Make sure you find a good doctor that doesn’t want you on it for life. Withdrawals of subs is awful.

@bobo8778 it is based on the patient. Coming off too quickly will only lead to relapse. I was on it for 6 years before I felt stable enough to taper off. It took me 6 months to taper but I felt zero withdrawal. Hope this helped.

@@bobo8778 I was on it for 8 years and tapered off for months, but had terrible withdrawals for 6 months so I gave in and went back on it. Its been 10 years now that I have been stuck on it.
I took it 8hrs after last hydrocodone and it has worked fine sp far
So my sister wants to start very small amounts because she tried half of a 2mg or 4mg and got very sick. The only thing that worked was her cuttin the strip into small pieces and takin a tiny piece. She wants to get off opiods before her next scripts and was wondering how soon can she start the Suboxone. Good to know you said 8hrs after because some sites on here were saying 72hrs she wont make it through 24hrs it will make her just go bak on the pill she is on 10mg percocet and a muscle relaxer she wants to get off both. it did for me when i first started but now you’re right. even after 24h i felt a little weird and popes a sun and with into immediate precipitated withdrawl but i think because i waited so long my first time it was completely out.
It worked for me I detoxed from fentanyl using suboxone and if I had kept with my treatment and had gone to rehab as I should’ve it would’ve gotten me off it completely but since my dumbass didn’t go to rehab I ended up relapsing
