4 stripe blue..... I hit this today on a fellow blue belt. Didn't ge the finish from the choke cause my knee wasn't right on the neck correctly, but as I was working the choke, I noticed his leg dangling so transitioned to a knee bar and got the tap. Will definitely be keeping this one in my back pocket. Thanks

Good morning my Friend ! We lovingly call this move of yours the "Aussie Strangle" , as it helps us remember . Yesterday in a 3 Academy Open mat I applied this move ... your move " Aussie Strangle " very friendly like and slowly on a fellow training partner. He wants me to show him the move so he can record it ... and I said to him " sir, I can do even better.. I learned this move from Tom Davey and I will send you the video and it will be good for me to review the video as well! " What is cool about this training partner is that he knew right away who you were as he too attended the day your came through Colorado back in the day !! I think we need to change up our name of your move to Aussie Lasso , as when people hear us coach from the sideline and say get em with the Aussie Strangle ( the opponent really wakes up and plays defense lol ) . Just writing to give credit where credit is due, and we really appreciate you very much ! I will be sharing this video shortly and I am sure my friend over here will pass your video on as well. be carefull guys! someone did a variation from this super fast to me. (basicly without the leg, just as a loop choke) i lost my voice for 2 weeks, pain when swallow, .. just!!! from the hard part of the lapel hitting my windpipe so fast.
So what youre saying is it works

@Semper Fi Shut up princess. The pain is goes away in a week and it happens often when defending a choke, so tap early.

I just learned a nice lapelle choke.it starts allmost simulair like this one. But you first grab the inside of the collar with the right hand and sneaky grab the lapelle with you right hand then you hipescape to the right and pull the lapelle up and behind the back of the head and pull like a crosscollar choke. You will get an easy tap after that. Thanks for this one professor 🤙👍🏻🙏
