It upsets me that there are so little viewers, likes, and subs
when AMain Hobbies provides such useful and important info,
and there are thousands of people that are in RC 😕
Yeah but not everyone is willing to pour around $400 and beyond on an RC car.
maybe more people is into offroad bashing, than indoor touring racing
So about a 1000 dollars and I'm the king of the local tennis court lol
yokomo as usual....1 of the most solid and well engineered Rc kits ever...i own several brands of rc,,,,yokomo definitely 1 of my top fav
Super awesome videos man You obviously know your stuff across all platforms and you present that information in a easy to digest way videos seem to be aimed for beginners witch is fine but I still like watching maybe it’s the catchy jingle keep em coming thank you
Thanks Jordan! Happy you enjoy the videos.
-Brett
Always a ton of good info. thanks AMain
Another awesome video from Brett!
Sick . Thank you for the detailed review. I have been lookinh for a good race Touring car again. Last time I raced was 2003 a TC4.
Yes Brett 💥 Amain ain't the same without u man😎, and str8 back with a Yokomo 🍻🎩 killer move 🎓
Just picked up a YD-2S. It is a nice kit. Might have to add this one to the stable. When will they be back in stock?
We're hoping no more than a few weeks, but we're waiting to hear back from Yokomo. The virus scare has caused lots of delays, we hope to get our inventory back up soon.
-Brett
I remember the Yokomo I bought from you! That was my first on-road sedan!
Oh yeah, what was that; a MR4 TC or something like that?
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies maybe. You would probably know better than me!
Interesting tires, never seen studded buggy style tires for on road touring. Cool car
Yeah, they are very interesting. The knobbies are very hard material, excellent at digging into the carpet material.
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies I've been looking for good "office carpet" tires for my touring car; I'm definitely going to try these! Why the narrow instead of the 24/25 size?
@@a1k0n To remove grip. I'm told the regular width had too much bite.
-Brett
Do you guys sell wide rear tires for touring cars?
They're not called wide but these are wider: www.amainhobbies.com/schumacher-sst-mini-pins-24-25-2-yellow-schu6624/p385293?v=241554
-Brett
Holly crap tiers and wheels
Brett ! Sups. It's Roger again. You still got your Roadrunner Express sedan from back in the day ?
No unfortunately, but wish I did. I still remember the first time I watched Samsong Fong (spelling?) wheel that thing around Sheldons. RCMart bought the brand and was trying hard to get us to carry it, but for whatever reason we didn't. Are you trying to pick up one of those cars?
-Brett
Nice looking car the bd10, recently been watching the Yokomo ETS race in Andernach Germany and Ronald Volker certainly looked fast with this car from the videos.
I would always go with the carbon chassis.
Carbon is way lighter than aluminum.
what about durability wise like banging into the boards which is better ?? also l noticed belt arrangement is different between BD9 & BD10 can you tell me why that is ?? thanks
Just adding a 👍 from here!
Looking for a 1/10 touring car. What do you recommend
These Yokomo Touring Cars are excellent options. But are you looking for a kit, or an assembled ready-to-run model? Serpent offers their S411 in RTR form and it's pretty nice: www.amainhobbies.com/serpent-s411-1-10-rtr-4wd-electric-touring-car-ser400007/p245047
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies I don’t mind doing a kit. But the serpent might be more in the price range for how often I would use it. Trying to focus on my b74.1d build right now. Ran into a few issues that I got straightened out. But now my steering seems to be slightly bound after I installed the axles I believe. Any ideas?
@@murphcore88 You're assembling the vehicle now and the steering is binding after installing the axles and hubs? Did the axles feel bound up when you assembled them? Maybe the steering knuckle is bound in the steering hub? Shouldn't be though. Hmm, that's a tough one without being able to see it.
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies well you should fly out and check it out. Lol. Ya I still need to look into that
If it is as good as the YR-4 was 15+ years ago, it rips.
These look sweet but there is not one place in my state that runs these. I have never seen one of these run other then bashed on the street
Sadly, on-road has somewhat fallen out of favor in the United States, but thankfully it is still going strong in other parts of the world. Different R/C's fall in and out of style depending on the current trends. It all comes around. Touring cars are also great street bashers and can be made to be really, really fast! But something like the Traxxas 4-Tec would be more ideal for that applications, rather than this refined and expensive race car.
-Brett
You're running only 21,5t motors?! In Germany, we are running 17,5t with a 5.0:1 gear ratio.
Here in Curitiba we run 8.5t with 4,50 final gear ratio
@@MarcoAurelio-vi2wd But we are driving on indoor tracks, which aren't that big as the American ones.
Yes, it is strange isn't it.
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies I don't know...
But it's cool that you're answering so many commentarys.
It's a mix of 17.5 and 21.5. Some started going to 21.5's and the lap times went down. The track is fairly small so not a lot of power is needed.
I need to update the electronics and motor in my 2002 yokomo sedan.
What! They wouldn't let you drive?? AWWWWW!😢😮🙄😁
So about 1200 hundred and I'm good lol
Awwww...... no Vroom vroom
Wow you must pay your employees good lol
wrong tires on the car lol
a bit toooooooooo expensive isnt it
No.
