OMG, I really wish I could hug you right now. I had tried everything, or so I thought. I had tried oils I had tried nail polish remover. Rubbing alcohol was my first go to. I asked Alexa, I asked Siri, and search Google forms also. All the while I’m gaining frustration because obviously the ink is getting dryer and dryer. This video was helpful and all, but I don't own a pumice stone, so I literally put isopropyl alcohol on my hand then took some sand paper and started sanding away the ink, it worked.

I had ink explosion and it was all over my hands and I used the pumice stone and dawn dish soap and it took all the ink off my hands

Thanks so much for this tip! One of my fountain pens leaked today and my hands were dark green! I looked for something I could use that I already had at home and this was the solution. Saved my weekend as stores are already closed here until the 2nd of January.

She said it was a pumis stone. The dollar tree has them on a handle for your pedicures
Thank you this principle worked! It's just that I don't have the pumice stone. What I did was used my sharpening stone lol. It has the 1000/6000 grit on the respective sides.

This video was so helpful!! I'm a calligrapher and I always have this problem! Some of my inks are water-based and they wash right off with just water but then there's other ones that are a lot more tricky.. like you, I've tried everything!! Until I watched your video so thank you thank you ❤
NEVER DO THIS! It burned my skin so bad!
I guess it depends on what type of skin you have I just now used it because I've got ink all over my hands and I mean ALL OVER and it worked just fine

YES! Just got printer black ink all over my fingers while removing the old and inserting the new cartridge:) HA! Got my Pumice Stone and BOOM! Worked like a charm:)

I’ll keep it a buck with you. My pen exploded during a DnD game one shot and I didn’t have time to fully clean it all the way with respect to the table’s time.
So I let it dry. Now here I am one and a half hours later rubbing coil degreaser on my hands (which is supposedly an irritant) with soap and water. I don’t even know what coil degreaser is.

My hands are full of food dye and felt pens
Spilled ½ a brand new 30ml bottle of Diamine Ancient Copper all over my desk, hands/ papers etc when filling a brand new Sailor 21K pen. Pen and nib flew across the room as the bottle toppled over (oh how I hate Diamines tiny bottles). Pen and nib mercifully undamaged, but ink stains everywhere including my hands, and of course over ½ the ink gone. I had a pumice stone at home. This video was a life saver!
You save my day because my hands were full of marker ink and i had school cause when i was going to school my friend has ink stains on her face then my teacher scolded her cause she said she was making slime then played with ink so that why btw tysm for showing how❤

i got mad while studying when i realised this whole time all i had to do was multiply by 3 and i smashed an ink cartrige that i found in a bin at officeworks with a batton that i got from school at the end of the year that for some reason was in the teachers cubboard
