Cleared 99 with ease (haven't got tier 100 map yet but still looking for one). If anyone is wondering, I'm at 77.1% DR while injured, barrier bonus 71.%, max life 11,187.
I tried to do something similar to yours, but you did it 300% better, the build is just incredible, the first build that I see for shields))) Very grateful, like, subscribe.
@Dr. Slug I've got a questions for ya... is there a minimum amount of damage reduction while fortified that would be required to run the higher tier NMs? I've got 94.7 barrier generation 79.7 DR while injured. But my damage reduction while fortified is really low in comparison to those. I've got it on 2 out of 3 of the required spots and can clear like 88+ tier nms @ level 85.
Your DR while injured and barrier gen look solid, I would focus more on Armor than DR while fortified. You should shoot for 13k armor with full buffs, then just get as much DR while fortified/close as you can. Use iron skin elixirs if necessary to reach these higher armor levels and it will make a huge difference in your survivability in high tier nightmare dungeons.
Hi love your build. One question isnt it better to have barber caged heart with less then 3 sec so you benefit the vulnerable damage debuff from exploit glyph?
I don't think so. The extra second gives you more multiplicative damage and more time to "catch" explosions on elites and bosses. Vulnerable isn't a concern with this build since Storm Strike applies it 50% of the time for 3 seconds with no cooldown. The only reason I take the exploit glyph is for the +vulnerable damage
On your video, going over the paragon board, your starter board has territorial Glyph, but on your D4 guide links you have Exploit Glyph on board 1 and territorial on board 8. Your video glyphs are in different order than your D4 build list. Which one do we use. The video board or D4 builds. Thank you
I have made some changes to the build and the most updated version is on my planner linked in the description. The reason it is different than the video walkthrough is because I think this new version is better and I want to give you guys the strongest build. Most of the nodes/glyphs are the same, just with different pathing/order.

