Have you seen Tales of the Destinies? That is another very out there experimental song that appeals to musicians and music nerds. And everybody else i think. It's a great song.

When they did this live for the first time everyone went batshit crazy ! Especially in Europe ! I guess they realized that this song resonated with the fans a lot despite being a Japan exclusive. It is straight FIRE live. They have a sick choreography to this. It was an instant epiphany when I heard it first on the studio album but then they played it live and they managed to bring this to new heights. A true gem that skyrocketed on the top of my favourite BABYMETAL songs. Truly special, different with the BABYMETAL vibe they manage to pour into all the time.
I can not say enough how much fire this song is live, the girls are truly showing off in this choreography. The visuals behind them during live performances is astounding aswell. I truly truly truly hope they make a music video out of this absolute gem of a song. So I can frantically share this to everyone I know :D.

Great reaction and so good to see you back with Babymetal. They've really gone all out for some very different sounds and influences in this album. The fancam videos of this show they are absolutely killing it live too (there were some who doubted - they should have known better than that). I get to see this for myself on Sunday - can't wait.

Having witnessed this 4 times over the last week I can tell you the fancams still don't do justice to how powerful this song is live. As you say it hits like a freight train, just from the studio verision, seeing it live, it just becomes a totaly different monster.

From recent interviews with Su and Moa, it's clear that they wanted even their existing fans to say "Nanja korya!", or roughly, "What the hell is this!" when they listened to the new album for the first time.
That plan seems to have been a success. : )

I just saw Babymetal in concert on Wednesday night and it was a superb gig. I didn't know about this song until recently as it wasn't on our CD. They've been doing it live on the European leg of the tour and its superb live, much heavier than the recorded version.
It's my new favorite babymetal song. Everything japanese exclusive is amazing

I am so happy you chose this track. I remember first hearing this song while I was at work and just head banging at my desk. I knew it would be a hit if they ever performed it live but I wasn't sure how they would do it. However, Moa mentioned in an interview that they were struggling to come up with the choreography for this song so I knew they were at least working on it. Still, I think everyone was surprised when they performed it at the Legend Metal Galaxy Day 2 concert and even more surprised when they added it to the European tour set list, especially since it is a Japanese exclusive. I can't wait for the pro-footage to be released in May but the fancams are worth watching; the choreography is mature and just adds so much energy to the song.

I am so glad I experienced this song live. It was a blast! The crowd went NUTS. Would have loved it even more if the avenger had been Riho, because she's on fire during this song and she's my favorite avenger, but Momoko did a great job too.

now you got to see the fancam of this song. the choreography and Su's voice is just so awesome. some thought it was her voice messed with but when you hear the live version it is all her voice. to see Su being such a badass when the rapping starts. this song should have been on international version. i could be wrong but to me they just created a new genre of metal. something like rap kawaii metal. ?

Yes, I was at the Barrowlands on Wednesday and although I've only just heard this song it was one of the real highlights of the night, better than the studio version. Heavy as hell.
I was there too, and I concur. Su just spits out those complex vocal lines like they're nothing. Amazing performance.

Great to see you back with BABYMETAL! Isn't it awesome that they still manage to make you go WTF?? On my first listen I went WTF as well, but I think it was more on the negative side. I couldn't handle it at first. By now I have learned to love it! And the next WTF comes when you see Su perform it live. I wouldn't even have thought it possible that this would ever be performed live, because it seems 90% effects, but Su absolutely kills it! It's definitely worth watching, even if it's just a crappy fancam.
Su-metal does it 90% pure without effects, unlike many would expect based on the album. Which is why it's so amazing. :-)
But I think she does it a lot pure on the album too.

So, this one is a Japanese exclusive track on the album. Therefore, no one expected it to be played outside of Japan. Then, they kick off their EU tour this month - and they're playing it. So. I think there's going to be a stand-alone single release for the rest of the world, sometime this year.
I have a bit of unrelated evidence to back this up. The latest Slipknot album. You remember when 'We Are Not Your Kind' came out and people thought it was weird that they didn't include the earlier single 'All Out Life'? If you bought the Japanese CD release, you got an exclusive bonus track at the end of the album - 'All Out Life'.

Really glad you're reacting to this song but you need to check out the live version it's totally on a different
Oh btw, if you want to react to something really interesting and unique, please react to SKYND if you haven't already! They were the act before BABYMETAL and my God, they were SO GOOD. Creepy af but really good. A lot of the crowd didn't seem to get it, but I was personally mindblown and I've heard other people say the same thing. They make music about true crime which is what makes it so creepy (plus the singer she's kinda creepy as well, sometimes sexy sometimes creepy lol, hard to explain without seeing her)but they do it so brilliantly I can't even do them justice properly explaining it. They manage to present the story in a way that it sucks you in, giving you a glimpse of what the person might have been thinking or feeling (as far as they could feel I guess) and it's good music at the same time. Tyler Hadley has some heavy guitars in it.
Glad you enjoyed it, SKYND didn't appeal to everyone.

I saw them perform this for the first time in Japan in January at the Legend concerts (day 2). The audience went off big time. Live performance of this is crazy heavy. Can't wait for the Legend performance to be broadcast in the coming months.

My thoughts exactly. As I've said, I would take virtually any song from the first 2 albums over virtually any song from this album, this is the exception.
