Your videos are fantastic & I've learned so much from you. 35 years as a camera operator and I only started lighting a couple years ago. Your videos have been invaluable. So much great info. Thanks.

I ALWAYS seem to have trouble with the LiteMAT internal receivers. I don’t own any so they come from rental houses and other owner / ops. Not sure if it’s an upkeep thing or what. But, usually if I plug my own receiver in I have flawless wireless control. Maybe the new ballasts will be better.

I had that issue on ALL of my spectrums.
Litemat told me to open them up and push down on the connection.
When I opened them up they all looked connected, but I pushed down and sure enough the problems disappeared and they have been 100% reliable ever since.
I guess on the assembly line they weren't pushed all the way down!

One thing I'll add -- If I have a constantly flashing light, my initial assumption is that the unit is linked with a transmitter other than the one I'm using. In order to create a link with your transmitter, you will first need to unlink that unit from the previous transmitter, which makes it available for a new connection when you send out a link command. This is done a few different ways.
On many units, like a titan tube, go into the menu and select the option to "unlink CRMX", "reset CRMX" or the likes, and when you do you should see the CRMX status light turn off.
On the Litemat Spectrums (2019 model), and possibly other units where there is not a menu option for unlinking the CRMX, you hold down the flashing link/status button for a few seconds until the CRMX status light light stops flashing and turns off.
Then you can hit the link command button on your transmitter, and this should connect the available unit/s with your transmitter. If not, then I would follow with Andrew's other tips here on troubleshooting why you can't create a link. Hope this is helpful information for some!
