I watch the live version & I’m so mad that I didn’t watch that first 😭. The dancing, stage presence , crowd and breathing control is INSANE ! it’s way BETTER than the music video version!
BMC 👉 Bring Moa Chicken 🦊🤘🍗 Thanks for coming back with more BM songs, always expect the unexpected in this journey and you didn't even watched the live version, please come back next reaction with a live version i already suggest in your last vid. BxMxC (or just BMC, x is just a cool space bar) probably means BabyMetal Cypher but fans like to have fun saying stand for Bring Moa Chicken, because Moa loves fried chicken (pizza and hamburger included). SuMetal is taking a real challenge with this new trap/rap metal song, she needed to find her flow and boi she can spit some bars and killing it on this one with the attitude. She actually rap since their very first song Doki Doki Morning but of course this one is on another level. But the hip hop and rap elements are more clear on songs like "Iine!" or "Onedari Daisakusen" way before this BxMxC song. This song was the last one added to Metal Galaxy 3rd album from 2019 and is an exclusive track for Japanese album (along with "↑↓←→BBAB") is clear that they took a challenge on this in such short time, and no wonder why they push this song during live shows outside of Japan, fans at Asian and Australian Tour enjoyed this song recently this year. This MV was released in 2020, that's why you only see the two of them, SuMetal and MoaMetal. In the live version you will find the full trio dancing this but without YuiMetal since she left in 2018 officially. Next suggestion: - Road Of Resistance live in Japan official. Thanks for sharing this and see you next time with more BM songs.🦊🤘🔥
Welcome back - so soon too. Great reaction again.🤘🦊 The closed captions wouldn't have helped on this one, for some reason YT has tried to translate it from Korean when Su was actually rapping in a mixture of Japanese and English. BxMxC (think of the x's as punctuation, so BMC) probably means BABYMETAL Cypher, but I'm still going with Bring Moa Chicken. In an interview two or three years ago the first question they were asked "How are you feeling right now?" Moa's reply "Hungry, I need to eat fried chickens".🍗🍗🍗 They talked about 'BxMxC' in another interview. SU-METAL: That was my first rap experience. For most of my recordings up until now, I would sing “la la laa” to create a sort of vocal line, and then lyric writing began based on that. But it was different for this track, they had a backing track and lyrics, and then told me to try rapping. So at first I was still trying to figure it out. In hiphop they call it…it was like…ah, I forget! MOAMETAL: Wasn’t it…f-…fall? SU-METAL: Uh…what was it… KOBAMETAL (their producer): Flow? SU-METAL: Flow! (laughs) To get a feel for the flow, I made a lot of different attempts to figure out what would be good. Like how to descend and ascend in pitch, and which timing would be the best to try the pitch changes. Even for the same phrase I’d try going a little ahead of the beat or a little bit behind it, while keeping the whole track’s balance in mind. I hope you will also watch the live version - BABYMETAL live is always a step up from their studio recordings. Jake Muller left an excellent list of songs with links for you in his comment under your 'Gimme Chocolate' reaction to get you started. I think we are going to enjoy watching as you fall deeper into this BABYMETAL Foxhole. 🦊☺
@@vassreacts You have to react to live BxMxC - Su sounds exactly the same live and it's even BETTER !!! Her performance at Budokan 2021 is the best example of the live performance of this song.
Hey that was a quick turn around from the last reaction. Thank you for that! These women mix literally every genre with metal. If you just want to try some easy Metal with the best crowd control of any band I might suggest “Road of Resistance.” It is still early enough in their career to not get blocked. it might be a little slow in the middle for a newbie, but damn! If you react to the standard early version this is a 17ish year old with two 15 year olds commanding 20-25,000. It’s a good place to start.