Can someone explain how claw procs bulwark ? The point I am confused about is that claw is a basic skill and nature's fury should proc a basic skill but bulwark is a defensive one.
Crone Staff makes Claw a storm skill. This is why you need the Aspect of Nature's Savagery if you don't have the crone staff since it also makes Claw a storm skill. In conjunction with the Symbiotic Aspect, this allows you to reduce the CD of your Bulwark.
@@DrSlugMD Thanks for the answer. I think I got the part where I got confused. Let me ask you this: in the symbiotic aspect it is written "...non-ultimate cooldowns of the opposite type are reduced.." I thought what is meant by "opposite type" here is the opposite type but it must be in the same skill class, defensive, core etc. but apparently this is not the case phrase opposite type applies to all skill types irrespective of their being core or defensive as long as we put hard points on them. Am I getting this right ?
You don't actually get the free Earthen Bulwark from Nature's Fury because, as you suggest, Claw is a basic skill and Bulwark is a defensive skill. However, with the Symbiotic aspect you are able to reduce the CD of Bulwark by 8 seconds when it procs.@@Taqu3
I want to try this one. I've been running the poison trample slide which plays similar to this. But i now realize the damage must have come from bulwark more so than landslides 😅. I did a NM 50 at level 70 and now I'm level 74 and did a NM60 and got an upgraded 808 crone staff and a waxing gibbous at the end. BTW, is there a waxing build for season 1? Or its not worth it? Never got one on eternal and wanted to try it.
Waxxing gibbous is used on lightning shred build. It is absolutely insane for speedfarming lower tier NMD and helltides. Fun build too. But not great for pushing high tiers.
Sometimes the bulwark hits for high crits 110k plus, then sometimes it doesn’t do high damage at all. Only lvl 60 but I have good pieces for my level. Can you explain the inconsistency? Maybe I’m missing something
The biggest factor is how many enemies are around you and how high-level they are. If you are fighting low-level enemies single target, killing them will take a long time. If you are fighting many high-level enemies together, you will kill them very fast (assuming you are using The Barber)
Best build yet for me. I’m on my 4th build was never really happy until this by far best. I’m 86 hitting up to t70 now. I don’t think I can push t100 need to get better gear. Is there any other uniques that can go with this build other than the crone staff.
@@DrSlugMDI’m also very interested in this. I’ve been reading the barrier gen is capped is capped at 100% based on Bulwark barrier from skill * barrier gen from gear
My build planner is the "BiS" gear - the gear you should be trying to acquire. I didn't have all bis gear when I recorded this video (I still don't, but I'm closer). Also, some of this information has changed, so you should also check out my 1.1.2 build guide update video
im wonder if i can speed farm lower NM (50ish) without the injured reduction version of this build (i still dont have the staff), also is the main source of damage comes from the barber heart? Nice work bro, keep it up!
You can farm low tier NM dungeons without an injured setup. You can probably farm high NM dungeons without an injured setup as well, your barriers will just have much less EHP. You are correct, most of our damage comes in the form of barber explosions.
I currently run a low life trampleslide/bulwark build without the staff (cause I don't have it yet) and works just fine. Get the aspect that makes wolf skills count as storm on 1h axe and put 30% basic attack speed on totem and you will still get mad amount of procs with claw. Plus it is easier to get certain stats like barrier generation with the totem. I am lvl 72 and have no problems with nm50+ (haven't really tried to push high yet because I wanted to stay efficient with speed)
Hi , very nice build , GJ :) I wanna try this , but im lvl 86 and your paragon board is for 100lvl.. Can you show or write leveling build paragon ? Thanks for answer :)
Yes, nerfs to CDR and the Symbiotic aspect hurt this build. However, the addition of the Barber was a buff. Nerfing all defensive stats other than DR while Injured also made this build relatively stronger as well.
Usually, I let monsters outside T100 dungeons lower my health. In easier content, you can let it fall naturally. Our health stays there because we never actually use a potion to heal, and monsters can't break our barrier either so we don't take damage.
I thought this as well and used a 2.8 second for the longest time. When I switched to a 3.8 second I realized I did way more damage thanks to the bigger multiplier and I was able to "catch" more explosions on the elites and bosses for more overall damage.
It doesn't increase the total barrier past 100% life which you get from 60% barrier generation anyways. You could do this to drop a couple points in the skill build but the pants and armor affixes are super valuable so I would prefer to get more DR than more skills.
If you have enough armor for 85% damage reduction from players without it, you could swap Aspect of Disobedience for Vigorous Aspect for an extra 15% general DR. The build feels pretty good in PVP compared to the other Druid builds I have tried.
I'm uncertain if Revenge Heart actually works with Barriers because to me it seems like if damage was being Supressed, you would see explosions with Bulwark. The only time I ever get explosions is if I get hit while my barrier is down and THEN I use a def skill.
I think I would still use it because 20% DR can save your life if you get caught with your barrier down. However, this certainly would make the heart much less valuable.
It will work at level 50. I would prioritize DR while Injured and Barrier Generation. The Symbiotic aspect is also required for this build to function properly.
@@DrSlugMD Thanks for the answer, also have you tried using earthguard aspect instead of might and just put sapphires instead of diamonds in the armor slots?
@@joselparayno7178 I haven't tried using Earthguard as a substitute for one of the defense aspects, but this is an interesting idea. I have tried using sapphires for damage reduction; I don't like it because you lose too much barrier generation which is a huge damage multiplier. However, if you are struggling to push T100 dungeons and you are doing plenty of damage, swapping the diamonds to sapphires makes a lot of sense.
I'm not healing. Each time I cast Earthen Bulwark it replenishes my barrier. Since I cast it every few seconds, monsters are never able to break it, so I never take damage.
It seems very good, I am up to almost 15k barrier in the new patch and can tank 2 sets of spikes without my barrier breaking. Stay tuned for an updated guide
5 Points into bulwark is pretty likely wasted, as your barrier has a cap and it does not change the dmg of bulwark. With how much barrier gen you run, you should try to take out some of those points and see if you are still capped. Cheers
Don't you get more damage protection? How can you check if it's still capped? I run 99,2 barrier generation for the damage increase and I would like to know if 5 points into bulwark are really a waste.
@@gomezdemembrillera Running 5 points in bulwark gives it 63% barrier generation on cast, which means you would need at least a 59% barrier bonus to get 100% barrier per cast. Running 1 point in bulwark gives it 45% barrier generation on cast, which means you would need at least a 123% barrier bonus to get 100% barrier per cast. I'm not 100% sure this is how they're calculated, but I heard barrier bonus is capped at 60% which would mean u want 5 points into Bulwark. This 60% however might come from the fact that people always run 5 points in Bulwark, which is capped at 59% (60%). If you have a super high barrier bonus you could take some points out of Bulwark and see if you still get a barrier that's 100% of your life.
My friend got a +5 on some boots and they were indeed a +8 when put on his amulet but we have both had several +5s that turned to +7 we think there is a hidden decimal value that simply gets rounded making it really hard to find a true 8. Wudijo talked about this in a video not to long ago. Nutty system they have in place lol.
Definitely HC viable, but I wouldn't do a low-life version. I would do the same thing but without the DRI stats and get lots of other damage reduction + health.

