Hey I didn’t put down 007 it’s end of April I over seeded like 2weeks ago I just sprayed for crab grass today I have some milo and I gone snow this week what should I do did I start to early please help find a solution
You can’t use Pre Emergent if you seeded for 8-12 weeks. You all ways take a risk because it’s hard to beat Mother Nature some times. I’d suggest seeding . If this is Bermuda seed best time to seed is late Spring early Summer.
I live in Ohio so do you think I should put nothing down right now it’s gone snow in 2days but I know this is that last one it got be also it might snow at all that’s Ohio weather can you please just tell me the steps to take please please lol trying to get my yard right thanks for responding

Man, you need an irrigation system for that size lawn. That's a killer running around with those sprinklers. I did it for awhile, but could not take anymore and put in an irrigation system. I know you can do it yourself. You are a handy man.
I have an issue with spurge... I swear it sprouted up overnight. The weed killer method you used in a couple videos back is working great. I'm just wondering if all the weeds need to be killed before I put down the 0-0-7. Thanks!
K R great question, but the answer is no. A lot of those weeds are annual which means they die come frost anyway. The key to not seeing them in the future is to put product down by those target dates, Sep 15 and Feb 15. Add this to your lawn care program yearly and over a period of time those weeds won't even show up and if they do all you'll need to do is spot treat them. But if you have weeds now make sure to bag from here on out, I know it is not as fun as mulching but in due time you won't have to bag.
Bermuda Grass Central ok sounds good! I have a company that mows and I will ask if they can bag it up instead. I live in North Texas and I think the climate is a bit different where you live but everything you've recommend has worked great! Actually I'm quite shocked at how much its improved! It was really bad before. Looking forward to your next video!
+Glyn Robinson well none of those are winter weeds. If you have prodiamine go ahead and use it. But apply now or before September 15. Use again feb 15, but follow application chart.
Zoomer Cage ok two things. I would recommend feb 15 if possible to get a jump on that crabgrass because if they’ve started to hatch before application it wont be as effective 😀, also they should be putting it out again if they ran out in January, but there’s more to come about this. I’m making a real key video just for my Yard Fanatics in Late January-first week of February about ( well I can’t say now, don’t wanna jump the gun but you don’t want to miss this one 😁 ) tell all your buddies to subscribe and click notification 👍🏾
Can I apply pre-emergent down to prevent winter weeds and then spray weed-b-gon to kill the existing weeds like a day or two later? if not how long should I wait? Thanks man, love your vids!
Great video! I live in middle Tennessee and it is now March. I need to put a pre-emergent down, but I also want to do a fertilizer. I bought some starter fertilizer 18-24-12 by Lesco and haven't put it down yet, but from watching your video it seems the 19-0-7 might be better. Can you advise? I am working to get a soil test, but really want to get this stuff down as it is already mid March.
Chase Barnabi take the starter back to store. Start fert is when you are reseeding or overseeding. The 19-0-7 would do fine because of pre Emergent. 24-0-11 would be best if no pre Emergent.
@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral Thank you so much for the feedback! I feel lost in this stuff. My lawn this last year took a deep dive when I had TruGreen doing my upkeep fertilizer and pre-emergent wise. I have some large bare spots that have still not grown in fully even with an overseed this last fall. Was thinking the starter would help, but I will do what you are advising. I have some weeds already creeping in. Will the 19-0-7 from Home Depot be fine, or do I need to go to SiteOne supply? I have right under a half acre (0.46) so figured I will need two bags. Will I have to reapply this later in the summer? Is there any hope for me to seed a little to help the bare spots? Thank you again!
@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral how do I know it is time to put down the 19-0-7 vs 0-0-7? I would like to protect against weeds as we go into spring but also fertilize real well, but not too early right? Making sure my timing is right. Not sure of the 0-0-7 will give me the same protection as the 19-0-7
Chase Barnabi same protection minus the Nitrogen in the 19-0-7 but if I’m not mistaken the 19-0-7 is a dimension which is good for killing baby Crabgrass. I’d apply the 007 ASAP, you’ll still have some weeds though because you missed you February window.

