INGREDIENTS
-3pcs medium size potatoes chopped
-1/2tsp salt and ground black pepper
-2pcs chopped onions
-1head chopped garlic
-1.2Kilo pork liempo (pork belly)
-1/2tsp salt and ground black pepper
-3Tbsp soy sauce
-4Tbsp oyster sauce
-water enough to submerge the meat
-1tsp whole peppercorn
-2pcs dried bay leaves
-4Tbsp vinegar

The potatoes really absorb the flavor, especially the vinegar. It's a great addition. A guy in my fire station used to cook this (with potatoes). It was a winner.

this looks absolutely amazing but i have a question would adding a corn starch slurry or maybe flour be out of the question to thicken up the leftover sauce? I bet that would be amazing over some white rice!
One could use slurry for this if.. One double the measurement for the sauce.. Or multiply by 1.5 so it has more sauce for the slurry to thicken up.. 😊😉 You can do this.. Hope you enjoy.. Thanks a lot.. 😊😉

Minsan mabilis lang lumambot kaya konting tubig kailangan, minsan nman matagal so kailangan mas marami tubig.. Pag ganyan po ang niluluto ko, kadalasan lubog po sa tubig ung meat.. Tapos slow cooking sa low flame setting.. Kadalasan po, bago maubos ung tubig, malambot n sya.. Pero kung hindi pa, nagdadagdag n lng po ako paunti unti ng tubig tapos tuloy sa slow cooking hanggang lumambot na po sya according to my preference po.. 😉😊
