This was an incredibly frustrating mini-game to try and get top marks on but i really wanted Starshower weapon ability for Tifa. So i ploughed on even though i don’t excel at these things. Thx for the guide, it did help.

Thank you for showing me I could use Braver and Focus Trust here. I thought it was one of those minigames that only allowed you to use the regular hack and slash, so I kept losing time on those giant boxes.

Awesome video. Don't think I needed it, but I ended up using a first strike lv2 materia with a linked level boost, just to have one full bar of ATB start. In case anyone needs a little more time.

I follow this guide step by step but somehow am always 20 seconds behind

You can do it!
Probably slightly less stressfull to clear the small area to the right of the start first, since it saves you having to use a couple of long and annoying elevators at the very end when you're almost running out of time... But otherwise the route is pretty great.
Tried it that way, didn’t have the time. Easier to jump down later.

What sword are you using in the video, and can you please tell me how i can get the focused thrust to activate, with umbral sword.
Sword is the umbral sword, focus thrust is the buster sword weapon ability. You need to master the weapon proficiency so you can use it on any weapon.
Thanks for your answer, but could please explain, proficiency to me, mastering the weapon and all that. because i'm new to this
@@crazyeagle4968 go into weapon select and read the right hand side, you need to complete a certain objective to proficient the weapon, meaning you can use the weapons ability on any other weapon.
Which weapon you used?? And what materia and accessories set ups?
Maybe he used that purple weapon in the video. MAYBE 🤷🏻
Great job man, I did it with a score of 42500, figuring out the route would have taken me a while, wasn't a fan of this in Remake

Key was to learn the route! Once you know the route it was extremely simple but before that was extremely INFURIATING

It would have been better to talk about which skills you used or at least put up the message saying which skill you used as it was so fast when you use them that I couldn't tell which ones you used.
You’re absolutely right, apologies. It’s normal square attacks and Braver, use Focus Thrust as well, it says on screen in the middle of using the ability.
45000 is perfect, and the timer stops on completion saying perfect.