Heather Johnson if you've had real bad weeds issues then yes in about 6 weeks after first application, but if your Weed situation isn't bad then no. Now if it's just raining a lot then I'd consider a reapplication.
Sir, I seem to have made a mistake and put down 007 on my 8,000 SF Bermuda Lawn in early March. I then put down some weed killer which left bare spots in my yard. I was going to put down some grass seed in Early May on those bare spots but think I would be wasting my time since I put down the 007. How long do I need to wait until I try and seed or should I just wait until next spring.
Jeff Thomas normally the wait is 8-10 weeks with a .86 007. They have Bermuda seed patch, but the type grass may not be the same as yours. If you did regular weed kill and not glyphosate the spots may fill in with water, fert and some top soil kind of tilled in. If it was a glyphosate mix then it may be awhile before those spots fill in.

Ok so its ok to apply pre emergent and milorganite at the same time bc i was going to apply pre this week and milorganite next week this my first time any advice will be greatly appreciated
Reggie B no, one reason is it's takes a while for it to go away ( if you do it get annual not perennial ) and when you Bermuda comes out of dormancy it's competing with rye grass for nutrients, does more Turf damage to Bermuda. Looks good though 😀
I just bought the Lesco 007 and planned kn putting it down this week but just saw that I need to do the 19 -0 -7, is that right? I thought in another video you said you used the 007 4x a year...
Hector Spencer if you have a Bermuda lawn that’s still dormant, put Dow the 007 ASAP!, if you have Fescue cool season then go with the 19-0-7. Make sure you water it in if it’s not raining. With the weather up and down you may not get a full protection but its better than nothing 😄

Ken Gray are you sure it’s crab grass and not dallisgass? If it is then rest with a crabgrass killer, but you should not have crabgrass this late in season.
I will check to be sure... It could actually be dallisgrass. What do you suggest for the dallisgrass? Last year was my first year treating my lawn myself. It's 3,000+ sq ft or so. Thanks, great channel!
Ken Gray unfortaully there’s nothing on the market that the average joe can buy without a license for dallisgrass , glyphosate will kill it and every thing else also. That grass doesn’t die in fall it just goes dormant. The produamine will prevent the seeds from hatching though. Best thing you can do for that grass is to spot treat in fall and the Bermuda grass will come back during spring. Spot treat not spray entire spot with a taste of glyphosate at rootball. Don’t over spray, don’t treat when rain is forecasted. Good luck and be careful with that glyphosate 👍🏽
G V if you can’t find Lesco at Home depot in store, it may be possible for you to order it online and have them ship it to the store for free, let me know if that works.
Bermuda Grass Central for some reason I can’t even buy it online at the Home Depot website!!! It can’t even be shipped to my store at all !!!. I found it at eBay but shipping cost it’s crazy
G V ok, then your choices are to buy Scott’s halts or even that new Scott’s 3 way, which is a pre m, weed killer and fertilizer. Vigoro has one also or you can order prodiamine WDG 65 online.
Robert Young Bermuda Grass seeds won’t germinate in the Fall, the window for that is May-July. If you plan on doing that this season then don’t put do any fert that has a pre m 8 to 10 weeks before seeding.
Thanks for the reply. I have a big crab grass problem...I was told that this product will catch those seeds from germinating as well. Is that true. I was also advised to put it down in February to prevent crab grass from growing in the Spring-summer...then I plan to plant grass seed in the Fall (Aug-Sept).
Good video man. I have a new home, it was sodded in early December with Bermuda. Should I be putting the 1907 pre emergent down now? When should I put the Miorganite down? Thanks
Jason Chalanick no 007 now , and I mean asap!, you can apply 19-0-7 dimension then in mid April. If you go with the Milo as your main fert then I’d suggest going to their website and they have a program for the warm season grasses. Even though your putting down the pre m some still may get through so you may have to spot treat also for now and later.
Dietrick McKinney yes it will but that will be your Feb app and if you have had a real bad problem of Nutsedge you'll need to hit again in late April early May with the 19-0-07. If they still break trough then it's a product called sledgehammer you and purchase on Amazon that you'll have to spray it. But don't make the mistake and pull it out by hand because it will multiply underground unless you can pull the whole root system out that contains the nut and that pretty much impossible. Keep in mind it can take years of treating this Nutsedge to get it under control. Stay on a program and eventually you'll win.
Bermuda Grass Central I was just wondering because you always here people core aerating or de thatching in the fall. I have some thatch but definitely nothing crazy.
I have some prodiamine 65 wdg to mix in spray can. I am better with liquids than I am with granular. Still need to water it in afterwards though?? Plan on putting it down this weekend hopefully
Love the videos. Question. The closet Home Depot only carries : www.homedepot.com/p/Scotts-Halts-11-lb-Crabgrass-and-Grassy-Weed-Preventer-49900APM/204867898. Will this work or should I drive 60 miles to a home deport that carries the lesco you discussed? Also can I throw out some ironinte? I went light on my milo a few weeks ago cause they were all sold out where I live. I appreciate your input!
Don't drive, have that Home Depot order it for you and ship it to your store. As for the ironite, I wouldn't do it now, it won't hurt But the purpose is to green it up and your grass should be heading to dormancy soon. It would be a waste of money now. The store should be able to get some more Milorganite also. Call store and ask for Manager. They'll be able to assist you.
Dang I was going to drop a lb of nitrogen from Milo this weekend. Since I have a party on the September 16th . I hope I get that wonderful aroma to subside.

