I have lived in Tucson all my life and this isn't even the half of the good food here, There's sooooooo many more places to eat in Tucson, I traveled a lot and tried a lot of Mexican food and all kinds from Chinese, to Arabic oh and the Somali you name it we have it. I always missed the food in Tucson, I never want to live anywhere else, and I don't know any other place that has salalitoes.and no where have I tasted the salsa that's better than Tucson, and the people here make you feel welcomed and apart of their familys.I LOVE YOU TUCSON AZ.🌵🍋🍞🍅🍉🌮🥗🍢🍕🍹🍸🍻🏜🏚🏠🏡🏘🏣🏥🌞

We do have lots of different kinds of foods out here and I swear we got the best Sonoran hot dogs at 👉🏽"Aqui con El Nene"👈🏽many will disagree with me and say that it's "El Guero Canelo" but nope!! NENE's is where it's at!!! 😋 Oh and btw its "SALADITOS" but you were close enough either way. I knew what you meant. Another thing you need to try is the fruit bags they sell here at some of the liquor stores. Fruit bags in lemon juice with SALADITOS!!! Omg it's fuckin delicious!!! 💯👌👍
Heroes116 I agree El Nene is where it’s at. The carne asada tacos at El Nene are a million times better than at APSON. APSON serves you burnt carne asada that is worse than jerky. On the other hand APSONS barbacoa tacos are so good!

I'm in Cali now, but I first arrived in Tucson in 1980. I lived there for a bit over 23 years. It IS a place you never forget. I do miss the Uptown Saturday Night festivities too. There are so many places that I still miss even though I've been gone for so long. Ah, good times . . .
I lived in Tucson from late 2011-2017. The food was to die for. I’m going to gain a whole LOT of weight when I get back there to visit. Loooooooooved the food there, the people, too.

Maybe I'm spoiled but none of these compare to the places back in Philly Jersey and New York. Tacos Los Apson and BK Taqueria are great for decent Mexican food.

Tacos Apson on 12th is street tacos @their best. Some are not for the typical 'gringo', which I'm not. I've enjoyed cabeza (face), lengua (tongue) & even testicles - muy delicioso!

Sorry, new to Tucson. Tried Taco Apson...I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Not only did the tacos and sauces not taste good. My entire order wasn't given to me. I arrived home feeling suckered!

I was born in Tucson and it is not a foodie place! If you’ve been to California or Las Vegas or New York then you’ll be disappointed when you eat the food in Tucson. Tucson loves restaurants like Jerry Bob’s! We have made strides in the last couple years with restaurants like Trident, The Keg, Brazilian steakhouse etc.
Tucson would be a Great Place just send the Democrats to California and the food will taste alot better. Cleaner hands to start with. Democrats will have Tucson like San Francisco in no time.
Tucson is turning into a "sanctuary city", the liberals here are so excited for it.

I'm not even Mexican and I can out cook any Mexican Restaurant in Tucson (not bragging). Rice, beans and tortillas, messing that up is very difficult except for Mexican Restaurants in Tucson. Mostly what you get is rice mix, dehydrated beans and some tasteless meat wrapped in a Walmart tortilla. Even the fancy restaurants are expensive and lousy. Many of the restaurants get their food precooked in plastic bags and just warm it up because the cooks can't cook, are underpaid and angry. A Culinary Destination? For this you show a bakery, a taco shop and small garden growing vegetables that can be grown in sand without much water. I've lived in Tucson for many years and haven't found one place to eat that would ever get me to go back. I couldn't find a single restaurant that could come close to matching a meal that I prepared in my own kitchen and whip out in under 30 minutes and under $10.00 worth of ingredients. Tucson is boring with little to do except sit in an air conditioned box in the middle of the desert, or go to a bar and get drunk on $6.00 bottles of beer. There are lots of cities that have truly great food... Tucson is not one of them. TOS O is correct... Video is BS.

As a native Tucsonan, I can say you are full o'crap. There is so much to do in and around Tucson; definitely more to do there than central Texas. I guess it comes from growing up with only an evaporative cooler instead of an AC. Sonoran-style Mexican food is the BEST.
Try Barrio Bread.. Also, Taqueria Juanitos is the best Mexican food ever

Don't go to Apsons...... Carne asada Meat sucks and burros are very small and expensive
Tucson is a weak but Phoenix is a legit town for grub.
