HMR Ep06 - Locost Engine Rebuild

Our Chevy S10's 2.2L engine was in good shape after nearly 200k miles and only needed a light honing of the cylinder walls, the head decked, and we are ready to rebuild the engine.

Interesting.. Couple of Questions tho: Why that Clearly Beaten up Iron Datsun Lump ?
As opposed to a Honda k20 Or K24... Hell even a D16??.
Wreckers have Ample supplies.
Beyond that 'choice' your datsun block Needs a rebore. (Machinist simply Took your $ IMO) . Witness the mess/wear at the top of the bores... Not good.
