I didn’t like the killing the wolf part-how cruel 😢🇦🇺
There's a lot of prey/ predated cruelty in war and peace. Maybe the killing of the wolf is designed to underline it for the reader
But also, this is an agricultural culture. A wolf is a dangerous thing that might eat livestock or even children. Hunting was the only choice.
