a great trick, one other tip, if the bolt is continuously coming off, get a machinist to make a groove on the collar, you can then fit it, and secure with a washer and an e-clip. also you could drill a hole through both bolt and wheel housing and install a roll pin, either one will secure it for shure.
I have the same Kupo wheels and also have orange tape on them because people are always tripping over them. I have wingnuts on mine for quick mounting.
Are you sure that bold should be fixed? If this is a ""regular" screw with an Allen-Key option... Maybe it is supposed to work that way. You do not have to turn the hole wheel, but only the screw. It is, in my eyes, a legit opption.
The key cannot rotate in the space around the wheel because of the walls holding the wheels in place. You can only rotate about 1/16 of a twist before hitting the walls. So the whole lot has to rotate in order to twist the bolt into the nut. Out of my 6 wheels one still has the bolt attached. Unfortunately the stands dont fit in my van with the wheels attached, that would have been the simple solution to just leave them on.

Or a simple spot weld.

That is an excellent idea
Awesome video, extremely helpful...now all I need to do is buy some stands.

Are both sets of wheels rated for the same weight load?
Awesome bro - love to see more stuff about grip, at least concerning lights ... Love your channel
Very nice work sir 🎉
That’s a wheely good tip!
I see what you did there
I have those same Kupo wheels. Where did you get that orange sleeve for the top of those? And what is the proper name for them. Thanks.
1" camera tape.
