Thank you for this. I don’t think they sell Brixton anymore- or at least they’ve renamed them. My issue is that I have narrow feet and a narrow heel and I worry they’ll slip off! I previously read they were narrow.
They are narrow but because the material is so soft, they can also be comfortable for wide feet. I suggest maybe buying insoles if you’re afraid of them slipping off!
Hi! I got them at regular retail price. Gucci items don’t go on sale usually, unless you take part in a department store rebate program. Sometimes the shopping malls also have programs that allow you to buy their gift card and they give you extra credit as a reward, which will in turn give you an indirect discount.

Hello! They are very comfortable for prolonged wear. I am not the right person to give you an opinion on the second question because my feet are sweaty even when I’m wearing sandals 🤣 However, I have been using a foot spray that minimizes sweating when wearing the loafers. The spray really helps.

The spray that I use is Dr. Scholl’s Odor-X Ultra Odor-Fighting Spray Powder. It helps to fight odors and usually after I spray, I wear socks because there could be white residue that will show up in the shoes if you wear without socks.
Hey, thanks for the review! I was wondering if you used a water protector spray on your shoes? I've just bought a cream pair of Brixtons and my SA recommended not to use anything as gucci won't be able to repair them in future.

My feet perspire in any kind of shoe (even slippers!) and to control that I use this foot spray from Dr.Scholl’s. I do feel that compared to other shoes I own made from synthetic material, my feet perspire less in these loafers. It’s not an apple to apple comparison but hope it still helps!
I find them quite breathable given the soft and high quality leather. However, if you are concerned with this, I would recommend the Princetown rather than the Brixton. But I like both very much. One thing about the Brixton is that the inner part is black, and if you wear them without socks (which I do most of the time), your feet will get a bit black at the end of the day. This is true even after hours and days and months of wearing them.
Thank you for the detailed review! I also have the same loafers in same size 36.5 and I have wide feet as well. Because the shoe is kind of long and pointy, I feel there are lots of room at the tip of the shoe while its width is perfect…. Or am I just not used to the pointy shoes?🤣

Driving loafers, penny loafers and Gucci loafers and moccasins are are so hard to fold the back of the heel.
Balerinas flat shoes are very easy to fold the back of the heel.

USE SHOE TREES
and occasionally leather conditioner. Saphir is ideal

Hi! No I didn’t spray anything. I want to just use them as they are. If they become super worn down, I’ll purchase another pair.

Since there loafers are made from high quality leather, does it help prevent foot odour when worn regularly?

Are they slippery?
At first, the bottom of the shoes are a bit slippery. Once the leather soles are worn in, they become less slippery.
