I live locally to that and have sat many times at the crossing wondering what its like inside... now i know! Always thought it was a super cool idea given that it was on a major trainline. The main house on the plot is equally awesome! Great video!!
Nice conversation. They have retained a lot of the original features with some tasteful additions. Well done to the owners. I regularly pass the coach and the whole set up, looks really good.
This is fantastic, they've really put a lot of effort in to do that up! I've stayed in one down in Blue Anchor in Somerset, which is a much older-looking one with the little compartments (sort of 1950s), but still a lovely living/kitchen space converted into it - and right alongside the West Somerset Railway steam line as well! Got to say, not struck with the security - I'd definitely want a more lockable guarantee, even with the electric gate.
Absolutely incredibly amazing I would love to stay there. Please do staying in unique & weird places. & very small spaces. U should have combined staying in the train with does it fry. That would have been awesome.

Does look good and its nice to see they are reusing the carriages than just leaving them to waste away. but at lease your giving them points props have cctv all round the outside of the Carriage.
I don’t even think CCTV would make me cool to return to it. All the CCTV would do is let you see people break in haha. They just need a wee latch on the door to stop people being able to open that window.
The only time I had a train carriage to myself was during the Covid pandemic, so few people were travelling on the route I could have the whole thing just for me. It lowered the risk of me getting infected too!
I would love to live on a small space. That's just a little better than myself & absolutely everything folds into the walls. & Have a ladder fixed to the wall so I could sleep up in a small loft. Open a window to a small bridge & go over to use the bathroom & shower. & every time it rains the bathroom collects the water & reuse it. A proper eco small house.
It wouldn't take too much to reinstate the power and functionality to those buttons would it? 5:08 I'm wondering just how annoying it was to have to shut all those curtains when you were tired out at night. For next level seven star holiday experience, perhaps the owner could get in touch with the technical team from that hopeless BBC 1 train kidnap series recently. The people who created the led screens beyond the carriage windows which made it look like the set was moving. Just sayin, but it would be nice to have the option in some part of this fantastic holiday home!
if that was an active running train carriage it would be like the luxury trains in japan but even better. like next level VIP travel. if i was a billionaire i would get my own train and call it a railyacht!
Good review but I think you went on about security I bit much….not like there are mad axemen on every street. Or in the middle of nowhere for that matter.
You think this is mad you should see the caravan in the tree near Aberdeen Daz games done a review on it and also one it's of the cheapest but craziest places ever 😂
@@thisis_mudchute The seats alone on the class 387 disproofs that, because the 387 seats are just awful. i am glad that the company rescued a mk3 coach from being exported or scrapped

Always think the same stuck there on the way to the farm shop or Indian!

Yeah I loved it! Just wanted a bit more security.
staying here now love it. found you in guest book.
If you could send me a pic of it on Instagram, I completely forgot to take a pic of it haha
Growing up, I always dreamed of being able to live in a train - this is just cementing that idea haha
Gotta do it now.
Yay, it's an old 1st Class HST coach from EMR! A lot more of those should have been saved, IMO - it's great what happened to this one!
Perfect for Sheldon Cooper 😂😂
Top job of converting an old train! No idea why they couldn't do this with the MK3's that are still in service...
It’s really well done, isn’t it!
If you want to stay in a plane, try the Jumbo Stay 747 at Stockholm Arlanda Airport 👍
We’ve found one near London you can stay in. Might need to go do it for a video!
I'm not into trains but this looks really cool. Great video!
Thanks! It was a very cool place to stay
Looks well nice! N im not bothered about trains but id deffo book it!
This is my childhood dream
You gotta go live it out now
Bloody amazing love the quirky and trains

Well it is a small world isn’t it 😂

We were gonna bring the fryer. But didn’t wanna stink the place out haha

Thanks , the review videos are great , cheers 🤩👌
Good review but I think you went on about security I bit much….not like there are mad axemen on every street. Or in the middle of nowhere for that matter.
You sound like an axeman

@yerboidazza Yeah type it in Google it's the first thing that comes up it's in Aberdeenshire it would be great if you done a video there 👍🏻
This is an ex EMR first class coach. I have served breakfast in this coach.

How Many Nights for 250 that looks Mint
For us, it was £250 a night!
@@yerboidazza Thanks

Do it!
That looks smart
It was so cool!
@yerboidazza you're next holiday should be a sleeper train but one that actually moves
lol like a kid at Christmas getting his best presents ever then getting another one……. Just beware of 🤡 and 🔪
Clowns everywhere!
It's not a totally over the top review at all ! ... a window! a door! ... running water!!! 🤦🏻
God forbid people get excited at stuff eh
@yerboidazza There's excited and just plain weird... sorry, it's just a train man! ... but, but, a door, it has a door ! 🤣😂🤣😂
Pity a council could not buy some carriages, convert would give some people a start in life.Plenty going for scrap
They done that with the Glasgow Subway carriages, but there were far too expensive in my opinion
mk3 coaches are so overrated
🤷♂️🤷♂️ it’s just a cool wee overnight stay!

@yerboidazza thanks 😊
It’s official Daz has gone crazy and has too much money
