- We don't deserve dogs. They are so incredibly kind to us. So grateful for everything we do for them. But I don't understand how they could possibly enjoy the food we give them. It's dry. Boring. I'm not saying we shouldn't be grateful for our food. But try to imagine eating the SAME exact thing, every single day. That's why I cooked my dog, Leo, a gourmet three-course meal.

Fun fact: dogs don’t have as many taste receptors as we humans, meaning that when they eat their food they’re are always as excited as the first time they ate it or just as excited as we get when we eat our favorite foods.

Ahh, this brings back the last day I had with my first pupper. He had cancer, so my parents were going to put him down. The day before he left, I cooked him a three course meal too. Chicken bites for the appetizer, a whole 3 bone rack of lamb and broccoli for the main, and Banana icecream (he loved bananas so much) for dessert.
He absolutely GORGED himself on everything like a king.
Unfortunately it all came back up because it was just too much, but he still looked SO satisfied and content.
Love you Buddy, hope you enjoyed it.

I make gourmet meals for my dogs from literally every cuisine in the world that I can make. On the weekly. Usually, they get good balanced whole foods. I love this video(fun fact: the reason of cooking good meals for my dogs gives me a side reason to make good food for myself)

Yeah I loved cooking for my dog, then my mom started complaining about the smell (I cooked him liver and she hates the smell of liver) so now it's just natural grain free food.

First off, love your videos :)
Second, be careful feeding Leo human food! Dogs can eat *some* kinds of human food, but if they eat too much fat , usually from human food(especially in one sitting), they can get something called pancreatitis. My dog got it a few weeks ago, it's very lethal and if you dont notice the signs immediately and bring them to a vet asap, they can die very easily or have permanent damage caused to their pancreas and other surrounding organs.

I have been thinking of getting my dog off of kibble, would you mind sharing what you put in your dog’s food when you cook for them?
@@alexisrelyea5709 I find protein (Usually chicken nowadays with crazy-high beef prices) On sale at the grocery or Costco and cook that with veggies. Some herbs like rosemary, basil, and ginger are fine for dogs to keep variety in their menu. I keep that in the fridge and do half kibble (Blue Mountain is great) for crunchiness. I usually find really good prices by watching sales on hormone/preservative-free chicken in bulk and freeze it.
By seasonings do you mean herbs?? They’re actually insanely healthy for dogs! Rosemary and parsley (commonly found in store bought food/treats) are good for bad breath/digestion, cinnamon helps stabilize blood sugar (in diabetic dogs), basil helps with brain function, ginger is good for nausea, etc! ☺️
Unrelated to dogs but does anyone have a cat? She loves chicken and I wanted to cook a meal for her, especially since she is a mother of 4. Figured that she will need all the energy she needs to continue caring for her kids

my old hamster was also named Leo, and everyday I prepared little meals for him with different vegetables, meats and seeds we had. we we’re very close and he always fell asleep in my hands, or on my shoulder while I was doing stuff. It’s so long ago, but it was very helpful for a little 9 year old me while I was struggling mentally with depression and anxiety. this makes me so happy to watch 😁🌷

I was developed much sooner than most people will define ‘normal’ and got introduced to problems that many teens would naturally experience in phases where you grow aka puberty. So I experienced things as really bad social anxiety and depression, at the age of 8 and up :)

But most people will experience depressed times in their life, some more than others. but I was just really unlucky and got it right at the age Where I should be enjoying my childhood. but life isn’t always fair.

What? I would be overjoyed if i was offered a plate of vegetables! I would take it with some hummus sauce. Well i must admit that i am trying to lose weight but still, vegetables are delicious. Even if you don’t like them, they give immense flavor to food. I suggest trying a grilled chicken salad.
Or you could try some hearty soup. By putting a mixture of vegetables, chicken stock,a bit of citrus and some water, you can make a soup, the thicker you want it to be, the more vegetables you could add. Then you could heat it up in the microwave or oven and then you could add whatever you wanted in it.
Pls dont be offended i just wanna try finding ways to serve you a plate of vegetables but in a tastier way
