Instead of switching fingers I found that putting my fingers 1 on the E string 4th fret, 2nd finger on B string 5th fret, and 3rd finger G String 6th fret was better than changing positions for the main plucking part
this is the first song I learn... I feel quite amazing, lol.

Best feeling is learning your first song
I've only been playing for about a month but this tutorial was easy enough for me to follow along. I got the song down pretty well in an afternoon. I wanted to learn because my cat, Joker, passed away 3 days ago and this song reminds me of him. Thank you for helping me learn it.

They're really solid and built to last. In short, I fully recommend them but always try out the guitar you want to buy. Thank you so much! I'm pretty new to playing guitar. my sister learned it though and she played this song and it seemed fairly easy. (for a beginner anyways) she id back in africa now(long story) and i thought it would be cool to learn to play a few songs. this has helped so much and once i get the hang of it I'm going to try singing and playing it at the same time. then I'm going to bring my guitar on my bus and have a campfire moment (I'm THAT kind of person)

Very good. Isn't it easier to just keep the same 3 finger shape for the whole song? No need for a change during the verse. I'm only a real beginner and found this much easier, plus it aids with your confidence. Thanx for the lesson. Spot on.

I have a question : for the verse, why don't we press all three fingers (4-Ehigh string / 5-B string / 6-G-string) all at once so we don't have to go between the 2 positions ?
Works just fine my guess is this is a beginner guitar lesson so it more for people to get comfy with chord changes

The intro can be made easier with no finger change just a pattern change by pressing down 1st/bottom string fret 4 .next string up fret 5 and next string above that fret 6. For me I think is easier that the quick finger change

I like all genre's of music to listen to, but in terms of teaching I prefer acoustic/rock/folk. That kind of vibe.
