My High School was Prince Edward Collegiate Institute and I graduated in 92. At that time there was a FULL technical department, Drafting, Electricity, Automotive, Welding, Machine Shop. I was in the technical stream and spent all 4 years learning REAL skills I still use every day. Nothing against college programs, but back then they assumed most people needed to be employable right out of the gate. The school was known for their tech grads. I later learned that only a few years after I finished the powers that be ripped out the machine shop. drafting. electricity shops to put in computer labs and scrapped all the machines, dozens of lathes, milling machines, a forge, surface grinders, bandsaws.all in a dumpster for scrap in the name of progress.

I have been a life time tradesman and know nothing about being a politician. And all I do now is complain because of how bad things are in Canada. I guess me and Pierre have at least something in common.
Any leader that can shake a tradesman’s hand and talks about the virtue of trades training has my vote. Those of the 11% who benefit from this regime’s policies and are desperate refer to Pierre Poilievre in a childish term is nothing more than irrelevant.
