I use the dollar store construction paper for learning how to make cards etc and they also sell small pads of thick decorative paper for card inserts and they sell a paper cutter too! I bought the bic gel markers for the joy and they work great. I use my seam ripper as a weeding tool as it will cut any pieces that are still attached easily
Yes, always seeing those hacks and stuff but can never find it that cheap in my country. No Walmart, no dollar tree or 99c, no michaels I can’t even find Htv or cricut products on any shop.
My favorite hack in this video is the pens options. I didn’t know we could use anything other than the Cricut supplies. This is a game changer for me! 💕👍🏼
Loved the hint about the baby power to make lines more visible. I figured out with light colors you can use cinnamon, cocoa powder, or a darker loose face powder. Keep up the great videos!
I’m just learning the Cricut. I bought one, got intimidated very quickly and returned it the next day. I’m in research mode now. The dollar store is great. I loved the pens ideas, and saving the mat with a shower curtain liner. You produce excellent, quick to the point videos. I have subscribed to learn more about Cricut.
If you end up needing more Cricut help I have a Cricut course that covers everything you need to know! It's on sale for the next three days. :) sweetredpoppy.teachable.com/p/cricutmadeeasy
that is not a hack, the dish dryer is designed to hold things. just because they label it as dish dryer, doesnt mean that if you use it for some other purpose, its called a hack. a hack is where you open something and make a change to it so you use it for a different purpose.
You blew my mind with the baby powder hack.. I am new to Cricut and am having eye issues - it is almost impossible to see the cuts sometimes. Thank you!!
Hanging the mats on the wall and the dish holders for the vinyl are genius! So glad I clicked on this video! This will help me organise my craft room a lot
you do realize a Hack is when you open an item and physically change the thing to do something it was not designed to do? lint roller was designed to pick things up...just because they sell it as a "lint roller" doesnt mean it just for lint. you can wrap a piece of tape around your hand with sticky side out and do same thing, but its not a hack, its just a tip on how to do something cheaper. people love to over use words the wrong way.
Hey👋 Shadow? silver? light?😮😜🧐 This is a CREATIVE space; 🙃 not a forum to learn “correct word usage” in the English language. My guess is you’re using lots of words to TRY to undermine Kim’s helpful & CREATIVE hacks. 😢Suggesting you start your own channel to teach everyone the definition of the word “hack”. Do better, be better. 🎉 🎉🎉
I'm new to the cricut world, but I do quilt. I've been using the lint roll hack forever. It's a great idea!! I use it to get threads off the fabric if they are still stray after I cut them. I always lint roll my design wall before I put blocks up, and I lint roll myself when my family says my sewing time is up and I HAVE to spend time with them, like sure, I guess so. lol
My favorite hack is using a shower liner to protect your mat. I use a wheelchair and today I ran over the protective covering with my chair. 🤦♀️ Btw, I love your pattern on your website for face masks 😷 I use it for all the masks that I make. Thanks!!!
I don’t know about Dollar Tree specifically but I use dollar store metal dental scrapers as weeding tools. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to use them for their teeth but regardless I mainly use a pin and the pick and I’m set.
The baby powder!!!! As I'm getting older the eyes are growing dimmer..... I've thrown out projects, especially when I've used dark vinyl because I simply can't see the lines. WELL now I won't have to 😁 thankyou.
I love the baby powder hack! I'm glad you also went over the tinfoil and the Awesome spray! I've seen many people recommending those products, glad I know to skip those!
Thank you so much for all this valuable information. You explain everything so eloquently and you are so beautiful. I love your dress and I can't wait to use some of your hacks. 😊💗🦋🌻
I use baby wipes for everything but I wouldn't use them on my mat. Most all wipes have ingredients that I wouldn't want left on the mat as I feel it could interfere with the tackiness. Instead, I use a damp j-cloth (which is essentially the same material, texture, thickness, and strength of a baby wipe), as it is totally lint free, like a baby wipe. This has been working really well!
Great tips! I particularly liked the part at the end where you warn about hacks that DON'T work! That really shows you know your stuff too! Keep up the great sharing.
The markers! That was a big con for me when I was looking at what I needed to invest in, I'm super happy to know for quick projects I can use other markers.
You show me how to save money I didn't realize Dollar tree sells cricket things but I was in my mind with the other stores but now I see now so thank you for showing me everything so I can be saving money just as well so I live all the ideas what you did and so keep up the good work God bless
All of them! Especially the use when cutting fabric! Genius! You’re final note of hacks that are not going to be of any use or work. You are such a delight to listen and watch. Keep the great ideas coming with savings.
These are awesome hacks. Several I’ve never heard before. And so glad you warned me about the last two things. I always wondered why my scissors never seemed to sharpen after cutting tin foil. Lol
Same! Actually this Christmas will make 4yrs that I've had my Explore Air 2 & I'm still using the original blade. I bet what she's saying, but I'm gonna keep jabbing away! 😁
That baby powder hack was GOLD !!!
So nice,,, Whoever is reading this comment I wish u peace, have a nice day.❤️❤️

I hope all you that have dollar stores know how lucky you are... so jealous of all the hacks and stuff you can get from there!

