It's cool to have the anime voice actors revoice the characters. I do prefer the older Josuke voice, I really love his delivery, but anime voice still does good work.
I'm fine with that, the sound effects are good for the anime, but for a game (specially a fighting game with constant action going on), it would be too ear piercing to constantly hear all those bass boosted punches and stuff
Old josuke does not fit the 16 year old teenager voice but if we get past that it sounds almost perfect, the delivery on that last DORA was phenomenal.

In this video Yukako voice in ASBR spund good, but then there is Avdol who sounds terrible, or Josuke that doesn't sound natural at all or his Crazy Diamond lacks the "Crazy" part. I think the worst cases of this will probably show on Giorno (would be a shame if anime VA sounded duller compared to ASB/EoH), Buccellati & Hol Horse (ASB/EoH voices are on another level compared to Anime), and Rohan.

The argument of Josuke always being angry during battle isn’t true at all, in fact him always being angry actually goes agaisnt his character. Josuke’s character is both charming AND scary, not just scary. He’s never stuck always being angry/scary during stand battles. Theres little to none exceptions to this rule: Josukes hair insult and Kira murdering his best friend. Sources: Super fly episode, Red Hot Chili Pepper final showdown episode, Enigmia episode when Josuke gets released, the aqua man episode when josukes house becomes misted by the stand, and finally the doll mimic episode. I absolutely HATE how almost every character is stuck voicing 1 mood/emotion 90% of the time when it should change to fit the situation.

The new one only got his “in control” vibe and lost the rest of it. Again voice actor is 10/10 but direction is bad
I love both but I would say they both fit differently. The old one fits the game itself better while the new one fits the anime better. He was absolutely AMAZING in the anime. A lot of the anime VAs are great, the delivery just wasn't as good in the game this time because of the directing
