- Part 2 is out and now that everyone has played it in full, I feel it is appropriate to release my thoughts on this event. Just like part 1 it was done very well! The Ark's Fairytale of Goddess, and their glorified story of the Arks completion.

When Snow white said to Dorothy "We are goddess of victory" I was literally shaking and crying. What a moment 😢
I was not expecting to cry so much this event, Pinne didn't deserve this

Let's not forget what happened, and not forget Pinne, and tell her story to future commanders.
Fun fact: The JP voice for Dorothy is Chiwa Saito, the same who did the voice of Akemi Homura from Madoka Magica, character who also had to kill her best friend at some point in the story in the same situation (a kind of corruption) and had to shoot her to put her out of her misery, as a last request of her friend. The irony of such tragedy for both characters voiced by the same person.
Basically fate never let her go.
Is up to us to save her.

After Part One and finishing the first 5 sections of part 2 "this was before Dorothy was confronted about her hallucination
" I saw Pinne walking around the map. I thought huh maybe they forgot to remove her, until I thought back on all the things snow white said and inferred maybe Dorothy is still so bright because she still thinks Pinne is alive. Lo and Behold, tomorrow comes and after finishing the next 5 missions I find out I was right. Damn Dorothy
Waiting for the commander to get pissed of to the Ark and go Eren Yeager Mode
They made Marian die early to prepare us for these kind of events
Once NIKKE is finished can u do a full story explained
I dunno. I saw a pretty good video on Azur Lanes story so far. It's over three hours.
If Nikke lasts more than a few years I can see this story getting MASSIVE.

She is a minor soldier sent to her demise.
Despite her strength in battle she was none that a tool for survival just like the old goddess of victory were.
How nice could it be tho ,after the final war against the queen ,everyone that was corrupted were sent free and able to be brought back to life again.

Even ive been playing since global launch and gone thru the campaign and events, i still appreciate ur storytelling video. This event the best so far, sets the new standard for the game, hope the game dev can keep coming with compelling future contents.
This story broke me a little
I can see Dorothy becoming a heretic had snow and the others not been with her
This event kinda made me cry a bit. And made me feel terrible for Dorothy. I wanna give her a hug and tell her how great she is. However I’m a bit too scared of her to do that .3. I mean during one of her bond stories she does kinda threaten to shoot us for just trying to get a little closer to her and for us being kind to her. So for that reason, she scares me a little

@@Tommydiistar our character never betrayed her tho. Oswald betrayed her. We’ve been nothing but nice to her. So it just. Makes no sense to me. Unless she’s convinced we’ll stab her in the back later

I dont get it. We constantly go out to the surface in the game. They even have 2 ships that go in and out, a holocarrier and a train.
I think the central government just lied to them that couldnt return. Because it sure as hell doesnt look sealed.

Yet they're nowhere near the strength of the Goddess Squad and other Pilgrims. Not Absolute or Matis is anywhere close
One prime example is Snow White, she's literally a one-man army. I really love her for her ideal and heroism.
It's being shown multiple times that each generation has been getting weaker. Is it on purpose or it could be some degeneration of production quality.
Yup, the fact that the Ark AI couldn't even do anything to Chatterbox and had to make a deal with it in order to prevent it's invasion. Snow White easily took it out and brought it fear.
@@leepaoyang710and don't forget Noah in some animations his shields can stop powerful attacks and stay intact like nothing.
and in a trailer animation Noah was able to block a direct chatterbox hit and his shields didn't show up without any damage.

The story around Dorothy and all Pilgrims, The goddess are really hard and sad. Very good work from the devs so far.
But what i don't understand is, how are we atm going to the surface? There is a giant elevator right?
I guess they build that years later after they left the goddess alone, but why not trying to get them in when the new elevator was finished? Why was it even necessary to destroy the elevator if you just build new ones anyway?? I guess at this point, to much time has passed and they cant trust them and Dorothy just wants revenge and get HER ARCH back, whatever that means.
But why couldn't they just say: we are sorry but atm its not possible for you all to come to the Arch, we need time to settle down in the Arch, then we build a more secure elevator to the Arch and then u all can finally come to us. Sure they would have felt also some kind of betrayal but not that hard i would guess... I mean it also is in the interest of the Arch to have the best Nikkes to protect the arch. All Pilgrims are extremely powerful, why abandoning them and make probably out of Dorothy even an enemy...

My mind and emotions are getting🥺😭😢💔💔, since I've seen Marian's death on the game, I past more than a week to try to forget her sacrifice and move on...
but now, watching the summarize of the event story, lore, characters in detail, my mind is completed broken by depression and my feeling are only reflections, sadness, depression and heartbroken, now I have to past more than a month of thinking about it and try to forget this depressive story event, why the stories about are depressive like the Cyberpunk franchise😭😭😭😭😭🥺💔💔
Its gonna take a bloody miracle to retake the surface. The ARK has too many bloody problems, and the pilgrims, despite being really powerful, just dont have the numbers to make an impact
It ironic really the Goddesses able to save and protect everyone but wasn't able to save each other

12:28 just curious, is that temporary outpost, now the outpost that the player commander now turned into nikke city in our playthrough?
I thought about that but I think it’s not the same, since the outpost is close to the ark and that’s why they had to move out. And the Nikke city seems to be very hidden and far away. Also in chapter 14 the map looks a lot like the future version of the map of overzone, even have G-01 written above the gates, so I think that was the outpost.
@@DrillengineerWell. I guess not so hidden away since it's actually kinda close to bordering the surface since that post is "constantly in the way of the raptures."
Which really makes me think "wow. So much for being safe underground, huh." And now with the suffix "fucking morons" at the end. :D

not a huge issue, but consider using more than one song rather than the same one a bunch of times, its not that annoying in one video, but the same one in all the videos gets old :)

I still find absurd leaving them behind due to being "obsolete" they could just upgrade them and train the newer nikke gen but nope
What's even more absurd is that these "Prototype" *(Goddess squad)* Nikkes are actually a lot more powerful than even the current gen. Nikkes as of the current events of the game.

@@SniperFallen06 2 Things that I can think of about this absurd kind of declining technological progression is that:
1. Running out of High-quality natural raw materials needed for making the standard parts in manufacturing their weapons *(Similar to Germany during WW2, during the late stages of the war, Germany is having a difficult time making a steel strong enough to be used for their Tanks)*
2. Political sabotaging behind the scenes. We all know that there ARE lots of corrupted people in-power sitting above and the plagues of Corruption running rampant in the Ark. I wouldn't surprise that habit of sabotaging many of their Engineers, destroying weapon blueprints, or deleting experimental tech data progressions for the sake of maintaining political clout and power is what held Humanity back into making ACTUAL improvements over their Nikkes.
Other than that it's nothing more than an annoying trait of _"Long forgotten Ancient/Lost protoype stuffs being more powerful than our current tech"_ trope in Sci-Fi medias.
