Reverse Toneh was pure gold.
Is still, not was🤣
The sound of this lens focusing is a tiny hamster running in its wheel to shift the elements.
Almost pee'd my pants at 9:05ish. Just out of nowhere..... You're a lunatic, You're a lunatic, You're a lunatic. OMG and the old lady in the car!! You are priceless and f'n hysterical. I laughed so hard. Thank you once again for being you!! And I did buy a T-shirt!!
Rest assured, your channel survives another day. 📷
Thank you for making me laugh my friend . I really needed it this morning .. 🙏🏼
Hello Police
There is some guy on the sidewalk talking to some guy named Tony to a camera on a stick.
Oh it’s been about 8 minutes.
"f3.Tonay5" I just DIED!!!
I have the XT200 and the kit lens does a decent job when vlogging if you have lens and digital IS enabled. With the 10-24 at 10mm it's pretty rough. Add digital IS to the equation and you have a big wobbly mess of an image . I'm going to keep it for photos and handheld video shots. I'm hoping the Fuji Assassins come up with some magic update via firmware. The Digital Gimbal is about the worst thing I have seen in a camera EVER. Just don't. The 1080 120p is pretty darn good in my testing. Cheers.
I know this is from a while back, but did you ever manage to get decent found out of it? I got a deal on one and went for it, but I'm so shocked by the sound quality. Even with a powered mic and turning the line in to -30....if you found a solution let me know
I'm sure the neighbors think you have Asperger's and are just using the camera as an excuse to talk to yourself.
Excellent idea! I will do it! ... How come, I didn't think about it earlier?
ooooof the noise in the whole video
Is that a lump in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me? Love the innovative T stops on those lenses! Keep it up, you brighten my day in so many weird ways. :)
I love the music choices. I just want to see you walk inside one of those houses. DO IT!!!!
If you want smooth continuous autofocus, you don't want the 10-24, you prob just want the 18-55 or 16-80 or the 16mm 2.8 those are the lenses that will behave in the way you want. (well there are others but they are all too heavy for your street stuff)
When you realise the word Toneh was engineered by the Northrups to cement their status in the photography world to sell more stunning digital photography books sponsored by squarespace...
Oh and sdp io 😂
😂 Keep doing this you are the best 👍the ninjas, the street cross, the Tonyeh and all the rest ist really good 👍
Hey! I saw that the Idolcam people are using you to sell their product now! So -- can we see the Idolcam in the studio with lots of blurry background?????
Its almost midnight in Malaysia here and decided to watch your video before sleep 😁
Love your video as always! But yeah I hugely prefer your outdoor video with Gopro or Idolcam over this Fuji (those distracting autofocus & shaky compensation, but love the Toneh!). I believe the best studio camera for you would be the Sony A6x00 and Fuji T-X4 imo. Cheers!
The 18 with digital Ibis actually Looks pretty damn good
When the af works on face after standing still for 8min
*searches for a 'branch' channel, finds new passion*
Pro Neg Std is the best for the X-T200. Shadows -2 ,Highlights -2
Which is better pound for pound! Sony A6100 vs Fuji Xt200? Dpreview gave the win to the 200.
Not gonna lie, the stabilisation with the kit zoom is very good, no need of EIS!
The image quality looks stunning outside(inside was terrible)!!!!! Try the HDR VIDEO next time please!!!
DeepteshLovesTECH the evf is garbage on the 6100 and no picture profiles. Probably worse ergonomics too
Fuji's 18mm f2 lens is one of the oldest, first three released interchangeable lenses in 2012 along with 35mm f1,4 and 60mm f2,4 macro, on a X-Pro1, and I guess those lenses have autofocus motors borrowed from 90's DSLR lenses.
I think you should go to NAB and interview people that would be hysterical. Of course only if you brought along your humour and sarcasm and honesty.
Colour and contrast on the outdoors shoot reminds me of old Philip Bloom videos
You’re so right about camera companies not wanting you to have their cameras - they would much rather give their products to all the sell out camera channels who only do positive reviews
How can anyone dislike this video......?
7:40 the fuji-Assasins secretly implemented Brain-AF: just the moment you thougt of branches it focusses on them. 8:33 And when you focused on the background it does it too. It‘s a feature!
OMG, I almost choke while watching this and having lunch at the same time.... reverse Tone was the best!!
There is digital ghost medium noises in the background when you went outside.
Guss Parkingboard !! so simple and yet so damn funny .I.ll say it again comedy genius!
Video looks really good during the vlogging. As far as quality and colors go. It's a bit shaky but not terrible. Also some warping but again not terrible. AF was pretty bad. This camera is severally gimped.
Pretty good for casual vlogging. I thought it would be much worse. However, 18mm must be renewed as soon as possible.
I hate merch, but I think I want to but a Camera Conspiracies T-Shirt.
Looking forward to when you get your hands on a FujiFilm X-T4 again!
Omg the audio sounds like we’re entering the matrix lol Sheesh Fuji needs to fix that..bad!
