Those Vessel Stubby bits (9:43) are interesting. Mainly the bit holder device itself. I recently got a Japan Tool Haul I did a video on, and one of my off brand Japanese tools had a similar bit holder. I wonder why they are designed that way!
7:45 apoke with Vessel about this and they said we have never had anyone complain about this which is bonkers to me. I guess rhey juwt never use em so no one complains.
Excellent video, very informative, I like the electricians knife. The other tools are interesting too. After watching your video on the wera 838 screwdriver, I ordered the smaller one in a set with 50 mm long bits. Very nice ratchet for fine work. 👍👍👍
838 only fits in the new advent calendar 2024 tool check. It won't fit in the typical tool check. Did a quick video about that here: ua-cam.com/video/ZOeXPOkjGZ8/v-deo.htmlsi=hVBby7HWKgDub7iF
Please do a decibel test on the Makita screwdriver, I replace a lot of Locks on school classrooms and have to remove them with a hand powered screwdriver if the class is in session so my impact driver doesn’t bark and disrupt the kids. I’m hoping that’s quiet enough to do the job , the screws are not ever super tight but have multiple that are usually pretty long. Thanks !
If you don’t need the impact functionality, check out the powered ball screwdriver by vessel. He did a review of one not long ago on the channel, but got for the usb c model as it’s the newest and has the most torque 👍
@@transatlant1c I’m going to pick one of those up but I used to have a Panasonic and Milwaukee a long time ago and I loved the way I could swap batteries on the fly. Just picked up the Metabo in 3.6 on Amazon for $59.00 bucks but have not had a chance to try in the field and I am afraid I would go through the small batteries too quick. I have always had excellent luck with Makita just not sure which to pick up I’m afraid the impact model might be louder. Thanks I am going to pick up the vessel for shop work.
OTTERBOX Defender can handle drops quite well, the Commuter series looks similar but isn't as bulky but not as good as the Defender series in my opinion.
great review. Question: so you cant change the drill bit on the StarM drill adapter? And because of the japanese Torx bits: maybe Im just too stupid to find one but it seems that there is no T27 as a japanese bit. At least not from Vessel and Anex. A few cheap brands have a t27 in their 65mm torx bit sets.
Love vessel products but do not put your trust in the bit holder for the stubby bits. I did and lost 2 within 6 hours found 1 but it got pushed around the clean room for who knows how long by a water spider cart so the black finish wore off on 3 sides. Never found the second one! Rest in peace short 3mm I didn't know you well but you will be missed!
Holy Crap, just for 1 PB Swiss Tools 1/4" PrecisionBit with nanocoating for Torx Screws, Size T27 is $55.76 in Canada. That is just for 1 bit. Not sure where you are from but you can keep those PB Swiss tools with at that cost.
I don't pay anywhere near that much. 10% even 15% off coupon codes come along a couple times a year as well. pbtools.us/pb-e6l-400-long-1-4-power-bits-for-torx-screws_c215.htm
I do have old videos about that but I have not done the process for several years. Maybe it has changed? I have noticed that the level of integration between my German Amazon account and my USA Amazon account is more than with the JP account. Amazon JP is a bit of an outlier in terms of integrating with Amazon USA at least from an Associate (Affiliate) point of view. FYI
Just ordered that knife! Looks great
I love that vessel knife
thx for a video.👍
Nice tools 👍
Can’t wait to see the next video of the Makita 👍👍
I have a Makita electric screw driver, with torque limiter, 2 speed, led light. Very good

I’ve really been getting into tethers, I have a bunch of Top ones and the NWS tether set, a mito etc

Size wise how does the Wera 838 compare to the wera 813? Basically could a 838 fit in a tool check?

Can you share on how to source the drill bit adapters for the detent bits ??
I put all the links in the description. Did I miss one?
Nah your good
Really informative and very helpful ❤ thanks. From Thailand fans.
I much prefer the plastic Makita case for the pen impacts... Stacks with other Makita cases too (df012dse case)
How would you rate the densan knife?

Thank you for your content! Can I ask what is the model of your telephone case which seem cool to me?

I read the title as “an electrical knife” 😂

Omg that's nuts. In UK when you can find them they were about 4 quid for a 1/4 but and 7 for a ESL bit

Can I shop Amazon Japan with my American account? How does that work?
No you have to make one
he has a video or two all about it

Knife vessel bad
Putting that nice blade into a cheap clicky plastic handle feels wrong
you mean a "light and comfortable" plastic handle? 😁

Very interesting! Thank you. I was not familiar with the term Gimlet.
@@BZEUG try it the next normal type screw you insert.
