Thank you so much for viewing and helping support, seriously means more than a lot of people know. Glad I could help and glad you got a drone to enjoy! :)
They're only slightly different. They are all the same drone though. Same features and fly characteristics. The cameras are either the same or worse. In short that slight difference doesn't make the gim2 worth that price not even close. I have the dji mini 2 and it cost $449 and is leaps and bounds better than the gim2 f11 or the 4k pro f11. My objective is just to educate people so they can make a smart purchase.
I enjoyed your video. I bought the Ruko f11 pro during the the Black Friday sale for $ 239.00 I really enjoyed it. Now it does have the large lens camera that is really very good over all. But yes I jumped on that deal. The one thing about Ruko there service dept is very good. I Some what crashed mind doing what you said not to do landing in my back yard. The drone Was alright externally but was upside down smoking. It was still running except for one motor that’s prop was pinned to the ground. I contacted Ruko & gave them info. They sent Me a new drone even though it was my fault. That is very good service if you ask me?
I've just read the specs on the official website and it says it only uses 5g through your phone so your not gunna get any decent distance using your phone 5g I'm guessing? I've made a offer for £70 for a used one on eBay , but I got a Mavic mini with combo for £100 for myself now I'm looking for a drone for my son , should I wait out see if I get another mini for around £100
I wish I had watched your video before buying the Ruko F11 version 3 days ago. Although I think I got a great deal for it. Amazon had a lighting deal, $39 off regular price so I bought it. I’m a beginner so honestly having the best camera or even a gimbal is not a huge deal to me. Not right now at least. Right now it’s more of a flying thing and having fun. Also got the HolyStone HS720E. That one was pricier, $340, but love how it flies. I guess I’m just trying out different ones to see which one I like best and before upgrading later on to a DJI one like the Mini2.
Ahh I understand that for sure. The better camera or more like cameras with gimbals just make the flying experience more fun when you got that clean stable footage while exploring and flying around. But at 340, the first Dji mini is 299 and the mini 2 is 449 and 500 for the fly more kit, sometimes getting a more reliable capable drone is better so you got one good drone to keep practicing off of. But the budget drones will train you since they don't have the bells and whistles so that's the good part. Only reason I (not to you) suggest getting a better bang for buck drone is to save my friends and viewers money. Because you buy one drone for 150, and then buy one for 340, and then say one breaks or you want to upgrade again and buy another drone, you'll end up spending more in cheap drones when you can buy one good drone and continue to practice and grow. But at least you're starting with good budget ones and learning to fly on a more rigid platform, that's how I started.
@@DenonGregory Yea. I agree. Still debating which one of the two I’m going to keep. Or if I’ll just keep both. Couldn’t see myself paying $599 for DJI Mini2 as my first drone. Especially without the follow me, or waypoints, and other features these have at a lower price point. Can’t beat DJI, they tule the market. But I think I wanna get my “feet wet” a little more before spending that amount of $. Also, Amazon’s great return policy allows me to try them out and if not what I was expecting or issues, I can return. My very first was actually the HolyStone HS175D. Kept having GPS connection issues almost out of the box. So sent it back. Anyway, thx again for the replies and feedback. Great channel. Keep the great videos coming brotha 🤙
You got the right idea! I did the same with Amazon. Using their return policy is a great way to not waste your money. And yeah that's why I got my MIni 2 on Amazon. $420 for the drone with. I bundle and $498 for fly more with 3 batteries, carry case, extra propellers, and a multi charger and the prop guard. But yes you're welcome and it was nice talking with you, maybe we can chat again of another video or drone stands out to you. 👍
F11 4k S version is supposed to have longer range and is a bit more expensive. But still well under $300. If your phones are as crappy as mine you never get 300 metres. And to beginners!!! I have seen many people starting with a GPS drone who then think they know how to fly. But GPS drones are too easy. Learn orientation and how to fly without GPS or optical-flow just in case! For example the F11 can toilet-bowl! Having those skills could means you can turn off GPS and fly it back manually. Or people fly it into a tree because they never learned orientation. Spend $25 on a mini drone with propeller guards you can crash it against the walls in your house. Then take it outside to a field so you feel how the wind gets hold of your drone. REAL FLYING. So called 'experts' who tell you a $400 drone is perfect for beginners are all idiots who get their drones for free to review. While in fact they themselves started flying with toy drones and lost a bunch in the process. I hope you agree. GPS is great. But to be a good pilot you need to practice with a drone you fly manually. You get better shots too if you know how to fly.