I'm not sure about a Waxing Gibbous build. I will look into it.
Waxxing gibbous is used on lightning shred build. It is absolutely insane for speedfarming lower tier NMD and helltides. Fun build too. But not great for pushing high tiers.
Can’t use barber with gibbous
@@Sink_Bodymodification if you are speedingfarming on shred theres no need to use barber.
How did u get 10k HP and have no mal live in your gear???
What will happen when you are level 100, will the damage drop off substantially as it is scaling up at the moment?
Based on my own experience, the damage seems to scale from monster level/health, not your characters level/health.
Ive added maxed landslide with the poison creeper to the build, Works like a dream
Cool hybrid.
Crone staff is the only unique I would use with this build.
Do you recommend druid pulv for tier 100?
Pulverize builds can certainly clear T100s but it will be much slower than something like this or Tornado.
my barrier generation is 80%. is this bad? I heard barrier generation bonus is capped out at 60%? so more than 60% is dismissive?
The short answer is no. I will be releasing a video on this soon.
@@DrSlugMDI’m also very interested in this. I’ve been reading the barrier gen is capped is capped at 100% based on Bulwark barrier from skill * barrier gen from gear
@@Mouse__Jerry I just uploaded a very in-depth video on this
I'm confused your build planner does not match your gear in your video
My build planner is the "BiS" gear - the gear you should be trying to acquire. I didn't have all bis gear when I recorded this video (I still don't, but I'm closer). Also, some of this information has changed, so you should also check out my 1.1.2 build guide update video
Does this build work better or worse with tempest roar?
Worse in my opinion.
How do you play with health that low and not get killed form spike damage?
The trick is to maximize the effective health of your barriers. Check my 1.1.2 build guide update for specifics of how I achieve this.
@@DrSlugMD Thanks
im wonder if i can speed farm lower NM (50ish) without the injured reduction version of this build (i still dont have the staff), also is the main source of damage comes from the barber heart?
Whats the breakpoint for dr while injured?
It maxes out at 81.7%, there are no other breakpoints that I am aware of.
Hi , very nice build , GJ :) I wanna try this , but im lvl 86 and your paragon board is for 100lvl.. Can you show or write leveling build paragon ? Thanks for answer :)
I made a level 80 planner for a recent video, hopefully this helps:

