you have a nice car man. If it was beater vehicle u better believe it would never catch a single nail lol
Go to discount tire get that warranty
What’s that color
Whoa that is weird
Right!
Continental tires are the way to go, just my 2cents
Welcome to Miami
...Switch to Michelin's Bro! SNM
Just by better durable tires from bmw
You need new tires forsure but that’s just luck or stop driving in the shoulder lol
Don’t drive in areas where houses are being built or roofs replaced
Bruhhhh my Michelins way too sticky too they grab everything

You won’t believe 😂
That’s statistically rare,
Perhaps you are driving thru one spot that has a whole bunch of nails around?
You should check your tires before you move.
My thoughts exactly
Driver error
Im pretty sure somebody is hating on your whip bro smh people don't like to see you winning 😤🤬
It’s the tires bro I had a m4 too same tires and I went through 4 tires cuz of nails

Did you change it the first time? Lol
Someone is defo sticking things in your tyres.
It’s most likely where you drive that has a lot of nails
Set up trail cam
Def need that
Try to avoid construction sites just in case.
Thats usually happens when your tires are on their way out. Grab a new set and this unlikely to happen.
Near by tire shop or dealer trying to make you get a new set from them( unlikely but it’s a crazy world we live in)