I liked the hack for the dressing bottle to hold the weeding excess. thanks. been looking for something simple and cheap for a long time.
I love the baby powder hack to see cuts. I can't wait to try that one. Thanks.
Will it still stick the same?
i
agree. that was great.
I seriously wish I knew this before I strainers my eyes for 8 hours today! Lol! Well now I know for tomorrow! 💗
🤣🤣 thats not a hack.
Yeah this seriously amazed me 🤣🤣
I always forget about the baby powder hack.
A organized pantry and spice jars speaks to my soul! Beautiful!
I'm new to Cricut so all of these hacks are very helpful!! Thanks 😊
Loved the hint about the baby power to make lines more visible. I figured out with light colors you can use cinnamon, cocoa powder, or a darker loose face powder. Keep up the great videos!
The acrylic holder blew me away! I also LOVED the dish drainer hack! So awesome

I like the vinyl storage rack idea the best, but all of them are awesome!
My favorite hack was the dish drying rack. I have been wanting something that would help keep me organized. Thank you so much for this video.
I use those dish drying racks to store my small paintings, too.
I use pvc pipe cut to 6” pieces glued them together in a tower and spray painted
I’m new to all of this so glad you took the time to show us
You can also use these racks to stand up your trimmer & punch boards.
that is not a hack, the dish dryer is designed to hold things. just because they label it as dish dryer, doesnt mean that if you use it for some other purpose, its called a hack. a hack is where you open something and make a change to it so you use it for a different purpose.

The baby powder hack and the double sided blade hack are the best! Thanks
Dollar Tree and Cricut, my loves, merging together YESSSS

Thank you ! Making a list now for the Dollar store run!
I like the hack for the vinyl rolls, the dish rack. I have to go now to get some
My favorite was dish drying rack. Loved them all!
Baby powder and contact paper under fabric are my faves! ❤️
The contact paper on fabric mat hack is a great idea as well as the lint roller for cardstock projects
Do you put the non sticky side on the mat, peel off the backing, and add material? It's that how is done?
you do realize a Hack is when you open an item and physically change the thing to do something it was not designed to do? lint roller was designed to pick things up...just because they sell it as a "lint roller" doesnt mean it just for lint. you can wrap a piece of tape around your hand with sticky side out and do same thing, but its not a hack, its just a tip on how to do something cheaper.

The baby powder is GENIUS!
The baby powder was the best. Keep all hacks coming. Thanks

The contact paper on the fabric mat is genius. I'm definitely trying that one. Some of the others I've already tried before.
I love the baby powder idea, as my eyes are old now. Also love the idea to hang the mats on hooks
My favorite hack is using a shower liner to protect your mat. I use a wheelchair and today I ran over the protective covering with my chair. 🤦♀️ Btw, I love your pattern on your website for face masks 😷 I use it for all the masks that I make. Thanks!!!
That baby powder hack is genius!
Slicing a pencil grip to adjust pens to fit the Cricut cutter was my favorite tip. Thanks!

The clear contact paper for cutting fabric was my favorite
The hack that was my favorite was being able to use cheaper markers. Love your information
I don’t know about Dollar Tree specifically but I use dollar store metal dental scrapers as weeding tools. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to use them for their teeth but regardless I mainly use a pin and the pick and I’m set.
Me too, best welder ever for $1!
Favorite hacks shown: Baby powder and dish drying racks. Thank you! 😊
loved all the hacks!
The baby powder!!!! As I'm getting older the eyes are growing dimmer..... I've thrown out projects, especially when I've used dark vinyl because I simply can't see the lines. WELL now I won't have to 😁 thankyou.
Love the baby powder idea. My vision is horrible, and this is awesome.
This is seriously the only useful cricut hack video I've ever run into! Every single tip was actually helpful! Thanks!
My favorite hack was the use of the baby powder to see before weeding. Thanks

Baby powder hack is awesome!

I’ve used foil on my blade and I haven’t changed it in a year, I think it works!
Same! Actually this Christmas will make 4yrs that I've had my Explore Air 2 & I'm still using the original blade. I bet what she's saying, but I'm gonna keep jabbing away! 😁
It has worked for me!
Works for me. But I ball my foil and jab with blade