@@DrSlugMDthx :)
Hey , amulet 3 envenimation its good no ???
Its good, I prefer movement speed because this build doesn't have damage problems. Either is good.
How do I add damage to earthen bulwark's explosion?
In general, the best ways are with Barrier Generation and Vulnerable Damage.
This is by far the most frustrating build I’ve taken part in lol
Do you have a link to your build?
I just uploaded an updated version for 1.1.2.
Is this better with or with out the crone staff?
I like the crone staff, but I don't think it makes a huge difference.
NIce video! But didn't they nerf this already with the CDR nerf?
Yes, nerfs to CDR and the Symbiotic aspect hurt this build. However, the addition of the Barber was a buff. Nerfing all defensive stats other than DR while Injured also made this build relatively stronger as well.
how do you get your health below 35% and stay there?
Usually, I let monsters outside T100 dungeons lower my health. In easier content, you can let it fall naturally. Our health stays there because we never actually use a potion to heal, and monsters can't break our barrier either so we don't take damage.
Is Crone weapon damage a factor?
Not for Bulwark. Focus on the affixes.
how many point for petrify?? we see 0??
2 points. One in Petrify and one in the Prime enhancement.
Thanks brotha, appreciate the explanation!
No problem 👍
do you recomment this build at lvl60? i have crone
As long as you have a high-rolled Symbiotic aspect it will work.
Wouldn't a 2-2.5s Barber be better? You would profit from the 3s vulnerable debuff on enemies^^
I thought this as well and used a 2.8 second for the longest time. When I switched to a 3.8 second I realized I did way more damage thanks to the bigger multiplier and I was able to "catch" more explosions on the elites and bosses for more overall damage.
Excellent build, thank you.
You're welcome.
is this any good for speed farming lower tier like t70
Yes, but you will probably lose to a tornado druid in terms of speed.
Is this good with PvP?
Yes.
rly thanks for guide :) i go for it
You're welcome.
Why not use the +4 bulwark on the armor and either free 4 points or have a better bulwark?
It doesn't increase the total barrier past 100% life which you get from 60% barrier generation anyways. You could do this to drop a couple points in the skill build but the pants and armor affixes are super valuable so I would prefer to get more DR than more skills.
@@DrSlugMDI don't understand this. Does it mean that you can take points out of bulwark safely as long as barrier generation is 60% at least?
@@gomezdemembrillera Yes, if you can get up to 80% barrier generation or so it would probably be safe to drop a point from Earthen Bulwark.
@@DrSlugMD Thanks, great video btw.
Can you run this build without having low health
Absolutely. Just prioritize other DR stats over Damage Reduction while Injured
What's order of glyph prioity to level up to 21?
For level 21 priority I would probably do this:
1. Exploit
2. Earth and Sky
3. Shapeshifter/Protector
4. Territorial
5. Undaunted
6. Fang and Claw
❤❤ thanks for replying, your build'so OP
any adjustments for PVP?
If you have enough armor for 85% damage reduction from players without it, you could swap Aspect of Disobedience for Vigorous Aspect for an extra 15% general DR. The build feels pretty good in PVP compared to the other Druid builds I have tried.
@@DrSlugMD I see, thanks for the input!
However, this certainly would make the heart much less valuable.
will it work after level 50 ? Any must equipment ?
did you even see the video? wtf lol
@@frodolives6021 absolutely yes mate, ppl generally use Bulwark after lvl 60 thats why i ask around level 50.
It will work at level 50. I would prioritize DR while Injured and Barrier Generation. The Symbiotic aspect is also required for this build to function properly.
does packleader procs even the barber is on effect?
It can't proc while the enemies are immune but it still procs enough to spam the active of poison creeper.
@@DrSlugMD you're right, do you think barrier generation on affixes is still sneeded if you run earthguard?
@@joselparayno7178 Barrier generation is still extremely high priority.
What should i use if i dont have barber?
I would probably go with the wrathful heart that gives 25% ASPD. The buff rotates, but that bonus is very strong any time it is active.
how to get crone staff which dungeon can get it easy?
You want to target Fallen, Goatmen, and Cultists for Staves. I would probably farm Mercy's Reach or Komdor Temple this season.
maybe some props to ace for creating this build in preseason
Possible to do a video explaining how to actually play the build too? Something short
This is a good idea, I will probably do this.
Great build but can you explain where you are getting your life from. Maybe i misses it
I'm not healing. Each time I cast Earthen Bulwark it replenishes my barrier. Since I cast it every few seconds, monsters are never able to break it, so I never take damage.
@@DrSlugMD what im asking is how do you have 10k health. Most your armor doent have max life
That is just from leveling and the paragon boards @@mariopollino5396
Is a shred/bulwark build doable?
Absolutely. I think Bulwark can be an addition to almost any build.
Can you kill lillith with this build?
It seems very good, I am up to almost 15k barrier in the new patch and can tank 2 sets of spikes without my barrier breaking. Stay tuned for an updated guide
Can i Start this build with lv 76?
Yes, I just cleared a T100 with this build at level 80.

thanks alot man , i just did my t100 :)) will sub for ya
Thanks!
@@gomezdemembrillera
Running 5 points in bulwark gives it 63% barrier generation on cast, which means you would need at least a 59% barrier bonus to get 100% barrier per cast.
@@sirenss Awesome response, thanks!
@@sirenss excuse me, how can I check how much barrier I'm getting?
This is correct, I'm at around 80% barrier generation and can take 1 point out of Earthen Bulwark safely.
Can this build kill lilith?
Probably, I haven't killed her yet.
Is this viable in pvp also?
I have only PVPed with it once but it felt pretty good. You are extremely hard to kill and you have plenty of cc to lock down targets.
@@DrSlugMD thanks for the answer i might try this one out

Sorry, fixed.
The tooltip of Envenom is bugged. It's 30% multiplicative still, not additive
Thanks for this correction. In this case it is probably very comparable to ranks of Natural Disorder on your necklace.
Isn't that better than additive lol?
@@carldarley6026 yes multiplicative is better than additive
Not true about the symbiotic aspect. I’ve used it from other items and it transferred at a max roll
Interesting, I've tried it twice on two different amulets and this happened both times (7 seconds)
@@DrSlugMDit happened to me once because the item was ancestral and the aspect was taken from a sacred item
@@AndThenShwarmaAfter Thanks, I hadn't even considered this. I will have to keep an eye out for an ancestral version and see if this upgrades it.
My friend got a +5 on some boots and they were indeed a +8 when put on his amulet but we have both had several +5s that turned to +7 we think there is a hidden decimal value that simply gets rounded making it really hard to find a true 8. @@Durzothorn Yeah I'm 3/3 for 7 seconds from maxed Symbiotics. You are probably not too far off knowing Blizzard.

Definitely HC viable, but I wouldn't do a low-life version. I would do the same thing but without the DRI stats and get lots of other damage reduction + health.
What doing?
Only 3 min?

Nerf incoming ?
I expect one at some point.
Sucks, u need perfect items to play this properly, u need the exact affixes 😢
