This man has the best reviews. The competition isn't close. The quality of his videos and the way he explains. Very clean background and clean hands. I'm interested to know how you store all your tools in your shop. Another great video, keep it coming.
I have a makita shopvac and I suspect the crevice tool doesn't seal properly with the hose, so immediately when you showed the Rockler adapter I thought that's gonna solve it - but wow that's definitely a premium item with that price. I guess it's an incentive to try and see if an oring does the job lol
Instead of cutting your carpenter square get yourself a shinwa or tajima saw guide I have several at various lengths as well as the angle ones they’re great. Shinwa saw guide rail ruler 300mm 78217 and shinwa neo 73161 and shinwa saw guide ruler foldable T slide they make a 300mm, 600mm and a 900mm.
Makita really needs to pick a dust port size or two and stick to it, they've got to be the worst tool maker in that regard. It's amazing and frustrating that in the same saw family they have two sizes, and every grinder/router whatever else has a different size. 😵💫 Just copy festool and pick 27/32mm depending on whether it makes dust or chips and STICK WITH IT. Please!
Scott Brown has a good vid on this saw. He’s a carpenter from New Zealand, great UA-cam channel
