I used to get Weiss beer in Hoboken, NJ. It was lighter, and they coated the inside of the glass with raspberry syrup before pouring the beer. It was delicious.

The system seems very much like the system High Gravity has been selling for several years. I have pieced my own electric system together with parts from many sellers, next is a brew basket. Thanks again

Awesome brew man! You may already be doing this but I have two recommendations when using an electric heating element.
    1. Cover the outside connection with electrical tape and a beer koozie to prevent any liquid from splashing and ruining your element.
    2. Cleaning - let the element sit in acid over night and make sure all protein residue is removed when you rinse it off to prevent scorching during your next brew. The acid bath will make cleaning go much faster!
    Cheers from Bandera Ale Project!

Martin, you should use decoction mash for those brews with high wheat content (beacouse of the low free amino acid content), and also to show to homberwers how that would work for small scale brews.

You can still get a stuck mash, even if it drains. You want the liquid to run *through* the grains, not around them. If it's too gummy you'll lose efficiency.

Careful if you use coco nibs with a plate chiller, they have little seeds that can clog the plate chiller. If you're going to use them or other spices put them in a bag, that way you can just remove the bag with the spices and etc so they don't clog your plate chiller. I did notice that the kettle did have a filter that should keep them out but just be aware if you use a plate chiller that it can happen.

Funny! I was listening this podcast the other day in which Kyle from Clawhammer was a guest. Awesome guy, interesting story!
But he mentioned that he was "giving away" his system to anyone who makes great brewing content on UA-cam and honestly, you were the first the came to mind for me. I wondered when Martin would suddenly switch to a Clawhammer Supply system and apparently today is the day! Haha

That system have a pump! Use that to transfer the wort to the fermentation bucket, you did sterilize pump and chiller etc befor chilling = pump it to the bucket, no need of a syphon...
