Yep, thats the ticket. Although I am much slower( read older). Good job, especially showing how once you position the kite how impt it is to get the hell to the end of the lines so the kite does not take off down the beach and self launch. Sand helps with this I find. Safe and great in TCI with no one around.
You make perfect video's how to learn kitesurfing. I'am a beginner and also follow the kite lessons but the video's learn my more.. Keep on going making this kite video's.. Super +++ Greets from The Netherlands.
You can check on the WWW.EPICKITES.COM web page tons of videos on "How to". This video is about how one of the ways how to Self Land. www.epickiteskiteboarding.com/videos/how-to/how-land-kite-yourself-using-middle-lines/
I like your kitesurfing videos. In this video, it's a pity you didn't show the critical element of self launching the kite, by demonstrating what to do with the lines at the bar when launching the kite. Keep up the good work
Thank you Olibhear. Check few other "HOW TO" kite videos that I made on "HOW TO LAUNCH YOUR KITE" and you will see how to self launch the kite using the lines.
Launching and landing should be done in the water. But it all depends on the conditions, the wind direction and how safe it is. In this case it was blowing 10 to 14 mph and the beach was very very wide. So you could choose. But thank you for your advise.
I'm not as good as you Sir, but I have seen few bad accidents cause by launching toward the beach, bushes an buildings instead of the water that ended up with a kite on the trees and people dragged on the beach. I, just like you launch toward the beach sometimes but for the new kiters that learn this technique, I think they should be taught and reminded that the safest way is always launching to the water. Just in case something happens, they will end up on the water and not on the trees. I always teach my students that way for their own safety. BTW, I love your instructional videos and you are an inspiration to lots of kiteboarders.
Hahahahahaha....that is a very good one Mr. Maciej. I've been kiting since the beginning and I've see more accidents then any one else. Plus during all these years kiting, I broke my back twice, broke all of ribs, paralyzed my shoulder for 8 months, broke both of my heels and so on.... Plus I have had few friends died from kiting and few others get injured very seriously. So as you can see I do have a lot of experience and this is the reason why I make these HOW TO videos. So again it's all up to the kiter to choose which direction he wants to launch his kite especially if the beach is very wide. But once again thank you for your advice.
Your Videos are great !
One of the cleanest board exits iv ever seen!!
Sweet, exactly like how I was taught. Now onto self-landing
The guy is pretty much a legend :)

Thank you Olibhear but I am trying to keep videos under 3 minutes because after 3 minutes most people loose interest.
I think launching and landing should be done towards the water not towards the beach. I've seen guys pulled by a gust on the road or the trees.