I get a kick out of reacters saying "I'm ready, I'm ready" when their getting set to fire up some BABYMETAL - you ain't ready!!! LMAO!!! And later: "I WAS NOT PREPARED!!!" Now you know that when it comes to BABYMETAL, the only thing you should expect is the unexpected! ROTFLMAO!!! It seems apparent that you'll be continuing your journey down the BABYMETAL foxhole and as you do, you'll find great songs, good songs and ones that aren't so good, you'll find triumph (Sonisphere 2014) and tragedy (the departure of Yuimetal in 2018 and the unfortunate death of Mikio Fujioka, guitarist of the BABYMETAL backing "Kami Band"), you'll find Black BABYMETAL, and you'll find that although BABYMETAL started a brand new genre of music ("kawaii metal"), they cannot be pigeon-holed - they are almost always thinking and moving outside box; they made metal FUN!. They have only a bit over sixty songs and you're sure to find most of them quite entertaining. I will be the first to agree with the One that BABYMETAL is best served live, but they have several music videos that are real works of art and definitely worth looking into (“Doki Doki Morning”, “Iine!”, “Megitsune”, “Karate”, and “BxMxC”. In my opinion, those are BABYMETAL’s best MV’s - so far!). You may want to give the MV "Iine!" (pronounced "E-nay") particular attention. I've compiled what I consider to be BABYMETAL's top twenty songs/videos here on UA-cam; it contains both live performances and the above mentioned music videos. I sincerely hope that you consider reacting to them all (except "Gimme Chocolate!!" and "BxMxC" - two down, eighteen to go) ua-cam.com/play/PLdhz2aj0pt4zPl0BZLevPUR9uHKQA27uj.html I recommend that you start at the top of the list and work your way down: it starts with the very first MV they did (2012) and moves forward to 2019. I should mention that I cannot guarantee that reacting to these videos won't be blocked but with some creative editing that shouldn't be a problem. Another thought: if lyrics is your thing, I recommend that you look up the lyrics to any song you intend to react before reacting to that song. Just sayin'. BABYMETAL recently released their fourth album “The Other One”. I would strongly recommend that you react to their earlier work before delving into this last album: in my opinion, the contrast is striking. Finally, I suggest that you avoid compilation and fancam videos like the plague: compilation videos are, in my opinion, an insult to both the viewer and the band; the music is certainly overdubbed, and the changes in venue and costumes (sometimes even personnel) can be confusing if not completely annoying. You won't be reacting to BABYMETAL, you'll be reacting to a highlight reel of BABYMETAL. And fancams generally have terrible quality and sound thus being basically a waste of time. Sorry about the wall! Enjoy your trip down the foxhole! (You're in for a wild ride!!!) KITSUNE UP!!! 🤘🦊🤘
The three rules of reacting to Banymetal... 1. Expect the unexpected 2. Expect the unexpected 3. Always watch to the very end of the video or you might miss something. Live is always better, but that is a suggestion, not a rule. 😉
Haha yes always fun seeing new folks have their mind blown at the versatility of Babymetal! I DO recommend the live version though, whether you react to it or just on your own! In my opinion it sounds a lot better, less effects on Su's voice, her voice is already powerful, also, when the instruments kick in after the final solo chorus, they're REEEEALLY heavy compared to this studio version. Oh and with the live you get to see all the awesome dancing too 😁
Su rapping? Sure, why not, over the years we”ve seen her do an Irish jig, Egyptian style song, a Bollywood song, salsa mixed with flamenco moves, a song about chocolate, another about a papaya salad… one of this days she’ll sing an opera piece and the fans would just nod as is if it’s normal, Queen Su can do anything. 😊
Good reaction. Gimme Chocolate is not a song about girls who want chocolate even if it makes them fat... A criticism of society that prevents children from being happy (eating chocolate) because they can lose that ideal shape that society demands, especially girls/women. The song recounts that a girl begs to be given some chocolate, that although she knows that it will not do her good because she will gain weight (sic.) she has worked hard and wants chocolate.
Hey Vass. love the reaction and the love for Babymetal. HMU if you want to do a video together. We're about the same size, but probably completely different audiences. We can introduce each other to some new music.

Doesn't hurt to check out both. Like Megitsune music video is really well done. Live is always amazing though. 🤘🦊🤘
The music video is very good, but yeah, the live version is just off the charts, the swagger is insane.
when viewing Babymetal, live is the way to go every time

BABYMETAL headbanger ive legend 1997, and megitsune video. My favorites
BxMxC LIVE blows this MV out of the water.
We recommend LIVE BabyMetal performances for a reason.
It’s gonna be LIVE from here on out because the live version of BMC is INSANE!
