Thematicaly, this is the last chapter that really hit hard for me. In a way of "If Raptures were, to concentrate their forces and come for the Ark... They could, and they would probably win. They won't though, because there's a chance that infighing will do us in before they do, so why waste energy"

I don't actually *play* this game per say, but I do follow its storyquite closely. I VIVIDLY remember that conversation with Enikk. More than Chapter 0, more than Red Hood Rapi, more than anything Chatterbox or 'Modernia' did, this conversation shocked me to the core and really made me start paying attention to this game. That moment is a masterclass in subversion, payoff and existental dread. Completely underrated imo.
I guess, the conversation when Enikk said that she made a deal with Chatterbox, to give NIKKE to Raptures, so Raptures don't attack Ark... I guess that one, right?
Had to double check you got like 12 chapters to catch up to on the main story hope you do those too :)

Also, why didn’t the player commander tell anyone about the fact that the ark AI was giving the raptures Nikkes?
Because nobody would believe him? The Ark seems to default to getting rid of anyone who rocks the boat.
@@CruelestChris even if he showed evidence of syuen blackmailing him on his phone? It’s also a conversation through text messaging with her main account, so it would be easy to trace it back to her being a culprit.

I mean come on, faking text messages on a phone isn't exactly hard for a guy with an entire military base at his disposal. More to the point, Syuen at that point is essentially untouchable because she's too important to get rid of. It's made pretty clear that the senior figures on the Ark can essentially do whatever they like.
@@CruelestChris are you seriously going to tell me with a straight face that the commander can’t show up to Andersen’s or Ingrid’s office in person, and then show them the text messages by interacting with the screen by scrolling up and down through Syuen’s text messages?
Though I do understand your point about Syuen and other corrupt government officials not wanting to be bothered for one reason or another.

The problem is, that makes it your word against hers. She has a log, you have a log. She's the Head of a major Nikke manufacturer, you're a guy who's primary job is dying in an inspiring way.
The ending got me good. Like damnit Enikk, you're lucky you're just an AI. Cant punish her. This is a really good chapter.