Diana Gladney - EntreWoman TV Yeah, it's pretty bad, but I highly doubt Fuji can fix the audio since it seems to be a hardware issue. Bad pre-amps can't be fixed by firmware, and being an entry-level camera makes less likely to get significant firmware updates as well.
@@AbdonPhirathon That's a great point! I wondered if something like that would be the case or if they could make some minor improvements like DJI did with Osmo Pocket. I think you're right though, that small of a budget camera, unless they change something in production on later models, this camera is a no go for video.
The old lady in the car was looking in her purse for her Canadian pennies to pay for lunch at Howard Johnsons....
Those preamps are noisier than a neglected child on their birthday.
“T2.8” ... LMAO!!!!
The quality is sooooo much better, not even close
Lol l have a 5d mk 2, the first fhd full frame and it makes smoother exposure adjustments.
You had me at Gus Parkingboard.
You convinced me. I'm starting a branch channel.
Wow - The first lens sounds like it has IBS when it focuses. 😄😄 P.S. To me, there are some places where the Fuji makes it seem like you are walking in front of a green screen with a street scene added in later. But it could just be me eyes 🤪
I would have to go with the GoPro. It is the worry-free option. No worries about going out of focus. No worries about camera shake. Almost no settings to worry about. Fits in your pocket. And it doesn't call too much attention to yourself. And way easier for slow-mo street crossings. It is just missing a good zoom for squirrel chasing. Just carry the GoPro for vlogging and pack a RX100 7 in your pocket for the wildlife scenes.
Also has bad lowlight
@@s3tsun444___ Maybe put an RX100 V in the other pocket? That's the smallest decent low-light camera I know of. Other options?
The sounds of the auto focus comes from the "cappa cooplah" 5:49 that resides within
I'm testing one of these myself. One thing I noticed is that making sure that the camera and lenses all have the latest firmware loaded. As for the 18mm, I think it's one of Fuji's oldest lenses. I wouldn't expect much from the AF with it, but when it does catch focus, it's a beautiful thing. Where I think the Fuji's struggle is in object tracking. Unlike Sony, when the face/eye-tracking gives up, the focus goes back to the selected autofocus point, which may have nothing to do with what you want to focus on. Sony (and I think Canon) will switch to object tracking and back. But, oh yeah, that SCREEN!
Also, most of the adjustments are there, under the hood in this camera -- but you've gotta dig for it.
The digital stabilization looks pretty ok I think. Not perfect and a bit warpy, but good enough to look at. You can definitely see the faster shutter speed though!
Too bad about the picture profiles not being configurable though.
I'll better wait for the A7Y with 10-bit and flipup screen!
The 18mm looked fantastic !
My GOD, it's so cold there in Canada...We can feel your pain! Yes, I'm a broken record...Skip Mexico, come to Florida...All the FRESH Orange Juice you could possibly want here!!
Toneh is the only word I'll accept from now on
Oddly enough I had similar issues with the fuji kit lens that everyone loves. I thought it was pretty soft and mine made horrible noises while focusing but I bought it used and assumed that was all of them. I thought that was normal and sold mine until I tried a friend's brand new fuji with the 18-55 and it was MUCH more silent and I was kind of bummed about mine, I'm wondering if maybe that focus mechanism is just weak as shit and breaks often and thats why some people experience super loud focusing when others don't
Reversed toneh got me 🤣🤣🤣👍🏻
The parts done on the fuji was as hard to watch as ijustine and her sister on the same vlog together. Kinda makes you wanna kick puppies.
That reverse toneh was pretty excellent.
The XC lenses are actually pretty decent within their design goals. But one of those goals was to be cheaper.
Even without the Eterna profile of life the colors on the X-T200 were way better than on the GoPro. The GoPro was hands down better with stabilization. The 18mm lens is old and without a linear motor so the noise and slow focus is no shock. The reverse Toneh was pure gold. There was a lot of warping when you were working out as in really bad warping.
Fuji may in the future improve the gimbal mode/digital stabilization but I would not expect the Eterna profile of life to show up since this camera uses a different sensor-processor pair than then X-T30/X-T3/X-T4.
what firmware have you got on the F2 18mm . My 18mm says lens version 3.1 firmware when you turn on the camera while holding the DISP BACk button, that really helps on the focusing... but im sure you are up to date
At 3:00 I was just about to bail, but you kept it entertaining I'm glad I stuck with until the end. Outdoors it's not bad, good color and rendering are for the most part pretty good but a bit too contrasty and over saturated so looks plastic and may be hard to grade unless it's real 10 bit. Image detail is very good. Stab is ok, a bit of jello but useable unless you are running a marathon.
Kasey, man, thanks for doing this review, I was seriously considering an X-T200 as a starting point and then getting the X-T4 as a primary body later. Looks the digital stabilization is sad and it just doesn't perform like the X-T30 or X-T3 or anything else out there. Cheap Fuji send cheap.
Oh well, Micro 4 loser 3rds it is for me. Olympus all the way and their glorious image stabilization. Possibly a G85 as the first body and an OM-D EM-1 Mark III, your favorite camera 😛.
Love your vids!
The fuji colours are amazing and the quality is way better than the go pro . Except the ibis part xt30 is miles ahead .
