The Behringer V-Tone is excellent, especially for the money. I bought one in an emergency when my preamp stopped working at a soundcheck late on a Friday afternoon. Luckily, there was a music shop not far from the gig. I bought a V-Tone pedal off them for 60 bucks (Aussie dollars) and got through the gig. I liked it so much, I bought another one the next day, and didn't bother getting my preamp repaired for ages. They are also durable. Mine still work perfectly, despite 10+ years of kicking them, dropping them, etc, etc

I used the same pedal and plugged it straight to the effects loop of a Marshall dsl40c and it sounds great. Awesome pedal

great demo, shame these aren't my kinda tones though, but very decent metal tones, i know some of the behringer pedals are as good as the originals they're based on. I'd love to hear a direct comparison with the tech21, if it's comparable, this would be an absolute steal and save me forking out for the original.
The original will sound better going straight into a board or for direct recording. This is better as a traditional drive pedal. I would honestly get a modelling multi effect pedal. Boss mooer or line 6. Thanks for watching dude!

Does it plugged straight to amplifier?
I'd use the cln option with British, its just so much heavier .... a little graphic EQ pedal after this works wonders. Just not the Behringer one, christ it sounds awful!

That is crazy because I've heard other people useing this pedal and dosent have this tone but when people use cab Sims sounds like this show me the setup please lol
can a joyo amp-in-a-box be plugged into it or after it?
For the money these little bastards just cant be beat. Lost mine & looks like they quit making em. I realize the tm300 is supposed to be basically identical, but to my personal experience, the tm300 has more high end. And it doesn't have the 4th switch on it. You have any thought on the tm300, compared with the GDI21?

@@resington That sucks. You’re like the 3rd of 4th person I’ve heard say that. Wherever mine went, it was in mint condition. Hope whoever has it, is enjoying it. I just bought a used one online, from Guitar Center. If it shits out, hopefully it’ll do it within the 45 days they give, to get a refund. I love the sound of that thing. Always kept mine at home, for bedroom/recording use, only.

The cleans on this are OK. You can try it.

Yeaa man, it doesn't really have a speaker emulated out so you'll need a cab sim pedal or an IR on a DAW.
