@@johnfeather-o5x splits apps are half the rate recommended by manufacturers. If you did double the rate it’s just gonna last longer, nothing to worry about on an established lawn.

You won't believe it a pawn shop!!! They Had a nice one sitting outside I only paid 85 bucks for it. I even gave the guy my old scott spreader and he gave me 10 bucks for it which made it 75 in the end. 80 pound spreader for less is what I call it now 😂😂
Found my site one near my house in Illinois. Great and knowledgeable team at the front counter. I made a funny how they aren’t to friendly to homeowners and they laughed. They love when we come in for help but don’t come in the morning when they are pushing out $1000’s for products to lawn care companies. I’m going with lesco fertilizer this coming 2023 season. Both work great , but you know my channel is built on economy. Although those higher cost Pre M’s do offer a lil bit more protection, these formulas are getting pretty close in results 👍🏾

OK, BYD. I registered a homeowner account with SiteOne. I'm checking out all of the lawn fertilizers and herbicides. Everything on the website is tagged as "REGULATED" and says that you have to have a license to buy any of it. They even have the exact same pelletized lime that I can buy at Home Depot tagged as "REGULATED". Is that a mistake or will they just not sell any lawn chemicals to a homeowner?
I’d actually go to a site one to inquire about that. Every since all those chemicals are available for purchase without a license, they have been selling to homeowners to compete now.

Lesco 19-0-7 has a post and pre emergent in it called Demension ( prevents weeds and controls weeds from germinating and possibly kills Baby crabgrass). Lesco 007 at Home Depot has pendimethalin which has both pre and post also . The 007 at Lowe’s only has a pre emergent called Prodiamine. 19-0-7 has Nitrogen and 007 does not. If you lawn is greening the the 19-0-7 may work best but double the cost in most cases.

Byd helllp! Im from ga also just bought this house and thought i had a crabgrass problem so i put out the lesco 007 pre em just today, well turns out its not crabgrass its dandelion. The whole yard is dormant except for ugly dandelion patches everywhere. Is there anything i can do having put the 007 down already ?? Great videos👍🏻 also im not sure what kinda grass i have it looks like some kind of sod. Very uniform look. I have 6500sq ft to treat
I just brought the 0.86 bag at home depot for $40. I've never bought preEmergrent before I was like wow is this stuff always this expensive but now I know. But I'm not sure what to set the spreader at my is small so I set it at 4 1/2 for my at Augustin grass here in Texas. Hopefully I didn't over do it with 2 passes

Doug that’s a tricky question. I’ve use prodiamine on some lawns for years a never had weed issues. But it gonna depend on you lawns history also. Every two years would be fine, but sometimes a good post emergent program can work wonders also. Or you can experiment with your own lawn to see what works best 👍🏾
I don’t have a solid winner because they all perform good in most cases. But you’ll need to have a good program though to get the best results. The granular is easy to apply though for the average home owner 👍🏾
Hello BYD, my landscaper mistakenly put Lesco 0.0.7 with some fertilizer Monday instead of the one solely 007 on my Bermuda now that it’s supposed to go fallow. Should I be worried since I never fertilize at this time of the year? Thank u for answering.

No idea 🤷🏾♂️ why they charged you that price.. I’d call them back and ask that same question. You be better off buying the .86 Lesco 007 at Home Depot for 25 bucks. Sunniland’s 007 is 25 bucks or less and it can cover 20k sq feet.
Actually I’ve recommended January also as a day to put down Pre Emergent in the past. Now having said that, you may have missed your window on certain types of weeds germinating but some protection is better than now on an established BermudaGrass 👍🏾
Hey BYD... I'm new to the channel. Just found out about you & lawn care recently. I live south of Atlanta near fayetteville; weather has been crazy lately. Some days the high temperatures are mid-70s other days the high temperature may hang around mid-50s & 60s. The Low Temps have been as high as 52degrees BUT last night (and a few other nights) the Low temperature was about 34-37degrees.😬🥶😬 It's supposed to rain tonight/tomorrow. [I guess,] Because of the temporary high 70 degree Temps [and my lawn faces the south] my lawn has started to green. I put down the hose-spray weed killer... I believe that I've missed "the window" for pre emergent. What should I do & with what product? Thanks for any/all advice.

There no exact perfect date but you see me reapplying, that not my first fall application. It’s probably to late if it’s your first fall application. But I’d still apply better some then none.
I've never had a good experience at Site1. They don't want to deal with home owners, they just want contractors in there. I buy my chemcials from Amazon and granulars from HD/Lowes. It's just not worth the hassle at Site1.

I shop at the site one in conyers. They have always been good to me and have the answers to any questions Ive ever asked. I even ask a few I already knew the answers. Just to check if I was being jerked around. Those guys are legit, at least in Conyers.

The Lowes where I live had Lesco .86 007 for $45, the Siteone near the house had .43 007 for $61. You’re going to spend some cash.

Why 0-0-7 dose it have something to do with to much nitrogen? I guess the pro stuff is stronger, I like the big box but its expensive.

Once a week will be fine, if rain 🌧 then don’t water at all 👍🏾

Spring time when lawn is starting to green but you still need pre emergent not. The good thing is you paid the 007 price 💰 😀