Oh God, it's reverse Toneh
I am always confused for a second when you say T2.8 or whatever, because for a short moment I think you actually have a T-Stop lens.
Reversed Toneh seems quite reliable though
Except for the bad bitrate, I think Idolcam is really good for vlogging
Haha .. 'Kasey the camera detective'..
I wanted to copy your idee , for metaldetectors ...but i could never be so funny bri 🤪🤣...
I don't have The *TONEH* 🤣🤣💪
Ok what the hell do i have to do to get you to bring the blue light back!
It looks good to me 👍. " Go watch a branch channel 😁" LOL 😆
That 18mm f2 is glorious. Combine that with the XT4 and you have it.
Hi Gus Parkingboard, the only thing I really didn't like was the weird 'tinkling' noise with the audio I noticed in some parts. Was that the camera even?
Agreed, it looks better outside than in the studio.
Toneh? Is that what you youngsters are calling it now? I can dig it. Groovy.
The glorious Jaywalking Test
Sounds cold. Leave that place and come with me to warmer weather. I don’t know where yet but Wyoming is too cold for me
Fuji has more cinema look and quality vs gopro cellphone look alike + fisheye. 08:40 It fell in love with that mansion. Studio could be doable if add +1 or +2
ev. Good content anyway could use maybe part2. :p
You're a Genius.. Great channel..
Hi Kasey! Was there any noise reduction on the sound? It gurgles. Maybe just because of the reverse Toney. So it's not Your fault.
gonna buy it soon for the image quality not for video, but its a known fact that focusing is a problem on this and few others fujis and the sound signal is definitely coming somewhere from Venus
8:57 Henot
Get it, reverse toneh
Af issues aside, when it was in focus the footage looked really good
yes, the 18mm f2 looked really nice when you walked - 10:08
Whew! At the start I thought it was going to be another bash fest on my beloved EOS R!
Reverse ton-eh, my fave bokeh🤣
Ask Henry's if they can lend you an E-M1 III, they now got better face & eye AF, proper auto ISO in movie mode, and slow mo. Try if you can apply the Eterna LUT on their log mode. Stick your 15mm Leica on it and be happy, or try the 12mm f/2, or the 9-18mm zoom. The only thing you'll hate is only 8 bit recording.
Ok, I give the camera 6 out of 10. Its good enough, not the best but not the worst. On another topic, @10:57 I was laughing so hard I think the neighbors were looking at me. Hahahahaha
On not being allowed to film plays, I've done 3 times, got paid 800 dollars a pop too. Wish I had auto focus, I only had a t3i.
You stay in focus well most of the time but the color saturation keeps changing. Seems worse than just handling the changes in sunlight brightness poorly. The stabilization certainly not on par with the Panasonic G85. Carrying these cameras around all day with outstretched arm is certainly why you need that Monkey Strength.
Gus Parkingboard? That’s just ridiculous 😂
Can you make the autofocus faster on the settings? Or is it the maximum?
How many gerbils does it take to power that Fuji autofocus lens????
Welp. I learned much more about Canadian currency than I ever expected. I wish the US would get rid of pennies. I have jars of them, too heavy to even take to a coin exchange center.
I was surprised when I visited France a few years ago to find that Euros below €5.00 are in coins. €2.00 coins look like video game arcade tokens.
Oh yeah. That camera is indeed crap.
We need to have a vlog-off. We can have Gerald as the judge. X-T200 has a no-name processor that’s probably 5 years old, that’s why it sucks for video.
Have you tried the 18-55 kit lens? Seems a bit better built with metal mount and not a bottle cap used as the lens cap... 2.8-4 and OIS so might work?
Great lens, but heavy.
@@cameraconspiracies Hm, 310g.. a bit hefty yeah. Too bad!
Your so mean to all these cameras, every Canadian I have ever met were so kind and polite, what happened to you in Thailand young man 🤣
IMO, far too much vibration. Is it because the earth is flat?
lol
Tonehhhh may be asking for financial compensation Everytime you say his name.
The problem is not the camera but the lens you used. 14mm and 18mm are the ancient lens of Fuji. It is known for not so good focus speed. Try the the latest ones. 56 1.2 / 16 1.4 are the lenses with fastest AF to name a few.
15:00 would you like some lens with your flippy screen?
Were all saved Canon has just announced the r5 8k dual pixel auto focus and eye, body and face for animals ! no crop on 8k your dream camera is on its way ! no word on canon cripple hammer and what its planning tho ?
You should do an episode completely in reverse toneh.
🦅 & this is how u assassinate entry-levels... 😅😅
I would imagine the crane m2 would be a simple solution for any of your stability needs? Maybe you've already tried it? Dont remember. But that thing is tiny and light and easily no bigger or heavier than your usual monopod things that you usually use when you walk around vlogging
he is sending fuji assasins to you for recommending a gimbal...
ua-cam.com/video/KwGqyZnwjdA/v-deo.html
I don't mind that digital stabilization. And the 18mm f2 looked pretty nice - light setup too! That's almost half of my a6500/ Sigma 16mm combo. But the autofocus.....
