Beautiful little town... btw my ancestors were some of the founding families and were the owners of Chinsegut Hill (as its called now). Though i didn't grow up there...Brooksville will always have a special place in my heart.
Have visited Brooksville, having approached it from Tallahassee. A lovely, unspoiled small town. Was really taken with the surrounding countryside-rural, gently rolling, and watered. Beautiful. Imagine Ocala much like it before ruined by planners and developers. Keep your rural countryside. Few beautiful ones left as the state is over developed and over populated. I know. I live in a beach town in South Florida.

I have many struggles to stay and live better in Florida , and till this day I will try again but this time far away from y own culture that as we speak is dominating the central Orlando regions in numbers .. Wish to find another town less populated but a little welcoming to men like myself seeking a slower pace and a not soo loud life … I’m glad to see thsi video about Florida towns ..

Never been to Brooksville but I'm dying to visit as soon as I can. Looks amazing.
This is a small town. Main Street program is trying to make the town more attractive to incomers. The Blueberry Festival is a good time to visit.