Agreed! You're right. I started on non GPS Walmart drones that didn't have altitude hold or anything I had 3 lost one, crashed one and the last 2 I practiced flying indoors and outside. Indoors is good practice because you have to be even more accurate cause you have less space. When I went outdoors keeping it stable and controlling it was easy cause I was use to a smaller space.
@@DenonGregory Maybe make a video about it? My first drone was basically the JJRC H36. Took me half an hour before I could hoover it forward, back, left right without crashing into a wall. I still don't pretend to be a pro. People buy a DJI Mini but have no clue what the wind does or how to navigate out of a tight situation like trees. Then they blame DJI and ask for a new one. It is also the reason why DJI crippled the Mini by not adding follow-me or active-track. If you know what you're doing you don't necessarily need obstacle avoidance sensors. And if it has sensors people believe it will flawlessly detect wires and power lines. Those people are always the ones who started with a GPS drone. If they had started with a cheap drone and learn to fly manually, they would know what the risks are, and how amazing drones these days actually have become. Instead first time they push the throttle and fly the thing immediately out of sight a mile away with a 30mph tailwind.
You're right. To be honest, drones changed over the like 3-4 years. When I started flying, that's when I started. Back then GPS features were considered high end and all budget drones were basic and stripped down. Now with so many on the market I openly admit you're right, but I recommend these to beginners cause that's mostly what's on the market, and people spending their own money even if recommended, they want a drone with bells and whistles and won't want to buy a stripped down drone. Although I agree and will make a video on a good basic drone and recommend practicing. I don't mind a drone with no obstacle avoidance cause I always turned it off anyway certain shots I can't get when the drone detects a branch or something I know I can maneuver around and then it won't move. But you're right I'll make a video for sure and try to educate more. I think the times changed so I forgot about recommending the basics. Although if used responsibly if they grabbed a mini and actually practiced with it instead of flying it out like you said they could still improve. But I do think GPS drones came easy to me cause I started on raw drones with no obstacle avoidance, GPS, or altitude hold.
@@DenonGregory BTW. If you want to make your reviews more professional, then perhaps exchange drones and stuff with other reviewers? A collective. After a while companies will send them for free. Even better if all the reviews have the same 'script' and tunes. Like unbox, test, range, features, price. Then add fun stuff in between. It's nice to have most of the work ready in a script. Easy to edit. You could use a tripod and good mic. So more viewers makes it easier to get funds, donations, patreons. Of course it also means you have to be a little bit less negative from time to time when it ain't that good. Doesn't mean you have to lie. Just do + and - and people can decide if they want it or not. If it's really bad then say 'don't buy'.

I'm pretty certain your phone should be fine. The level Chinese drones like these typically work on all types of phones. :) and thank you I'm sincerely glad it helped even if it's just a few people.
i have that same drone, quick question, why the video footage from mine so noisey and grainy? i done every thing but still noisy and i just pay $311 on amazon
Aw man... I'm not sure.. I did notice it is grainy and oddly when you download the footage from your SD card it worse than the phone footage I honestly think it's do to it being a budget drone and not able to truly process the 4k. It's shooting ob 4k but definitely being scaled down once fully processed.
@@DenonGregory just after that, i made just a evening flight around 12 feet high just as i send up the thing there was no wind, where i see it get upset in the sky then flies away . never see it again..that same evening i just get the dji mini 2 at best buy. oh my god it cant better..
The problem is probably your WiFi router trying to keep the connection with your phone. Temporarily 'forget' your saved home network. (if you have saved login name and password to connect again).
