@@Nailtheday I just bought them today!!! Your video hyped meeeeee!!! It's like stepping on clouds when I wore them without socks thank you for your review
I have them, they are great. All leather soles are slippery without rubber. If you put a topy product on them, it will lengthen the life of the shoes, otherwise they will eventually you get a hole.
I mean, they are fabulous and I am SO happy I own a pair, I also found a video on how to make them less slippy so I'll be updating you all soon once I've done my Blue Peter bit (lol) xx
Good Morning Cath🧡 I have a pair of Gucci loafers that I love! Mine are brown with the iconic Gucci symbol. You are so amazing and I love how we are so similar. My husband bought them for me as a gift😉I keep mine in their box as well. I kept the ribbon too🤣🤣I’m excited to see your review! Blessings Cath 🍑🧡🙌🏻Lisa
I bit the bullet and had rubber soles put on after 3 or 4 wears, I want them to last forever so I figured it would preserve the sole and keep me on my feet!
Thanks for the detailed review, the Sketchers trainer socks are not available in that link anymore, could you please give us another link or the product article number? thanks.
They are gorgeous!!!! But I would have to do something about the slippery soles because of my knees. They are lovely and if you can afford them, get the red pair. 🤩💋
Thanks for the review! I recently bought a pair. When I tried it at the store, it feels very comfortable and the sales associate ordered a new pair for me as the store one had a scratch on it. But the new pair feels really really tight and I am wondering if I should order a half a size bigger. I am normally a 7 and this pair I got is 6.5. Thanks for your advice.
I had a similar issue with a pair of Gucci sneakers… did what you described above and now they fit loose I have to double sock so they don’t slip off… good luck with whatever you do!
Hi @nailtheday - I recently purchased 2 pair, 6 and 6.5. I'm usually a 6.5 (sometimes 7 in certain brands). The salesperson thought I should go with the 6 since the shoe will stretch a bit. The 6.5 fits perfect, but I don't know which pair to keep = wondering if i should keep the 6 since they will stretch out, or go with what fits perfectly comfortably right out of the box?? I've only worn around the house because I will need to return 1 of the pairs. Ugh, I need help deciding. They are too expensive to get it wrong! Like most, I've been wanting these shoes for at least 4-5 years now.
I returned them. There was a bit of a gap and at that price I needed them to fit perfectly. But, I always have that problem with loafers, I’ve tried Manila Blahnik and others. Very cute and stylish though but no good for me.
Ok you’ve convinced me. I’m getting them. Price be damned! I’ve torn my feet up on tons of loafers. I’m tired of it. It’s all about the comfort now. Thank you!!
Hi Cath , I love them, you have a knee issue so a comfortable great/ fablous looking shoe in your wardrobe is really important , taking a heel and a cute little shoe off the shelve you need these !!! great that you got them and go for the red I love 💖 red shoes . Our ShoeMaker charges allmost $95 to put a sole on our shoes , but we wait till we need a new sole. When I used to purchase expensive shoe's they all have these gorgous soles I used to keep a sheet of very fine sandpaper with my shoe polishes and just gentle rubbed the sole it does help . Hugs my friend have a wonderful week :) 🌷
I’ve got Princetown in light beige . Absolutely love them because of the same reason - super comfortable. Also need to resole them😢 but don’t want to have it black!

I would keep the smaller size, if they fit perfectly now in 6 months they’ll be at least half a size too big. Now I’ve lost weight mine are too big! I’ve had to buy insoles 🤣🤣🤣 I know it’s weird as we’ve always been told to buy shoes that ‘fit’ straight off the bat but these do stretch. As long as your toes are where they should be they’ll be fine. They mould to your feet, the leather is so soft they stretch out quickly.
I’m also considering buying these. I bought a pair from mint velvet for about €130-€150 I believe and they have worn out sooo quickly 😢 I feel like although the price tag is high you’ll save in the long run.
My feet are neither wide nor narrow but! They do stretch a bit, so I sized down half a size and they fit perfectly, they were a little snug at first then stretched out so I think you’ll be fine xx
If you get another pair bring to cobbler and have rubber sole on them. I do that will all my Chanel ballet flats and Louboutin heels. You won’t slip and they will wear better.
I just bought a pair and it’s impossible to put on without a shoe horn. Does that change? I’m thinking about returning them because of that, even though I love them.
They’re comfortable when on. A bit snug in the middle but I’m assuming that part stretches. I’m just worried I will forever need to carry a shoe horn with me
To be fair, I would assume that most people would take them to the cobbler before wearing them. If you get soles on them, you can choose if you want them to be tap or rubber. But I would NEVER leave them as leather because they're kinda like...not finished. That's why it's slippery
I have them as well. I also wanted them for years. Unfortunately they’re so uncomfortable for my feet😭 the sides especially under my ankle and the backs are rubbing me so much! Worn them around 4 times but can’t make them work. I find the leather stif and uncomfortable. I don’t know how can you find them comfortable and no breaking in for you?! I don’t understand why mine are so uncomfortable 🙁 xx
I tried them in store before buying online and the fit is perfect. I just can’t walk in them🙄 I will persist and try wearing them in. I’ve heard stories from other people that they were extremely uncomfortable from the start and it took a while to break them in. I’ll keep trying. Thanks for your reply. Very helpful review x
Just like the shoes, this video is a classic because people are still doing research before they purchase. This video is very helpful. Thanks!
Thanks so so much for the excellent, detailed, honest review. Have been eyeing this for years and will be getting it this weekend!!! 🥰

Yaaaaaay!!!!!
When you buy these or the mules. Run to a cobbler and get the rubber sole installed on the bottom of the shoe. It will slow down the wear🤷🏾♀️
I did just that 🎉
@@Nailthedayhello lovely, what did you ask for can I ask please, when you went to the cobblers? X

You should put shoe trees! That will help preserve its shape, improve and prevent the crease. :)
