I have both the RS2M and the qiyi ms so I’ll just give a review to anyone who is debating: Shades: The qiyi MS 2x2 has relatively light shades compared to the rs2m, especially the green. These shades are fine with me, but personally I like the more normal shades of the rs2m. Turning: The rs2m has a turning that I can describe that almost feels and sounds sandy, even after lubing it. It’s also a bit slower than the qiyi MS, and combined with its stronger magnets means that it turns somewhat slower than the qiyi MS. The qiyi MS has fast, blocky and smooth turning. It is also louder than the rs2m, however this is likely from the strong magnets and not the cube itself. Also, if you find yourself turning inaccurately, corner cutting on the qiyi MS is extremely loud. Overall, in terms of turning, I prefer the qiyi MS, but I can see why people would like the rs2m. In terms of corner cutting, I find the qiyi MS to have better corner cutting, but like I said, this corner cutting is extremely loud. On the other hand, the rs2m has worse corner cutting but is quieter. In my opinion, I prefer the qiyi MS 2x2, as I find the rs2m magnets to be too strong, but I can easily switch between both of them.

I don't really like rs2m evolution cause it has lockups. But I like gan and qiyi mp 2x2. I will try this cube because of its price.
ive never had trouble with lockups on the rs2m, especially compared to the mp which is notorious for having mediocre corner cutting

The QiYi is my pick for the best budget 2x2 because it’s $11. The rs2m is slightly cheaper, but is too fast in my opinion.