I was also advised to put it down in February to prevent crab grass from growing in the Spring-summer...then I plan to plant grass seed in the Fall (Aug-Sept).
Robert Young right about the 19-0-7 dimension but you cat plants Bermuda Seeds in Fall
Bermuda Grass Central great. Planting tall fescue.
Robert Young ok then you should be good then
Great video and nice yard!
lambert1702 thanks, make sure you subscribe and click notification 👍🏾
Good video man. I have a new home, it was sodded in early December with Bermuda. Should I be putting the 1907 pre emergent down now? When should I put the Miorganite down? Thanks
Jason Chalanick no 007 now , and I mean asap!, you can apply 19-0-7 dimension then in mid April. If you go with the Milo as your main fert then I’d suggest going to their website and they have a program for the warm season grasses. Even though your putting down the pre m some still may get through so you may have to spot treat also for now and later.
Bermuda Grass Central thank you sir
Watch your vid's, and want to say thank you for the info.
The General no problem just keep watching and liking all my vids to help build the channel 👍🏾😀
Great video! I'll be putting my 007 this weekend. Will it prevent nutsedge also? If not what can I use to prevent it for next season?
Dietrick McKinney yes it will but that will be your Feb app and if you have had a real bad problem of Nutsedge you'll need to hit again in late April early May with the 19-0-07. If they still break trough then it's a product called sledgehammer you and purchase on Amazon that you'll have to spray it. But don't make the mistake and pull it out by hand because it will multiply underground unless you can pull the whole root system out that contains the nut and that pretty much impossible. Keep in mind it can take years of treating this Nutsedge to get it under control. Stay on a program and eventually you'll win.
Nice! Ok I will definitely keep that in mind. Thanks again!
Do you recommend de thatching during the fall for my Bermuda lawn?
Dietrick McKinney no, never detach Bermuda during fall, that's a Spring project. But what makes you think it needs to be?
Bermuda Grass Central
I was just wondering because you always here people core aerating or de thatching in the fall. I have some thatch but definitely nothing crazy.
I have some prodiamine 65 wdg to mix in spray can. I am better with liquids than I am with granular. Still need to water it in afterwards though?? Plan on putting it down this weekend hopefully
Ben Howard Awesome 👍🏾
+Czr S you should be ok as long it dosen't rain on 16th, lol
Who you taking GGG vs Canelo?
Czr S I'm riding team Czr, who ever you ride with, I ride with😀
Czr S not really sure, who do you have?
Bermuda Grass Central GGG all but I'm hoping for that classic old school boxing just a battle every round. Dropping a lb of nitrogen this weekend plus some ironite to keep it green for the fight. Mowing it every two days at 2 inch, so Saturday 16 it is clean looking so I embarrass all my friends and family, they will know who has the greenest lawn. #domination
